  • This wooden christmas tree might not be as easy to make as some of the others. But, it looks so good in the house! In this step by step tutorial, I do my best to explain the entire process of making this diy christmas tree project so that when you are ready to build it yourself, there shouldn't be any hangups!

I wanted to let you all know that as a way of showing my appreciation to you for subscribing and checking out my channel that I want to put together a compilation video of your Christmas tree builds. It doesn't have to be the specific tree I made but just a wooden tree you made for Christmas!

    • @hardshellwoodworks
      @hardshellwoodworks  Před 8 měsíci

      Hey there Daryl! You had me worried there for a minute! I went out and checked the bottom branch to the tree, as well as checked the video again to make sure I wasn't giving terrible instructions! 🤣 @05:20 , I actaully said 19" inches. So, that's a relief. When it comes to the center mark of the branch, you would be correct that @ 19 inches / 2 is not 9-3/8" inches. When I bult the mockup, I must have messed that up and and pulled the degree cut to that numbe on the centerline of the trunk. So, I pull right to left and if you were to pull the same direction, everything would line up. However, if you were to pull left to right, the branch would be out 1/8" of an inch from lining up to the angled cut of the diagonal branch. I hope that makes sense . @@hardshellwoodworks ok, it is an acute trapezoid. Had to know!!! Now I need to sleep!! I’ve got about 7 more minutes left on the video but need to sleep! I will finish in the morning and also get back to your email! And I’ll be emailing some more of the projects I’ve built! Including a coffee table I built back in the mid 90’s! Have a good rest of your evening!
