    my next car I want is a 7th gen Accord with a Manual transmission! I have 2 daughters and like the spacious nature of this car. I currently have a 1997 accord with the V6 2.7 Liter Engine and it Runs very well. there's just something about Honda's, they make the Best vehicles in my opinion. I'm on my 5th Honda right now.

    Nice man, I have a 2003 LX manual, silver, black interior. 204,000 miles. Mine's had a pretty rough life (It sees 6500 RPMs most days lol), plenty of rust spots on the hood, clear coat is completely stripped of the roof haha. Also did the MT fluid on mine. Did rear struts (very easy) and front passenger strut. Still runs like new. Probably the best car I'll ever own.

    i had an 07 coupe that i bought with 46k miles on it back in september 2010. loved that car, and this generation. it has everything that i want and need in a vehicle.
    since that time, i have retired the car due to transmission failure after 409k miles, and increased consumption of coolant. i only had a buick lesabre for 6 months as a transition car. then, i got rid of that POS and bought another 07 accord, this time a sedan.
    i love my car! here's to trying to surpass the coupe!!!

    I've got a 2004 Accord with a V-6 6-speed and I really don't like it. The shifting is extremely touchy, and it really is a pain to drive. My friend has the 4 cyl version and I found it to be a much better driving experience.

  • @samholt2062
    @samholt2062 Před 4 lety +4

    The v6 has that rubber timing belt the Achilles heel to hondas reputation of reliability cause that is the only thing that would be the deal breaker for me if i were buying a car and they have no documents for a new timing change but the 4cyl in your car has a timing chain that honda claims is good for well over 300k miles and that is why i totally agree with you on anout liking the 4cyl more then the v6 and its not that much of a power difference amd you get a little bit better gas mileage too

    Nice 03 Accord man. I have an 2007 Accord EX-L (4 cyl, AT) and I love it! I see that they really didn't change much on the interior of the Accord between first model year of 7th gen and last model year. Your Accord looks nearly identical to mine inside (except mine has heated mirror switch and Auto Transmission shifter). Mine is still barely being broken in with 29,170 miles on the clock :)

      The "golden age" of Japanese cars was early 90's to about 2005 or so (basically to the cars designed in the late 90s/early 2000s). After that they cheapened them up- more hard plastics, simpler suspensions, simpler body lines, etc. And of course they started manufacturing them in the USA.

    Jake you just fully convinced me to get an 7th gen that I recently seen last night from a walk back home it was pretty dark to notice if it was auto or manual until I put on flashlight, just seeing the shifter knob in neutral had me automatically giving the owner a phone call sadly no answer at the time but I will not give up. year of the accord unknown the car is clean parked up no stickers at all I'm believing and hope it's a 03-06 model it's an 4dr like yours sane interior color ex model, just want to know on the year of the car miles and price. currently an 94 cx white eg hb 5spd ofc with a y8 swap(98 civic motor)

    I was thinking to buy one of those as a backup car. I'll still keep my SUV and maybe lift it. But it's good to get another car. I need oil changes on Hondas like these and the oil filter are easy to get to. I would not buy a Honda older than 2003. They got too many owners and too many miles. And they're abused and beat to hell.
    Just hang on that Accord.

    I honestly don't think the Primacys are worth the money. Though I can only speak for the primacy mxm4, I bought them with 90% of the tread left and after 15,000 miles all 4 are at the wear bars. You're on track for 18,000 miles in a year which is what I did. I'm at about 20,000 now

    • @TheK24Kyle
      @TheK24Kyle Před 9 lety

      2JZBobby my moms michelin primacy MXV4's have been on her pilot since it was new and are still usable at 61,000 miles. they will finally need to be replaced in the fall. Probably going to be going with that brand tire when mine need to be replaced. however, i have put 18,000 miles on my car in the past year and i have noticed BARELY any tread wear on the 80$/ per tire fuzion tourings and they are insanely grippy and good in snow. extremely impressed with them... although i will note if a car sits around alot and does around town driving michelin tires dont last long. they will dry rot and crack because theyre so soft. im 99% sure the only reason my mom's have lasted so long is because her car is constantly in use on long trips

    NICE HONDA ACCORD. My 2014 Scion xB got TOTALED by a lady not paying attention (rear ended & pushed into a SUV in front of me).😯😩😮‍💨. I started to look for another car, I wanted a manual transmission car. I wanted a car that LASTS A LONG TIME. I found a 2003 Accord with a manual transmission BUT it had 225k+ miles on it, cracked windshield, not so great paint job and it had a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. It appeared to run Ok and drive Ok BUT the guy wanted $5300 which I thought was way too much considering the mileage and the other issues. He was a guy who buys CHEAP does a little work then sell for a HEFTY PROFIT. Plus heaven only know what else could be wrong that he doesn't tell me and I haven't checked it out very well. If it was about HALF what he was asking I might buy it but I SERIOUSLY DON'T THINK HE WOULD GO FOR THAT.🤔😮‍💨. I'LL LOOK SOMEMORE.😉😁😎
