I have the Fat Bob. The fuel tank size is fine for your 3 hour ish weekend riding. COuld be a bit bigger for touring but I dont mind stopping every couple hours to stretch the legs anyway.

If I had to choose...I'd go Fat Bob. Partially because it isn't "as common" as the LRS. Kind of one of the reasons why I chose my Sport Glide. It is one of the best all around bikes Harley makes! Inverted forks, quick detach bags and fairing, cruise, and ABS out the box! People sleep on it!
Show up to bike night...in the crowd of Road Glides, Street Glides, Street Bobs etc...it stands out!

The mustang seat with the back rest and passenger separate seat is the best seat money can buy for fat bob .it feels like I am riding in my recliner going down the road .most people head for saddleman but forgot about mustang seats . Thing is a hot rod caddy no doubt about it .i just got the same two post engine gaurd installing it now . And the Mephis shades handgaurds make it a gen x accessory approved . I have the windshield want paint it the dark grey and give it the Harley orange pin stripe with black windshield

Both Rides are really cool. I'm a fan of the Low Rider S , but, if Bassani made a 2 into 2 kit for it, I would go with that. And the Vivid Black paint of your ride I would change into the Velvet Black/Satin Black,(?), of the Street Bob.

What are The benefits to the bigger Tires’s on the fat bob?
Does that screamin eagle air intake get in the way of your leg at all? I have the 2018 Fat Bob and find the stock air intake is a bit annoying on long rides as it's kind of in the way of where I rest my leg a bit.
Harley Davidson is also on the breakout tire and of course I think it’s the best looking softail. Lol. Think I’m gonna get that crash bar also for my Breakout.
Fat Bob is a great bike. I've test ridden it twice. Biggest complaints can be fixed with aftermarket parts. I'll have to try the Low Rider S next time

I'm a total fan of the Low Rider S BABY....... MK87 that 3.5 tank can you swap it out for 5 gal tank?
Check out the quad lock wireless charger, it gives you a low profile mount and you don’t have to worry about plugging a cable into your phone every time.
I've got the 2018 fat bob, I've had to change the rear shock once already due to not being able to alter the firmness. The remote knob seized up, I've now done less then 2,000 miles on the replacement shock and now that too has seized up, so when I get it replaced that will be its 3rd shock since I've bought it. I love the look of the tyres the bike comes with but trying to get replacements is impossible, I ordered a new set last Oct, I finally received a rear tyre at the end of January this year, couldn't get a front tyre, having already paid for the rear I had to buy a complete set of new tyres, I went for the Avon cobra chrome's and though they don't give the bike that aggressive look they out perform the stock tyres in every way, fantastic in the wet, it's just a shame that about the original Dunlops as they were excellent for a harley tyre. But I think I'll be sticking to cobra chrome's from now on. At 4,500 miles I had two warped front discs, in all the years I've been riding bikes I have never had that problem before, they wouldn't cover it on warranty and so it cost me over £550, I think that's about $600. I've also had to replace the instrument gauge on warranty as it was streaming up, now the replacement is streaming up. The latest problem was the regulater stopped working at 9,750 miles, again I've never experienced that problem in other bikes with so little mileage. I do live the fatbob but having problem after problem gives me a gutted feeling. I've got the stage 3 done on it, I've already had to change the airfilter 3 times, the last airfilter had done less then 2,000 miles and it was ruined by oil pissing out of the bottom of it, that's with the correct amount of oil in it, at £50 a pop it ain't cheap to replace. I was looking at the screaming Eagle airfilter like on the fatbob in your video, I would be want to know if he has any problems with it getting in the way and you answered it for me, I don't think I'll be getting one. I'm also 5'7 and the fatbob is great for my hight. I've also got the memphis shades hand guards and they work really well, I've got the Dougz mini spartan fairing which is smaller then the memphis shades fairing but it gives excellent protection, the one thing I do hate about the bike is the tank size, it's way too small, I'm hoping to swap it over to a 5 gallon tank in the future. 👍👍👍For the video MK, you covered everything that a potential fatbob owner needs to know. Don't be put off by my experience with my fatbob, I don't know anyone else who has had these problems like me. It's still a great bike, handles great in the twisties despite the big front tyre, my bike has 131ftlb of torque which is ideal for pushing it through the curves, I've only got the rinehart slip on mufflers, they give a great deep sound, however I will be changing these for a full 2-1 exhaust, I'll get more power and more torque out of it, it's just deciding which system to go for, great to see them side by side.

Shock makes no sense. The suspension on the new softails are very good. I never saw any issues on th HD forums. I had 12,ooo miles on mine when I put onlins in and the rear stock was still fine.

How do those front quarter fairings fit? Reviews on them say they aren’t to dependable on the mounting??
I haven’t had any issues and the mount is really secure
I have a Doug’s custom on my fat bob, it bolts into the top clamp on the forks. Comes with longer bolts and a spacer, fits perfectly

If the Fat Bob had a 5 gallon tank, it would be no contest; unless you're into Jax Teller cosplay.
Everyone makes a big deal out of the smaller fuel tank size but I own the Fat Bob and find it plenty sufficient. By the time you are needing to fill up, you need to stretch your legs anyway.
two great basis for a project, guys ... do yourself a favor : avoid spending money on useless gadgets and INVEST money on your suspensions ... go legend, go Öhlins , it's up to you ... You'll wonder how important this is for your bike ...
by the way, I've tried the street bob ( 107ci) and the LRS (114), last summer at HD dealership ... it's a world difference ... I have fallen in love with the LRS 114 ... period, unfortunately lack of funding at the moment ...#
but for me, the LRS114 is the way to go !
One additional big diff btwn the 2 is the adjustable preload on rear shock. Low Rider S doesn’t have it. Not a deal breaker. Anyhoo, I am still contemplating on which to get: Low Rider S or Street Bob. I’m an expert rider with a Triumph Striple 765RS as my weekender. I need good brake power/feedback when going fast on twisty highway one. I live in SF Bay Area and sexy curvy backroads are plenty here.
Lowrider s does have. Just under the seat to adjust.
@@peej.w7598 That’s right. I meant the Fat Bob has a knob on the side to adjust. LRS doesn’t have that and, yes, you have to remove seat to adjust. I dunno why HD did that. Wish I know.

I just don't like the front tire and wheel or the rear fender or license plate mount on the Fat Bob. I hate snakes! I wouldn't get within 50 feet of him when he has the snake. Ride safe, stay healthy.

I have the DYNA Lowrider. In not a fan of the soft tail. I like shocks I like the fat original way up forks. But if something happened to my bike. So I had no choice but to get a new Harley it would be the Fatbob 100%. If I was getting another Lowrider s. It would be another DYNA The proper one.
I went with The Fat Bob. The Low Rider S and ST just didn't feel as good as the Fat Bob for my style of riding.
