Whoa Mamma!! This beauty is headed straight to the top of my short list! Already got some floats for it, too!
Can’t wait to see my wife’s expression when it credit card bill hits.
This plane looks like it’s worth a few nights on the couch, though. 👍🏼
Short list...
bprc.me/FMS_Cessna182
yes, got it ;) Great list, Al - loved it!
Clearly this is a Canadian registered C-182. Thanks for all the relentless giggles.
LOL - exactly!!!
I noticed that too. Lol. First order of business on mine is a new tail number
@BrianPhillipsRC I ordered this plane through your link and can I use a 4s 3300mah 50c battery and be safe
@@jonathanlawson4667 Brian typically doesn’t see replies in the replies. I did check the FMS website and it says you’ll need “• 4S 2200mAh-3200mAh 25c XT60 LiPo Battery” That tells me you’ll be fine as far as the ESC is concerned. The C rating on your battery is better than the minimum. Just make sure you get the correct CG. Happy flying!!!😃
@@offylibertylover4868 thankyou
Flew behind on tow our Cessna 182 most often. A great towlane!
Suggestion: Put a drop of CA in each of the screw holes in the ply rails that hold the battery tray... BTW another great vid...
Brian, those screwdrivers you have are awesome! I think this is the first time I paid attention to the screw driver caddy. Would you mind sharing where you got them? I found a few on Amazon but if at all possible I’d like to buy an entire kit.
Thanks for the information 👍 your the best !!
Brian.... I just came across your channel....great video. I'm considering getting one of these. Thanks
Best RC channel on youtube.
Naw... Captain Drone
Fly it alongside Eflite Micro one just like u did with Sabres
Eflite & no-one makes hi Qdetailed micro models like Eflite micro Cessna anymore, esp considering the price it was sold for...It was golden age of RC
Haha love the way no what !cheers
thanks, I think ;)
Plastic parts always tend to become brittle & bind with age, especially when exposed to outside weathering. Solution: A small dab of petroleum jelly/vaseline prior to any initial assembly. Nose cone spinners, (when replacing broken prop. blades), should not be a disassembly nightmare. "Remember, A little dab will do ya."
Very interesting!
Brian- do you have a 'cheat sheet' or a summary of the NX setup like you just covered in this video? I am trying to follow along and make notes, but it would be great to have a written spreadsheet or something to refer back to.
Good job and thanks,
Bill C
What a beauty🔥
Awsome love it
It is really good!
Graphite works grate also.
Top 👍🏻
Brian, again, LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! One of the other guys posting videos about this plane has included a coupon code, do you have one also?
We do! You can always find our most current coupon codes on our website:
www.brianphillipsrc.com/coupons
Looks like you could use code: BrianPhillips OR FMS25NR
Hope that helps!
if you dont know how it works, force it. if it breaks it needed replacing anyway.
Foam I really miss balsa
I wonder if the wheels/tires are the same size as the cirrus 1.5M… theyre foamies. Do you have a cirrus to compare contrast the wheels @brianphillips?
I have them, but the cirrus is in our shipping container at the moment, and construction in our "dungeon" (AKA Basement) is making it hard to get to these planes now.
@@BrianPhillipsRCif i get the Cessna ill try it with my cirrus and see how they compare.
Perfect scale other than the RS-232 ports. 🤣
Hob big are the wheels, for strating from grass?
I dont know if i want this or the super timber now. My TTE is showing signs of fatigue. Haha
I love this plane, but if you're trying to replace the TTE 1.5m - just get the Super Timber 1.7m and thank me later - bprc.me/Timber
Don't hear this comment wrong...I actually LOVE this Cessna 182, and for ME - I kinda prefer it, but that's because is does exactly what I love to do...low and slow, scale looking flight. It CAN get crazy, if you wish, but the Super or even TTE are way more capable in that arena, and replacing your TTE with THIS will or may leave you wanting.
My most correct answer, as I'm famous (or notorious) for sharing... BOTH ;)
bprc.me/FMS_Cessna182
@@BrianPhillipsRC i plan on getting both actually, just a matter of which ill end up getting first. My son lives the TTE but im more of a scale flyer myself.
Please tell me its going to be released with the spektrum 637t soon haha looks and flies great.
Nope. :) All of the FMS offerings are PNP (Plug and Play) or RTF (Ready to Fly) with their proprietary receivers. You'll need to provide your own receiver for any FMS plane you buy, but an AR637T would be a great choice for this one!
bprc.me/AR637T
Spektrum is technically a "competitive" offering. ;)
Hey Brian I think the Reflex is optional on this airplane
It is. We figured that out later, but were all confused when we saw the new logo on the box. :)
I really doubt this plane needs any help with any kind of gyro stabilization unless its your very first time flying anything. I dont have any of that on any of my planes but i got started before they were common place.
Why don't you cut the zip ties so you can repurpose them?
LOL - Exactly!!!!!
THE REFLEX IS UNDER THE GREEN BOARD ??
Nope, it's optional in this plane. We were confused since it had the new Reflex logo on it, but it doesn't come preinstalled. ;)
You guys still haven’t figured out how to get rid of that noise from the wheels? Lol a Few drops of thick silicon oil shuts them up perfectly!! you’re welcome now go ahead and get rid of that noise. You guys looking silly out here.
the spinner design is a bad idea , .i will be impressed when they do a bonanza and Barron around the same size
Yeah, it's too easy to break ;) LOL (don't want to give anything away)
@@BrianPhillipsRC yeas as i figured ???
It’s not instructions, it’s distractions
Right!
Can anybody give a review after he spends most of the video not using the provided instructions?
FMS planes are pure garbage. Every plane I buy has had problems. This Cessna had servos that didn’t work out of the box. I’ve had major issues with these planes. I will never buy fms again. Not to mention their customer service will not respond to me about the problems.
