I've noticed that Arena really loves to put you in a mirror match the first time you play with a deck. Same thing happened to me the first time I played the Weird deck you had a video on.
It sometimes sucks so much being a completely free player, since I want to build actual competitive decks, but I end up building Naya Runes and Historic Dinossaurs
@@sporemound2475 I honestly think that Gruul Dinos is a SEVERELY underrated deck, that could possibly be considered tier 3 or maybe even tier 2 Sure, it is absurdly weak to removal, but things like snakeskin veil actually help A LOT and sometimes a surprise haste Ghalta is all you need
Apparently the sleeve is called Glory of Kaldheim. It is glorious, I admit! It's weirdly hard to find sleeve lists. I could only find some clearly listed out on some seemingly rando site called Joe's Trading Post.
I play this deck in paper FNM and it is so much fun!! I have Birgi instead of Storm Herald, Dragonkin Berserker instead of Seasoned Halloblade to make big dudes in the lategame, and no all that glitters. But I still love this list. Keep up the great work! P. S. You could have companioned Jegantha for free.
Pious Wayfarer is amazing in this. I removed all of my Alseids for him. But my version was more geared toward the Storm Herald finish. I like showdown, I think it at least gets a spot or two.

Pretty much running the same list except instead of the seasoned hallowblades I run more all that glitters and storm's wrath. 9-1 my last 10 games in BO1 against Rogues, Sultai Ultimatum, RG adventures, and MWW. Those Storm's Wrath come in handy! Make your critters big enough to survive and wipe out most of theirs.
If this was the kind of channel that had poorly cut in-jokes randomly slapped into the mix instead of highly polished smooth editing and splash screens, I would love for "Oh my GOD, we're playing ourselves!" to be used as an audio clip upon encountering mirror matches in future videos :D
I made a similar deck. Black, white , green with hateful eidolon, runeforge, envoy, archon, and champion. Insane draw power and gets back on the board decently after being swept

Missed lethal in the match 4 - 34:45 All that Glitters to Envoy and you would kill him in one hit. But... Now I really want to make a 4 color runes deck.
I like the deck but what I like about runes is they can go in an equipment & still buff the guy u equip the same way. So I would put in at least 1 equipment, because u force them to have artifact or enchantment removal & most deck run a way to deal with creatures, but not so much enchants or artifacts
I think I would take out 1 showdown & 1 storm herald & pick an equipment to run, to replace them or one of the flip cards that can be played as equipment it u need it to be
I've been playing around with a similar deck, there are three cards I've been testing out I would love your input on: Clarion Spirit - Since you cast 2+ spells most turns it seems strong and lets you go wide. I tend to get good value out of it. Halvar, God of Battle - Just a juicy finisher, bit slow Archon of Sun's Grace - Obviously a strong enchantment card, but is it too slow?
For both Clarion Spirit and Archon I would say the same thing: I think they're both good cards, especially Archon, and would go well in this deck. I wouldn't put them in because I believe they detract from the main focus which is to draw cards and play runes. Halvar however, could be a good vehicle for runes on his equipment side, and a good win condition on his creature side. You could clip a card or two to put him in.
What is great with this channel is showcasing really really nice decks. What is bad with this channel is a fucking misplays are all over, which is totally disturbing and discouraging to watch. Play fucking good since You gonna post it. Thank You ❤️

No. Not everyone plays perfectly and neither do I. If you were to expect perfection everywhere you go, life would be quite stressful. I make mistakes. I learn from those mistakes and get better. You are quite welcome, however, to seek MTG content elsewhere. There are lots to choose from.

I love the rune storm deck. A lot of the have gold span dragon 🐉 to combo with free treasures.
I remember that AH said she does tarot as well, ever thought about making some kind of deck themed around tarot. Maybe a commander type deck?

I LOVE enchantment decks too. I have a whole other account dedicated just to Theros. I'd love to see your Orzhov and Golgari Enchantment builds.

Was going to point out that attaching the Rune of Might to the Setessan Champion on that turn would have been lethal as well.

Runed Crown could really improve this build.
