The one from the Bad Batch.
The Super Tactical Droid who tried to stop the D-Squad from getting ahold of the inscription Module, and then high jacked a Republic Cruiser and filled it with Rhydonium.
General kalani
Thing is, the tactical droids were always right about the odds. The Republic forces were just beating the odds.
The tactical droids' main weakness was their inability to account for unexpected or unpredictable variables. Jedi force powers, clone adaptability and creativity, environmental factors.
Along with accounting for mobs of hostages bum rushing them and tearing them apart out of anger.
Han Solo: Never tell me the odds!

@@puresceptile4836I don’t know if this is a joke but in space there is nothing drag
@@joyhoward6105Yeah that's the joke. The ship's sensors picked up some "drag", which was some clones jumping onto the hull. The b1's reported it as drag, and the tactical droid asked "You were experiencing drag....in the vacuum of space..." and he immediately went and investigated cause he's smart enough to know that's not how that works.
They add to the joke later when the clones board the ship the b1's say "Hey! Now we're experiencing turbulence!"

@JC130676 not quite. The Cylon voices were made with a vocoder, these droids sound like they use a ring modulator, like the Daleks from 70's doctor who, with additional filters :)

11:13 this single line destroyed any defense the sequels had for arching plasma shots, running away from ships and "dropping" bombs in space.
I think you mean "sequels"
@@colbywidener7092yeah he def meant sequels lmao especially TLJ
1) The arching shots is strange, I'll admit, but it's just the classic rule of cool, which has always been a thing in _Star Wars._ No need to get so angry about it.
2) Small ships running away from large ships has been a feature of this franchise ever since the first scene of _A New Hope._
3) Not only have bombers been around since the first film, but the fact that there's supposed to be no drag in space is exactly why the bombs would work! They're dropped within the ship, which has artificial gravity, and once they've left the ship they just keep moving downwards.
@PerovNigma 1) No precedent por arching shots, and the rule of cool only applies when it's within the boundaries of the stage. Arching shots in the ground? That is cool, straight shots,or hell, even horizontal arching shots in space? Also cool. That wasn't cool, it was wierd and made anyone with little intelligence go, "Huh?"
2) completely different shots, one is a small ship with better acceleration running away from another ship that wasn't even trying to destroy it.
3) Ywings shoot their bombs straight, not down and there is no point in doing a scene so dumb without some small exposition about why, at least a small "Engaging artificial gravity in Bombay!" Quote would save the scene and people wouldn't have to constantly theorize why.
@@virgilio6349
1) I agree, I just don't think it's worth getting upset about. Ships "fall" in space all the time, so it's just something the franchise likes to do.
2) They're similar enough situations. The smaller ships must have better acceleration, because the First Order doesn't just catch up to them straightaway. General Hux decides to slowly pursue, because the shields are too strong yet he knows they can't last forever, and he says in the film that the _Supremacy_ will keep firing occasional shots just to intimidate them.
3) My mistake, the Y-Wings do shoot forwards. However, I think the bombers in TLJ are easy to understand.
Rose's sister lies on a metal platform that looks exposed to the vacuum of space, but she doesn't die. Ergo, there must be artificial gravity and an invisible forcefield that keeps the air in (we've known that both of those exist since _A New Hope,_ with the Tantive IV and the Death Star's hangar respectively). Once the bombs drop around her, they must pass through this invisible forcefield, and they continue moving downwards in the vacuum, because there's no drag or debris to impede them. Makes perfect sense, I understood it first time.
13:19 "For the last time i require your services...
Roger-roger"
7:10 this droid is clearly not trying to harm kenobi. It's unarmed and begging for help. If that's not proof that Republic really doesn't care about surrendering/not fighting enemies (no matter if organic or not) I... actually have a few more examples

favourite tactical droid moment... when ashoka attacks the super tank with a grenade, and the tac droid in all it's logic stands there and says the tank is impervious, then the grenade explodes, tank is unaffected, as it says, but it blows up standing next to the grenade in all it's confidence and borderline hubris, seems weird to say hubris as a droid, but it reflects their personality also, highlights their limitations, not sure how to define it, maybe some sort of lateral thinking, but it just didn't consider it's own survival while commending the power of the super tank...
