> modifies and turbocharges daily driver

This was my first thought
Gotta make videos
Endless content + sell the modded daily to fund the new one
@@kilometeres1962 yes, I'm aware of how CZcams works, I was just making a joke about it.
It's an absolute JOY to drive dude.
Gingium has so much credibility when saying "dont doubt me, this car is special, this cars going to be awesome"
and episode later, he will throw coils and wheels XD
Wait, the fact that the fit kept up with this accord is actually crazy. These things are quick. That fit was quicker than I realized.
I would hope the boosted fit could keep up with the accord while its stock..
@@1StoppJayIt’s not a diss to your accord lmao. It’s just impressive that gingium’s build of a motor not known for its performance was able to keep up without any internal work.
@@1StoppJay Car has like 109HP stock. It's actually pretty crazy.
Honda actually under reported the Horsepower the v6 Accord had to meet emission requirements,
the 2016 generation had limited slip differential which helped with all that power going to the front wheels
@@stevejeffrey11honda got caught over reporting their HP actually. They were exposed when testing and reporting regulations were tightened up. It's US cars that under reported, the same refinements to testing gave cars like the Corvette a few more hp.
YES! The v6 coupe accords are actually so underrated. Very powerful, not heavy, super reliable… 9 psi and they make over 400 horse
I had one. I loved it.
@@oldmandizzle8311me too, the only car I bought twice .
Mine was auto but still such a fun car I miss it
Not from factory
@@Lorentz_Driver correct, hence why I mentioned that it needs to be boosted to make 400 wheel…
SANKEI 555 BALL JOINTS FIRST MOD got a accord and had the ball joint pop out of no where and you will be thankful you changed them stoked on this build with your work anything can be amazing
This.
I second this. Had a ball joint blow and ripped my axle apart. Thankfully it happened in a parking lot and not bombing down the highway
almost blew one on my tl, def worth it
Yes, the only issue I had with the 7.5 gen accord was the ball joint on passenger side. Has 323k miles
same thing happened to me as well. 👍
I used to work at a Honda dealership. All us technicians LOVED taking the V6/6MT Accords for test drives. They’re sleepers for sure. The last ones they made had nearly 300 hp from the factory
290 ish horsepower, also limited slip & the coupes were lightweight
244hp but close enough 😂
@@blackhawkgamingtv6553they're talking about the later generation 1 I have one identical to the one in the video that I have full bolt ons tuned with 320 HP at the wheels but the 8th and 9th generation that came after this do have close to 300 horsepower from the factory at the crank because they came with the bigger 3.5 l the 7th gen like in the video and what I have is only a 3.0
J30a4 aint no where near 320whp
Even crank you aint doing 270-280 whp regardless what you bolt ons you have
@@seattlejdmcivic yeah the early 2000's model had around 240 HP, could still spin the tires in first and second
Bought my 2000 Honda accord in 2019 for 2,500 with 145k miles. It has 261k now and it’s still like the day I got it. You can’t lose money on these things
unless you bought and auto 6th gen. those autos are garbage
@@Fauxghost it’s an auto v6
@@Fauxghost they are not that bad. my friend has an accord 04 auto 226,000kms the auto trans still shifts perfect no slips, no jerks. cant say the same for my zf 6hp 28 in my audi its jerky as hell after 150,000kms. I guess 600nm torque is a lot more to handle though.
@@Fauxghostmy auto 6th Gen has a bad 1-2 shift and shutters downshifting a little.
Damnnn drove it nearly as many miles in 5 years than it did in 19!
You’re supposed to take a piece of the clay and knead it before use and continue to knead it as you go along. Also, based on the state the paint was in, you needed a wool pad with cutting compound, then a second pass with a foam pad and polish.
I'm pretty sure he knows to fold the clay. But as for the wool pad with cutting compound, I'd actually recommend using 3M's new Tri-zact line up. They have somehow figured out how to remove using a wool pad entirely and go straight from D-A sanding to polish. And it's absolute MAGIC
About any car with a manual is a win.
Smart car? Weiner mobile? Even if those were manuals i wouldn't drive them😂
For a daily driver, manual is shit. Who wants to pump the clutch 3 million times in traffic?
@@Jacquobite For a daily driver, manual is awesome. Who wants to drive a brain rotting auto when you can have proper control of your vehicle and rev-match every gear?
@@JacquobiteI do. The only people who have a problem with it are pathetic drivers. You seriously don’t enjoy just driving your car around? Out of all the cars ever built, where the manual is by far the better option in 99.9% of them, you’d limit yourself to a shitty auto?
@@josephsamsor1698 this is a crazy opinion. you're definitely 14 and don't own a car.
Love it. Passenger side engine mount is probably toast. Very common.
Ahh that’s the clanking I feel lol
Innovative makes a decent mount set
Good mounts really help the launch and wheel hop too lol
@@_Gingium_can vouch for HLP, P2R, and HeelToe for performance parts
@@_Gingium_Timing belt, timing belt, timing belt. Don't let it kill another beautiful J-series.
So extremely hyped for this build. My first car was a 6-6 accord and it was the most fun you could have in a Honda for under 2K at the time. So excited to see the Gingium touch on this car 🤘🏼
2k for a 6-6 is unheard of these days
I owned one of these years ago. No fuss, reliable, great gas mileage, good power, great gearbox. Loved the thing. Then I crashed it like an idiot 😓 hoping to live vicariously through the vids of this build. Super stoked
27mpg highway is not great gas mileage for an accord, or sedan in general
@@surewhynot6259 someone is young and knows nothing about the engineering of ICEs. 27 hwy mpg for 240hp in a 3 liter V6 was incredible gas mileage for 2007, and is still pretty good by modern standards. An N/A V6 is not the turbo 2 liter 4 cylinder you're used to. It also doesn't drive the same way.
@surewhynot6259 these get like 30+ on the highway.
@@surewhynot6259i get 22 but thats alot on me i wont lie
@@catoilsalesman9158 yeah I thought I remembered mine being better than advertised. I think I remember getting 31 mpg mostly cruising at 85
I only discovered yesterday that Honda produced street going V6's and started marvelling at the idea of modifying one of these. Today my favourite youtuber announced he's got a Honda V6 project. I'm the happiest guy in the world
also hafaland performance does a lot for the 8th gen specially..
p2r does a lot of j series development às well
Cant wait to see some wheels on it. Humble projects like this are my favorite, it just feels way more realistic
"humble" lol
Engine mods are humble too. Not like they are expensive until you start buying internals
The rpf 1s are op already ❤
2003-2018 v6 3.0 to 3.5 accord v6 and the 03 acura cl with 3.5 . 6x6 is a car that we will never see again.. poor man nsx.. i still have my 2012 6x6 fbo 170k miles.. will never give it up!
Slowly, becoming Honda boy nice 😂 good to see more Honda content 🦾🔥
new Gingium build = instant click and like ✅
instantly licks my balls
I had an 05 Acura TL with the 6 speed. Great power, quiet, comfy, and great MPG.
Edit: if you lower one of the J series FWD manual cars, you’ll probably experience heavy front end vibration on accel in 2nd and 3rd. Control arm bushings and most likely axles.
Thats what i own rn but my mpg is terrible
This is common of lowering most fwd cars. Axle geometry changes and you feel that.
@@rodeo2026 I'd average 23 mpg highway/city on a tank. 80mph would yeild 27-30 mpg avg, 70 would be 32-35mpg avg. All with the 6MT
18:00 this was my favorite part of the entire video 😂
I've owned an 08 Accord EX-L V6 Sedan for about 4 years now and I love it so much. The powerband is so enjoyable in the mid range for city and highway driving. Such a good car. The 9th gen accord is definitly the coupes final and ultimate form, I gotta have that next. Hope everything goes well for you with this forreal.
I personally would say that the Honda cr-z is one of Honda’s most underrated cars
Honda should've drop a k series in the crz they would've sold like hot cakes
@@StingrayOfficial exactly why I’m trying to purchase one at the moment
@@StingrayOfficial go do your own research instead of relying on hearsay

CRZ is just a 2 door fit 👀
I'm REALLY hyped for this build! Always loved 7th gen accords. A friend of mine had a J35 swapped one, 12 sec 1/4 mile car hah!.
I 6 speed seapped one of these a few years ago. Its so much fun. Now im seapping a 3.2 in it in the next few weeks
the era of these interesting coupe versions of the full size sedan models was really cool. I have a 2008 nissan altima coupe with the 3.5l v6, manual transmission, actually crazy how much these two cars have in common in terms of quality, power, and layout.
The altima coupe had a vq + manual like the accord coupes, and the high spec ones with leather interior and everything, super comfy and nice
I’ll be getting the 3.5 manual in the future. I had one with the little 2.5. Miss that car, it was a coupe too
My friend had one was actually a pretty sweet car with the v6
Vq manual altimas & maximas are often easily made to be quicker than these.
before that we got the altima se-r which was a less detuned vq and a 6-speed, but was also slower than the se because it was like 100 pounds heavier somehow. but they're pretty rare to see now and people always look at me weird when I get excited at seeing an altima.
@@etrcentenario9737 no 🧢, I was so close to buy one of those se-r. I seen one for sale in Georgia one time speced out white with some gold rims, had a sick ass body kit on it. Again, I’ll have one in the future.🙌
Accords are always underrated cars. I have a newer 10th gen 2.0t one with a big turbo making around 390whp. Absolutely nobody expects it to be fast. Perfect daily and sleeper!
As a guy from The Bahamas the love for Honda’s over here is tremendous so seeing you do this to a 03 -05 coupe is amazing
Makes me happy to see acccodd coupe representation, I had an 8th gen for my first car. One of my favorite accord coupes
I remember like years ago a Magazine had a take that THIS was the modern Muscle car. It had the biggest engine available, manual transmission, 2 door, all at an affordable price. Now, it's missing that the biggest engine is a V6, and that it's fwd. But you can kinda see where they were coming from, even if a bit dumb to say.
Our boy gingium is slowly transitioning to honda boy
vtec yooooo
Awesome video. I have a 06 v6 6 speed sedan and I love the car. You were right about a lot of the things you said. Mine took some work but now it has full adjustable front and rear suspension, upgraded shocks and springs, intake, j pipe innovative mounts, and I have a stage 2 ported and polished magnesium intake manifold and throttle body on its way. Can't wait to see more from this channel!
Excited for this build. I love all the POV and 360 footage and the fact that you can bring a new car home and immediately pull it up on the dyno.
LETS GOOOOO!
this build series is gonna be sick!
Centrifugal supercharger would be sweet, cool noises, less custom fabwork neeeded, crazy top end since you already have decent low and midrange with the displacement. Also always like a turbo but Centrifugal would be cool.
Man, Ive been watching this channel for about 6 years now and the quality of these videos and the creativity of the builds just continues to impress me
The 6-6 accord is a treasure. Thank you for buying n building this!
I had an 07. I loved it. Full bolt ons. She was such a sleeper. Get the XLR8 performance j-pipe when you do the exhaust. It really wakes the car up.
But you already have the most underrated car, the Fit
I had a 6 speed ‘06 J30 sedan. Just sold it last year, kinda miss it. It was an awesome car. Glad you’re doing these justice!
When reviewing my 2003 Accord Coupe V6 manual, I was only 3/10ths of a second behind my NSX 0-60 time. The interior quality is quite impressive and the J series motor is rock solid. These Accords are absolutely slept on.
Supercharge it and bags👀 either way excited for this project
bro i just bought a 2012 honda accord 3.5L v6 manual coupe and i love it!! congrats on the car
Always liked these, there’s always a ton of them on Marketplace, mostly manual too. Almost bought one a few times as a beater but they’re just weird looking from the back.
Hell yeah, super sick to see a Accord 6/6 build coming! I've got a 9th gen 6/6 myself and theyre a blast!
7th gen Accords are amazing! I used to own a black 2007 euro Accord wagon, it was great until the rust got so bad that it wouldn't pass mandatory inspection anymore. It was just the base 2.0l gas engine with a manual transmission, but the shifter felt really nice so it was actually somewhat fun to drive.
I had a 2003 v6mt Accord coupe, it was a fun car, handled well but had huge fender gap, and it was quick in a straight line. My wife had trouble with its blind spots so we sold it and bought a E36 328i. The 328i was slower but better in every other way; less NVH, better handling, more communicative, and more comfortable.
just bought a 6-6-6 sedan. this will motivate me to go further! great vid
i just bought my 7th gen accord just a couple months ago! you just gained a new subscriber, cant wait to see what you do with yours
called it. hyped to see what you do with this because honestly those accords are super fun to drive and the v6 has to feel good to drive. excited to see the future of this car
cant wait for the new upcoming videos of this Accord. Already looks killer with the polish, headlights, and red badges! Killerrrrr!
Stoked for the new accord series this video was so exciteding
That paint is beautiful!
YESSIR i been dailying an 05 v6 manual accord for like 4 years. it just works and feels quick.
This is a great video man, I like your ability to make cars like the accord more appealing - especially being underrated. It’s amazing what a polish can do
Super excited to see this! I owned a 6-6 sedan, 2006 in the Carbon Bronze pearl color, has 200k and drives like it has half that. Wonderful leather and practical controls, it’s been one of my favorite cars to own. Plenty of power, lovely gearbox and good mpg even. Tough to find bad things to say about it
I worked at a Honda dealership when these things were new and on the used lot. I always loved them. Definitely underrated.
This is dope, I’m excited to see where it goes!
I've had 3 of these Accord V6 6mt's over the years. Daily drove Them, put like 40,000 miles on each of them and just did basic maintenance. One of them I put on coilovers, sticky tires, exhaust, intake etc. Still regret selling that car but man it was fun. Took it to tail of the dragon a couple times with the mods it feels awesome! You'll love owning one
Super hype for this build. I'm a big fan of accords w my first car being a 5 speed 97 accord coupe, so I'm really excited to see what you do to it!
Yesss I have a 9th generation Accord coupe with the 3.5 v6 and I love it!
Such a classic. Cant wait to see where this goes. The buff showed up good on video too. Just watching the reflections of the Hot Wheels sign, in the time lapse, made it clear how much crud you removed. And sweet shot of your downhill run in the end credits!
Man gingium idk if you’ll see this but I haven’t watched any videos from you since you finished building the rally Miata since life got crazy for me but I got this video recommended to me and decided to watch it and you’ve come a long way man keep up the awesome work man I’m gonna keep watching!
This is going to be a dope build. I have an 8th gen 6-6, but had a 6th gen sedan before this. You're going to love the accord.
I'm so glad you bought this car I have a 04 7th gen coupe as well and there is no updated content on CZcams for the 66 you've just got a new subscriber. The car looks great these are all of my first upgrades I did to mine I also did the radio upgrades because my navigation screen went out.
looking forward to seeing this build come together! i love to see other people build 7th gens especially
have a 2013 honda accord, i love it. runs great, gas economy is pretty good as well.
Big fan of this new build! Looking forward to seeing what you can do with it
I am really excited for this series. I am a fan of under rated and weirder options to modify. Keep it up mate.
nice video man ! looking forward to see this build
I’m digging this idea/build. Hope you do a nice tuner build. This generation accord can look sick when done right.
Great car I own a 06 V6 6spd 4 door and I baby it all the time, I’m excited to see someone making content about the car and rarity of it!
You show it off in 7th gen groups?
a friend of mine had one of these for years and tracked it all the time. we even drove it from Ontario to ginger man raceway and Michigan all weekend in gridlife and drove it home with zero issues.
I had a 2003 Accord V6 6 speed manual, sold it in 2018 with 168K on it. Besides the normal wear of tires, brakes, suspension, and 2 timing belts/water pumps, the was great gave me no problems and was a blast to drive, the LSD differential didn't hurt either. Honda gets A+ from me on that car.
This is the reason why I love this channel so much
Absolutely love this car. I got a 03 Cl type s 6 speed (pretty much the same car) for my first car and 6 years later it's been an absolute charm. Got a s2k as my around town car for now but it's still my go to road trip car.
Can't wait for this build, ive owned my 07 coupe 6-6 for 10 years now, its one I'll never get rid of, especially hearing everyone else regretting selling theirs. Lol.
Mine is 05 6-6 158k miles awesome car with slight mods can’t wait to watch these videos while making my own vids
my uncle is 2nd in charge at a buy here pay here and sometimes i run errands or get parts for him as a side job, one of the things i do is take cars to the wash and switch with a car that has been washed and detailed. I had to take a early 2000s honda accord v6 to the wash and i gotta get on the highway to get there, i got to witness v6 VTEC which was pretty fun.
Thank you so much for making this video. The Accord coupe V6 is such an underrated car and I've been waiting for them to get some attention by CZcamsrs, especially because they are so affordable. Just a great deal for a good looking, fun daily car. I'm an owner of a 2017, which is the last year Honda made the Coupe V6, and I love it so much. Unfortunately its not a manual but its still the same 6 speed transmission as the manual with paddle shifters to help maneuver through its 278 horsepower. I'm never getting rid of this car ❤
Love my 04 6-6 accord so much potential they are super slept on!
Can’t go wrong with a Honda period bro so much potential!!! Great video can’t wait for the next 🤙🏾
Cant wait to see how this one comes out! Your builds are always fire
Very nice man, good clean up. I have an 8th gen V6 Auto 2 door and yes they are soo good. Comfortable daily driver with still good power when you need it. Might do a supercharged build for mine whenever i get money.
Oh I'm loving this series already
Much respect for not painting the reeeyums black or putting giant spade wheels on it.
The Accord 6MT is the honda I think about when I think about "Honda" xD
Super hyped to see what you do! Love these cars ❤
How am I just discovering this Chanel now? Your content is awesome! New sub!
Have a 7th gen sedan and its a reliable daily. Excited to see the future build with this
love it so far subscribed to see the journey
The fit was sick and im actually stoked to see this one
Subbed. Just about every 6-6 Accord left, especially these older 7th gens are just clapped out. Nice to see this one get the love it deserves. I have a 2016 6-6 and I absolutely love it.
So stoked for this build!
Can’t wait to see this build! Make sure you do the timing belt if it hasn’t already been done recently.

Can't wait to see more of this car 🤩
Can’t wait to see the build
Dude this car rocks! Always liked them, exciting to see what youre gonna do with it. This is gonna be a great series
In 2017 I had an ‘04 Accord 6-6 for two years and 50k miles. I really liked that car.
Wow! Looks good!! I hope you’ll do a full tune up and timing belt job before adding boost.
YES! As an owner of a 2008 6-6 I can’t wait to see what you do with this
My ‘07 Honda Accord V6 has 270,700 miles with Original motor and transmission and not a single light on the dash. Perfect, reliable and gets up to speed nicely (plus I upgraded the outdated components)
