    It's great to see another person who takes such great care of their car despite it being considered "old". so many people I know think 2007 is old... they think I is crazy I take such good care of my 2001 accord coupe, I personally think everyone should take great care of their car despite the age!

    Your video is fair and honest very in formative. I just bought on with 187k V6. Exl. Automatic.i love mine it's dark blue. New tires had to put brakes all the way around tho. It's in great shape and I love it. It's a very modern look for the year and era. Rides better than a honda. Honda's are great cars really like yours as well. Thanks again for the video.

    Further more i love how u do business in the US..unlike nigeria where car dealers are dishonest.my honda accord was worked on before i bought it and I didn't notice until after i bought the car. i definately had to spend alot of money to put the car in better shape.the underneath was so rusty

    Very good looking car and really good condition considering it's age. I actually really like this Accord, the only thing that bugs me is the reflectors in the front headlights (which I know is a requirement for cars in America). Very nice!

    Nice car Jake. I think I told you previously that my sister has a 2005 Accord EX-L, auto, 4 cylinder. Last time I checked she was at ~132,000 miles. She has taken really good care of it (maintenance, etc.). Summer of 2013 we took her car in for service and she asked to drive a new Accord EX-L. While she liked driving it, she thought it felt cheap, especially the door panels. We got back in her '05 and her comment was "Now THIS is a nice car!" I have to agree.

    I've always liked the 7th gen accord. I mean look what I competed with in the day Taurus , Camry , Impala , 300 , sonata , etc... Personally I think this aged the best! Also, do you think you'll add an air intake?

    What do you mean by post refresh? This car was redesigned from 2002, and was then refreshed with the all red tail lights in 2005 and with the LED tail lights in 2006. I do prefer this look though. I just picked up a 2003 Accord EX 2.4 stick with Leather. It's black. I'm pretty sure mine is a 2003, but I have the heated mirrors.

    I hated my old '05 Ford Taurus SE. But I will say it had enormous sun visors that slid out rather than the dinky little extender. My '04 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro has the dinkiest sun visors. I will never understand Honda's reasoning as to why they won't use a split folding rear seat in the Accord. Civic has it on EX and above in coupe and sedan. When will we get to see a test drive video?

    Thoughts on the crash test scores of this car? Was that of any concern to you when you bought this car? I'm currently looking at a mint condition EX model with 130,000 miles and I might get it off the lot for under $6k out the door, but it scored Poor in most areas outside of frontal impact.

    • @Jakeman21642
      @Jakeman21642  Před 9 lety

      In all honesty for as much money as the TSX goes for there are many other things I would just rather have (including this one) but they're still really good cars. Also impossible to find clean ones with the manual transmission (didn't want another automatic)

    • @hondaftw1234
      @hondaftw1234 Před 9 lety

      If I find one I will buy a TSX 6MT. That has been a favorite of mine forever. Such a special little car. I'm having a hard time finding both the Accord and TSX with a manual in my area under $8000. Top choice right now a long with those two is a 1st gen Mazda 3.

    • @hondaftw1234
      @hondaftw1234 Před 9 lety

      It's not difficult to find an auto TSX or an auto Accord, but manuals are far more difficult. There is a 1 owner no accidents TSX 6MT saved on my search with 83,000 miles for $6990. I have my license but I'm not 17 so I can't get it now, but if I was you bet your ass Id drive to Jersey to buy that car.
      If I can find one like that in a few months I will buy it. There are deals out there.

    Does it burn oil?
    Many Accord 2.4 4 cylinders do......My 2003 eats a quart of oil about every 700 miles.
    Crappy defective engine made by Honda.
    Worst Accord made was the 2008 model, thousands of complaints about oil consumption and other issues.

    • @ThreeNTheMornin
      @ThreeNTheMornin Před 7 lety

      Motor City Man my dad had an 05 2.4 with 200k and didn't leak any oil. Now he has an 08 with 105k and it doesn't leak any oil either. Idk what you're talking about.

      Bajaheat
      What year is yours?
      And a quart every 3,000 is nothing.
      The 2008 Accords had horrible brake pad issues.
      Thousands of complaints about going through brake pads in 10 or 15,000 miles.

    • @Bajaheat
      @Bajaheat Před 7 lety

      Motor City Man have an 03 and 04 both use around the same amount and both now have over 160k miles. They have both been great cars. No transmission issues. Just normal maintenance.

      +Jorge Junqueira Loved it. Mine was a pretty ragged out one with almost 180k and it still put a smile on my face to drive. That being said it really wasn't that great for what I was using it for (40 mile a day highway commute) and would be even worse for the 60 mile a day highway commute I have now. Jakeman651 on insta....if you go back far enough I've got plenty of pictures of it. Car was pretty much bone stock and I only owned it for a few months.

    • @JorgeWipeOutMan
      @JorgeWipeOutMan Před 8 lety

    • @Jakeman21642
      @Jakeman21642  Před 8 lety

      +Jorge Junqueira Wasn't a fan of the harsh ride with the REALLY bad roads in my area and how high it revved. I also really just need 4 doors on my daily driver and the EP3 really had a small trunk. Overall I loved it and still get excited when I see them around but it just wasn't that good for what I was doing when it when I look back .
