Love the videos bro. Comparing the FXLRS to a Street Bob are the type of videos a lot of new riders look for when making the choice on which bike is best to suit his/her needs. I was also going to upgrade from my Sportster 48 to a Street Bob however, at the dealership I caught a glimpse of a vivid black 2020 Low Rider S, I fell in love and made her mine. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.

The LRS on the other hand with the dual disks and the shorter wb...maybe my mind is made up. Clearly you can make them look exactly the same almost so look at base model to base model because the mods are where your money is going to go.

Main reasons for lowrider of the street bob is the gas tank. Im a bigger guy and the lowrider just feels like it has more room. To me these two bikes felt incredibly different from each other! I rode 4 different softails and the SB was the least impressive to me. I thought the handling kinda sucked on it? The slim was a huge surprise to me! That bike handles really well. But the FXLRS is the bike if you want handling. I agree completely about the 107 though! I rode one stock and it was great. I rode another with a stage 1 and it was really, really, nice! I feel like the 107 with a stage 1 pulls harder than my stock 114.

I just sold my 2019 Street Bob for a 2020 Low Rider S. As soon as you ride the FXLRS you immediately feel that it's a direct upgrade. Handling is negligible. The FXBB is slightly better. Power is also negligible. The FXLRS is more powerful but the FXBB weights less so it feels just as torquey. Handling on both bikes felt similar. Street Bob felt marginally better. The gauge cluster on the FXBB is far superior to the FXLRS. In fact, as soon as they make a flush mount tank console for the FXLRS I'm going to replace the FXLRS gauge cluster with the FXBB digital gauge cluster.
I don't like the sissy bar on the FXBB. It's way too high. Top Hand Ventures makes a much better bar.

you have to get an ironworker to widen the custom made sissy bar because the low rider s fender is wider than street bob. the harley made sissy bar fits both bikes because you can stretch it. i just went through that exact thing last week.

Another great video. Love the Lowrider but the single reason I'd chose the Street bob is the god awful monstrosity of the gauges on the Lowrider. Such a shame. Like they literally forgot about the gauges and last minute went, ah shit guess we better stick them here on this raised plastic piece of shit.

I was 2.5 hours from home Saturday when my helmet cause too much pressure to my right ear. It was like I had an ear infection I was afraid my balance would be affected if it went on so I took off for the house. I rode 100 miles at 90-95mph and the other 100 at between 100-110. Thank God not a single cop. Low Rider S just purred at 100, front end was on RAILS. Lane split for the first time ever a semi and 2 cars at about 85/90. Again, on rails. No problems at all. Trust me. The Low Rider S PERFORMS worlds better at speeds. The inverted front end on the LRS is incredibly accurate and stable. The power in 5th and 6th at highway speeds is also incredible. The rear tire of the S is also much wider, lending to better traction which has saved my ass twice. The abs saved me twice too.

Jennifer Cuellar stock ergos of the LRS are better as well but that can be changed of course. The gas tank was a major bullet point for me as well. All that said, if you landed on the Street Bob, you’d still be winning. It’s a NICE bike. They’re BOTH NICE bikes.

just traded my 2019 street bob for the 2020 low rider s. reasons were first larger gas tank, the street bob had little to no rear brakes, spoke wheels and tubed tires could not except fix a flat, and performance on street bob is weak compared to lo rider s. not saying street bob is not good for some riders because it might because it definitely had the looks and the wife said my low rider s looked like an old mans motorcycle especially since it is gray. well i am an old man at 70 so maybe she knows what she is talking about. but my advice is get the 2020 low rider s straight from the beginning it might not have movie star looks but buddy does it perform in speed, braking, handling, and comfort it does not make the back sore like the street bobber. okay nuff said take care and stay safe.
