  • I had a request to build 3 rustic Christmas Trees for props in a photo shoot set. I used 10 fence post “pickets” purchased from Home Depot for $1.38 a piece. This is a simple and easy build. Great for outside Decorations also. All that's left now is to paint them. Thanks for watching!!

The first is my favorite Christmas tree! I could see where someone could leave off the base and hang them up on the wall!👍

That's a great Christmas project. You sound a little "iffy" about it but don't sell yourself short. Many people will enjoy this. As you were cutting the boards I had a thought about how to make it easier. Instead of making a strait cut and then cutting 45s on each end you might try this. Cut a 45 on the first end. Now flip the board over and cut the 45 on the other end (without having to change the saw). In doing so you have also cut the first 45 for the next piece so you can just slide it down flip the board and make the second 45. Continue in this way until you have them all cut! It should eliminate a lot of cuts and save a little wood at the same time. Enjoy!

I’ll give this a try. I might put two hinges on the legs so I can store them flat. Really appreciate the videos.

Thanks, I don’t like those yard ornaments that use the vacuum blowers. I’ve been working at airports since 1984 and the last thing I don’t need to hear is a turbine spinning in my yard except for a leaf blower. Last week I made my 1st plywood ghost inside a pumpkin and now preparing for Christmas ornaments in the yard. Frosty then trees. I’m learning every day.

Get them as cheap as $20 or cordless ones needing no air compressor for $100-150
