Huge thanks to Mia for letting us capture it to share with all of you.

Skating don't have an age!! Started to skate seven months ago at the age of 34, because of u guys! It took me six months to learn how to ollie, another month while rolling. I've kissed the floor so many times... Now I'm learning the shove and pop-shove as well but it's never to late to skate or to skate again!!
Nice!
i know, right. I'm 41, got my long board when I was 32, crashed it, had a 7 inch skateboard that I fixed up this month and started skating this month after a four year hiatus. Landed my first shove it [without the pop], getting the hang of mannies, and attempted an ollie [that was, err, interesting and humorous]. Just gotta get out of your head an do it. People can do some amazing things then
You cant delete the truth.
Same here bro. 31yrs old. Still getting my Ollie down. I've learn to shove it but not while moving. It's been like 3 months for me. I've always wanted to learn and thought I should finally do it. Love hearing about others doing the same. 👍🏼
dank
I want Aaron teaching me everything with that level of excitement
She's 33?
Those Brazilian genes game is strong dang
I might have to move there
As soon as they stop burning the damn place
33 isn't old, but you're still right. Lol
Better check her ID just to be sure
@@slipinslider dont believe in everything you read mate
This woman has an 80s teen movie, soft focus, slow motion, stepping out of a sports car montage kinda beauty.
😆😆😆 hahahha thank you!
That could be the tagline for all of skateboarding. "the problem is just landing it".
It is
Indeed.
Or flightschool.
xD But in the words of R. Kelly 'I believe I can fly'.
I skated as a kid, did pause for 16 years and started again recently at 32. Thanks to braille and waltz
That is awesome, I love hearing stories like that. Makes all of this worth it!
same story here... i had a looooong pause too ;)
same. even the 32 part. it can be frustrating at times
Did it feel like starting from scratch or did some reflexes kick in again ?
same! at 31 started again
After brain surgery my balance was wrecked. Braille inspired me to get back into skating. Thanks Braille!
I admire Aaron's ability to be such a good teacher he really knows how to be supportive
I'm 33 and getting back on a board for the first time since I was 16. Never successfully pulled off an ollie or shove it as a teen, but I didn't have the informational resources I have today. Wish me luck!
Have you been skating every day for a whole year now? And are now landing all sorts of flip tricks?
You guys got me on skateboard. I'm 30 years old and starting from the beginning
life lesson right there: "it's not easy, but you can do it"
Hahahahaha
The joy that Aaron feels when someone does a trick! It’s inspiring 😁
AWESOME!!! BRING HER AGAIN IN MORE VIDEOS 😍
Yes! 😆
Aaron this is the type of video I’d watch every single day. I love watching people learn tricks. Maybe do a follow up in a couple weeks or months to see if they’ve stuck with it. This stuff is so cool to see.. of course keep the other videos but definitely do these too 😊
There's some places here in Brazil that skateboarding is seen and treated like vandalism. What is a shame knowing that lot of people has a chance to get out of drugs, bad habits and stuff like that by practicing sports, and skateboarding and football are the most popular of them in the slums for example.
Shouts out from Brazil 🇧🇷!!
Love u guys!
Buddy thats everywhere.
@@quezlark7875 Really?? That's sad bro
Pedro Menezes Well, to be honest, I think skaters made their bed. For years skaters have been break in places and challenging security guards, skating in forbidden places, putting other people in danger. I guess it’s because there wasn’t many parks to skate. But now things are getting better, I think skateboarding is seeing as a sport for the most of people. And will be even better after Olympic Games.
Just skate in the right places, where there’s no risk for other people and respect the law, and nobody will think u are a vandal.
@@heitorlgf I agree with u. In fact, the situation it's getting better! But as I said it happens in a few places yet. In the city where I live for example. I think that it's more related to how the mayor manage things related to sports and culture. Here they don't give a damn about it, we don't have any skateparks, any laws related to it and the police arrests skaters even if they're playing in the middle of a desert street, you know. It's kinda sad. But I got your point. I wish after the Olympics things get better too, mainly in places like my city. Hahaha
@@heitorlgf The reason why I quit skating was why couldn't find a group of skaters that weren't doing vandalism or using drugs.
Excellent! Glad to know others are picking up skating again after a taking a few decades off. It's not just me.
Kory Rene I'm right with you buddy.... I'm 43 now and I so much regret quitting in early 90's, purely because my old buddies stopped and then I went through the clubbing scene. I always had a huge passion for skating, after watching so many CZcams videos I decided about 5-6 years ago, screw it I'm gonna buy a new set up, kept stopping and starting since then thinking.... Is this what a mid life crisis is?! So stopped & started ALOT, now I'm back at it, but I gotta skate alone which makes it harder and live in UK so there's not a lot of good spots around. A lot of the time I just practice in my back garden or in garage when raining. I so envy the Braille team, they are so lucky to be completely surrounded by skateboarding. Keep at it buddy. 😊✌️
I’m with you
Same! 33 now, with a 20 year break!
Same here, but 53 with a 35 year break.
She's gorgeous.
She’s 33.
@Jaime he saying it like 33 is old ... He must be a little kid to think 33 is old

FUN dont have an age. youre never too old to have fun. 32 here, started skating again 2 weeks ago (after 17 years break). Its so much fun. thx @braille for your great videos, and thanks Aaron for telling me after every Video, that I should start skating. Much love from switzerland
I've learned this trick in one and a half hour of just trying trying trying. Thank you Mia for daring to try it in front of a camera, you've inspired this 25 year old woman to go for it. Aaron I love how you keep trying to find ways to get people to learn things!
Yeah! You go girl 😆
I'm 34 and just bought my first skateboard because of Braille. You guys are awesome!
Seeing all the other old skaters relearning or learning for the first time makes me feel less alone in it...and Braille seems to be a common inspiration.
the 42 at 42 has started.. its because of vids like these that got me pumped to do it..keep it up! more old people!!
If she is on every video, i will like and watch all ads.
Same
Owwh :)
Shout out from Brazil! 🇧🇷

Mia Rox Mia! When I saw this video I couldn’t believe how amazing you look!! I can’t forget our vacation in Rosario/Argentina! I miss those times, my friend! You definitely rock!!!
Guys I looooooove your channel so much. Not only did it bring me (34) back to skateboarding after 18 years of not skating, but also made me hoping for new content on CZcams every evening. I am so into it again that even my 6 year old boy wanted a skateboard now and is learning it together with me :)
yes! Two generations skating together, I love it.
So sweet!
I'm 22 and on holiday at the moment. I can't wait to get home and pick up a skateboard from under my bed again after rediscovering this channel. Been about 3 or 4 years
I tried skating two years ago and I couldn't Ollie so I Quit. But recently you guys got me back into it and inspired me. Thank you Braille.
I love how encouraging Aaron is-- that guy truly is the best. A humble, kind dude helping people learn how to skateboard.
Thank you
still cannot hide the fact that he is a sciencetologist🤮
(/s i love you arron)
I stopped skating when I was 17, started again at 33 because of Braille. landed my first kick flip a few days ago. THANKS BRAILLE!
Awesome job! We want to see a video of that kickflip
@@brailleskateboarding will do! 😎😁
This summer i found you and i started to skateboarding again after 23 years...Now i have 43 years old...thanks to all!...really..
Awesome!!
I love the encouragement in this video! If I didn't live across the country, I'd gladly pay for lessons over your way, you're the type of motivation I could use sometimes.
Also, dont forget that pro's basically make anything look easy. Especially in compilation video's, you just see flawless tricks, but most of them probably have been tried countless of times before landing it. And they started the exact same way as anybody else. As with anything really: Practice makes perfect.
Ok I needed to see this, just got into skateboarding (thanks to your videos... I'm 30) I had only ever been on a skateboard when I was like 13 (not mine, but I taught my cousin how to ride his skateboard)... I was feeling a little nervous about trying to learn at 30... this was the inspiration I needed for the day! (would love to see more older skaters trying stuff for the first time on here)
32 here and I started three months ago after more than 15 years.
@@TheDimebag49 It's tough to relearn but so rewarding though
You guys are all awesome and I am so glad we helped inspire you to get on a board!
This is awesome! Congrats Mia! I'm 29 just getting into skating, and Braille has been a huge inspiration. Please keep showing people learning and their progression. I'm getting my board and SMS!
Also back skating after 15 years, you guy's videos are a godsend!
I love your positivity Arron! You’re the best!
I love these videos thanks Braille ...when i was younger i skated solid for 9 years ..had family ..slowed down then had my car broken in and my set up stolen..and now my daughters all grown up and i have bit more spare time im 43 and back into it....and loving it again just gotta get my muscle memory dialled in again lol ..your never too old to skate as long as my legs work its gona be all good.
THANKYOUUU NIGEL, that little tip to jump forward just helped me out so much 👌
SQURBAL GOD it really does!
Awesome
thanks for sharing! some of your videos have pushed me over the edge at 33 to start skating again. ive also had about a 10-15 yr break from skating and love being back at it. my 4 daughters are now loving going to the skatepark with me and my 8 year old did her first drop in on the 2nd day! keep making awesome videos 🤙🏻
Started skating 2 months ago because of you guys, still getting used with balance and doing ollies over small ledges.
I've been struggling to land shove-it for a while now, seeing this video is really helpful.
Shouts out from Brazil !!
33 and BANGIN!
I started skating 4 months ago and landed an ollie in 4 days with the help of braille's tutorials. Now i can nose stall and ollie to nose stall i can "vanilla milkshake", drop in and other basic tricks, currently working on my 180's and my shoves ❤️
EDIT: OMG I GOT A HEART FROM THE BRAILLE TEAM AAAAA IM SCREAMING LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH ❤️

Been saving up for a board for my 4 yr old niece and I, for a couple months. She’s getting a unicorn deck!!! Y’all are on my top 3 CZcams favorites.
Hooray that is awesome, you are a great uncle
I could listen to her talk all day, her accent is so cute.
It’s awesome to see someone progress quickly at skateboarding. :)
I really loved this video, because it shows how a person who just starts to skate after a 15-year break, can really do a trick, you guys show that yes, it can be done that is not impossible, you wanted to motivate and encourage the people to skate and you really are doing it. Good job Braille team!
Thank you!
The reason y I watch these vids r because learning new things and Aaron is so positive even if it gets other people annoyed Aaron always maintains a positive additude 😊
Thank you
Just took it back up after 30 yrs. Pads and helm now but just as fun. Btw, couls not ollie 30 yrs ago and landed 1st one day 2 of back to skating.
Thanks guys. 44 yr old
Nice! Good job on that Ollie
This is awesome. I'm 33 also and have been watching all your videos trying to get back into skating, its nice to someone my age being able to pick it up again and do it
Get it Mia! I love this kind of content! After a rough day at work it's super good to sit down to all this positivity

What do we have here? Absolutely gorgous 33 year old brazilian beauty learning a shove, well...didn´t see that commin´ :o
It's just so nice seeing how happy she looked when she landed the trick 😁 You guys are so amazing ❤ you motivate so many people to skate. 🖒🔥
Thank you
I have a similar story. I skated as a teenager but I was such a scared kid i never even managed to ollie. I blinked and all of a sudden I'm 315 pounds and about to turn 30. As a 2020 new year resolution I wanted to get back into skating as a means of getting outside and getting active and ill be damned if it isnt some of the most fun ive had. Now about three months in, even at over 300 pounds, ive managed to ollie successfully and the amount of strength ive gained in my legs and back have helped my in my day to day life sooooo much. Whatever you think is in the way of you starting skating, trust me you can do it.
I love videos where Aaron teaches novices new tricks. Nigel's reaction to her age was priceless! 😂👌
These guys got me and my boys into skateboarding. I use to skate when I was 15 and 16, but life got in the way and I hung the board up for a long time. Now I’m 41 and my boys wanted to skate- so I am getting back at it 25 years later. Better late than never I guess. Thanks @Braille.
That is awesome, I love hearing stories like this!
I started skating because of Braille. I have been skating for two weeks and I now how to ole right now I am learning how to shove it.
Thanks Braille for teaching me how to skate
You are welcome
Sup boiiii
I love your videos I have been skateboarding for one and a half years and you got me into skateboarding 🤘
i just started skating because of braille, and this kind of videos makes me want to learn even more! thanks braille team!
It's nice of Aaron to teach senior citizens too!
LOL, my people
@@brailleskateboarding You're doing great, gramps! :D
It's crazy how much of skating is mental. I'm 32 and I used to skate a lot in my teens and early 20's, had a sponsor, filmed some videos. It has been about 5 years since I stepped foot on a skateboard but now my son is getting to an age where he's interested in skateboarding (2). I took him out the other day and when he lost interest, he just wanted to watch me skate. I could barely ollie correctly and shove its were a struggle. I was always really consistent with kick flips when I was younger so I thought I might as well try one since I was starting to feel comfortable after getting my ollies right. My dudes, I flipped and landed perfectly FIRST TRY...bolts. It's only because I wasn't second guessing myself. I knew I could do them and I was starting to feel good so it wasn't even a question in my mind that I might land it. Truly believing that you can do it is almost as good as actually doing it. The last step to actually doing it is very small if you've got your mind right.
It is!!
I am now exactly in her same situation, skated as a teen, never landed a trick, got terribly frustrated, stopped for 15 years and now I am 30 and just yesterday landed my first shuvit, awesome feeling! I will definitely go for more now, all thanks to this kind of videos :D
i love this kind of video from braille. this is why i wont give up to try skating. THANKS!
This is great !! I love your videos
Thank you
This is very inspiring to new skaters and new skaters who are older such as myself.
Yooo! Yall needa make this like a new series, like help her start learning a new trick slower and slower. Id be a awesome video for people to learn along side as well, let viewers be able and her as well watch her progression as a skater over time.
james parmar unfortunately she didn’t seem like she was n it for the long haul there, but it was a cool inspirational video. He should invite more random older skaters to learn a new trick or something they’ve never landed more often though for sure
If she wasn't just here on vacation we 100% would make Mia's rode to sponsorship a series
@@brailleskateboarding Wow!! I would love to!!! 😍😍😍

Video or it's not real
I got back on the board by just watching you guys have a bunch of fun at the skatepark lol
Inspiring. The shove-it was one of the first things I was able to do on a board. You guys should do some basic tutorials for people that own penny decks too.
I'm also 33 and returned to skateboarding after 20 years! Its the best thing ever!
So relatable!
Love it especially as I am learning basic tricks as well
I did the same !! 10 years gap and returned just now with 32y you guys are awesome

The braille house emanates so much positivity ⚡️♥️
I'm 14 and I learned so much about skateboarding it's so much fun thanks guys
Loooove these teaching vids
Aaron, I recently taught my neighbour's kid to ollie using your steps & he got it pretty quickly stationary but couldn't get it moving at all. I took him back to his garage & put a 2x4 flat under the board close to the rear truck & told him to ollie over it. First try he landed rear wheels on it but made it consistently after that & I noticed he was really pushing his front foot forward to guide the board over the wood. Next rolling ollie we tried, he nailed it using the same method & said having the visual guide of the 2x4 really helped him understand what to do when the board wasn't just going straight up & down. Maybe something to help others struggling with moving ollies 👍
Wow that is awesome, nice work helping the next generation learn. I will remember that trick
Braille you guys are super kool group of guys and girls I’m 30 years old I use to skate in high school after watching you guys for a few year now I just want to let your guy know keep up the good work. 💯💯💯💯

12 years ago I quit skating after a sponsor dropped me and my body just couldn't take any more injuries. I still kickflip in my dreams at night. After watching all of these awesome braille videos, I'm really thinking of picking up a board again. This time I'll do it just for fun. Maybe one day I'll take a mini trip to the braille shop. Love the vids guys!

I'm 28 and I just started skating again, pretty much went through the same steps as her, any new skaters out there. Just practice jumping on the board or rolling it and jumping on it. It will make you SO much more comfortable doing any trick
Im 28 i used to skate all my life until I turned 24. I got kidney failure and am on dialysis, and it caused nerve damage in my feet and i can no longer feel my feet yet the nerves are extremely sensitive. Watching your videos makes me want to find a way to get back out there skateboarding again.
