Why does a supposed x-44 matter to anyone? It can be no more than a footnote in fighter development. Real NGAD prototypes have been flying for 2-3 years now, according to the Air Force.

Still reverse engineering the craft we have on hand to the understanding of our current understanding of perhaps thousands of years into the future works. We do not have the mental technology or the material technology to develop such devices in which to have a breakthrough or an advantage.
