      Paladins have to be the biggest crybaby playerbase. They have so much utility already and were even given CR. Let us enjoy a horse

      While it is a bit annoying, we get talents that buff our mobility too, not to mention you guys really need a buff to mobility.

    I only hope they change defile into a talent that just turns our D&D into an aura. That would solve the only problem I see with this tbh. Defile causes too much ground clutter, and I don't wanna try to keep a 10 second ground CD up at all times if it doesn't move with me. D&D should just naturally give the 8% mastery, or remove it entirely since we already have too many buffs to keep track of as it is.

      I have been talking about this with a friend a lot recently as well. I be Dropping my D&D and the tank always pulls out of it. :)
      I have have several ideas for fixes to a new D&D. Either have all DK D&D work, (like you drop a D&D and I can benefit off of it too) or do a Remorseless Winter Style AoE that follows the player.
      Edit: I keep forgetting how busted Mograine will be for this reason, I have read these Hero talents several times, I'm coming back from a 6 year WoW break at the ass end of DragonFlight JUST for these Hero Talents lol

    I’m reeeeally hoping breath gets reworked. Imagine it being a passive ability that activates when you hit max runic power. Then it just starts draining your RP fast until zero. It would make using it in mythic+ and raid way less punishing, and create a unique gameplay loop. Random idea I’ve had for awhile but I would be thrilled with that

      yeah until you hit the last mob in a pack and it caps your rp and it starts....not a very good change, its not hard to activate it yourself

    One thing that noone seems to notice/mention about death charge is that since it is a DA replacer you will lose the passive effect of DA. Just saying that it is something to keep in mind in case we get any future fights/areas that keep everyone at crawling speed (like phase 1 Sire Denathrius for example).

    Theme is simply incredible. I wonder tho, why they spawn when we're spending runes. Should be tied to Apocalypse (duh!) - you spawn your ghouls and mages, Death Door should spawns next and one of the Riders would charge into the frey on the horse!

    Just turn dnd into a applied to target spell. Like a disease, but like an aura, where you can apply it to your tank or mob.

    The most easy way to fix Death and Decay problem is change it from zone on the ground to aura, wich will be around your character when its active

    I love this already, they look back at Legion and decide that the Deathlord need to be able to call upon his 4 horsemen. This is really good and lore wise put them to use rather than sitting and doing nothing at Acherus collecting dust.

    Oh man, fighting side by side with the 4 horsemen, make the spec Rider of Apocalypse my favorite. Buuuuuuut, I want to see a remodel more actual of the Acherus Deathcharger, or had the option to mount Invincible, Midnight or more options of undead horses. If the races already have their legacy armor, why not have a better mount according our class, more badass??

    First off, I do love the theme, they nailed it. The gameplay on the other hand, there's a few things that concern me assuming that non of the DK class or spec trees receive any major changes or updates. Unholy first, the 4 Horsemen summon being tied to Army concerns me for fight with downtime and M+, if Army stays at a 8min CD with a CDR talent, that is gonna feel pretty bad and will just result in less Horsemen in dungeons and long downtime fights, having the 4 horsemen show up when you summon an army of ghouls is really cool, but not if you can only do it once every 5-6 minutes vs every 2:30-3 minutes. The CDR on Unholy blight is a bit weird since that's primarily taken in AoE, but I can see it being fun for ST as well, will definitely be more interesting then hitting Virulent every time to refresh diseases. Frost now, all the resource stuff scares me that this tree is going to be significantly better for Breath then Oblit, again, assuming those talents remain unchanged. I'm someone that despises Breath right now and will only do Oblit, and I'm terrified this won't feel good on Oblit, or will just be trolling if you run it with Oblit. I pray that most of my fears and concerns are short lived and that there is stuff being changes for Unholy and Frost that will make this tree feel great. Its also a bit weird that 4 of the talents in the tree are just used to buff up the horsemen, but that's kind of whatever.

    My only complaint would be about the pale horse talent…I wish it said something like “usable with any undead mount” like using Invincible would be SO BAD ass than your normal DK mount.

    Kinda wish this was blood/unholy and frost/unholy had it where (for unholy) you used army you summoned additional iced zombies like in the wotk trailer that had their own remorseless winter around them that acted like the destro infernals immolation aura, while for frost when you used frostwyrms fury after sindragosa blasts the field she lands and uses her own breath of sindragosa for 15 to 20 secs. Feeding into the frost/unholy theme of frost and zombie summoning ideas

    There are specs for UH that does not even run Unholy Blight, like the pure ST raid build. Does 15 secs on the CD make it more valuable in these builds? does it matter that it will desync from the 45sec CDs DT and Apoc?

    Would like to see breath turn into a normal spender, similar to shadow priest mind sear. It would make frost much more flexible being able to turn it on and off

    With blight going to thirty seconds, you essentially get 3 blights per unholy assault. It could be something like blight, 15 seconds later, DT,Apoc, 15 seconds later, blight. Then they all line up for assault window. Though where the damage of a isolated blight beats the sync that we current have

    I am loving rider of the apocalypse it feels strong as well as fun. For DnD/defile I am hoping for an aura or maybe keeping it like it is but moving with us.
    The random horseman is a bit weird and have to see if it will be random or in a pattern of 1234 all the time. All n all I am excited for it.

      I don't see them changing DnD in that way. Probably either get a buff on yourself that let's you cleave for the duration of DnD or a debuff on enemies hit by it.

    DnD should be an applied to target spell. If dnd is turned into an aura on the dk, you will still have problems with keeping mobs in it. Example: your tank pulls a huge group of mobs, you cast dnd aura and at that moment you get a de buff spell that requires you to run out of group, or some affix is cast to where you have to run away from grouped mobs. Dnd is ruined. Or your tank pulls a mob group, you cast dnd on one of the mobs, most likely the one with the most health, the mob target has dnd aura now and then you can run out if situation calls for it, keeping your dnd in the mob group causing damage. If dnd is turned into a target applied aura, they could even make the spell to where you can cast it on your tank, healer, other dps or mob. This would fix the issue.

    Why don't you want infinite breath? I feel like I love this build except the time in-between breaths. I hope they either change it somehow or make it infinite? Is that bad?

    I'm really hoping frost gets a rework. The BOS and obliteration builds both feel so clunky. When I started playing my ret pally it felt so nice having every spell feeling impactful, not just waiting for my cds to come up so I can actually do something. I still play frost for the theme though. I also want to be able to stay 2 handed as I think it fits the idea behind frost better than DW.

    Mawsworn Menace is the talent that makes the tree for me. I know that they are addressing D&D but that talent is 100% uptime for D&D and Blight.
    My concerns as an unholy player is a question of whether or not the Riders will be affected by our mastery.
    My guess is that the Riders will work a lot like Pips, where you’ll get 100% uptime and they’ll swap frequently.
    It’ll be interesting to see how they change the talent trees.
    Really hoping they make our execute baseline, put superstrain where the execute is and bring back little abom for Unholy.
    They’ve shown they are fine with double grip now, so adding a 3rd should be fine.

    Necrotic plague is kind of back, I really liked it back in WoD 🥳 I would have preferred to have seen it as a player ability rather than on Whitemane, due to the horsemen RNG.
    Linking Apocalypse Now to Unholy’s Apocalypse ability would have also been better. If they don’t change it, let’s hope we see a flat cooldown reduction from Army of the Damned for Army of the Dead.

    Undoubtably, this is the best theme of all the hero talent trees. I hope the Death & Decay change plus the lack of reference to wounds means there's going to be a DK rework going into TWW. Remove wounds, rework D&D, and put a time limit on BoS.

      Yeah, wounds has failed as a design. Which is a shame, but right now it feels like the old awful combo points only they do nothing. Wound builds haven’t really been worth it the entire expac.

      @@SatansRoyalBoner quadratic scaling from aoe wounds builds was always awesome, but it only worked if your tank was in on the plan. The only synergy was with Apocalypse.

    I'm super excited, just hope it's not all hype and does poorly and end up needed buffs or plays to clunky. Alot of room for blizzard to mess it up. This is like the best hero talents in term of design and fantasy that I can see every dk playing it, he'll even blood players are asking for it to be switch so they can use it lol. It just means this spec will have all the spot light for fixes and people wanting changes on it so it doesn't go from being op to underperforming. On paper it sounds amazing ghouls on top of magus on top of gargoyles on top of horsemen. It sounds almost too good to be true in terms of people want it to be good. I just don't want it to be like shadow priest where it got reworked, rebuffed, renerfed, ref*cked, to rebuffed, to reworked again...I feel like it's going to be thay roller-coaster spec in this expansion

    I like everything on this, my worry is that all the buffs to diseases. This will make Popping wounds pointless and something we ignore. Only time will tell.

    They should get rid of Glacial advance and replace it with frostscythe - make it aoe RP spender, bake all things GA does into it, such a cool looking ability, such a waste!

    Deathbringer tree is full Obliteration optimised. I rather worry that Breath is not going to be a thing, because this tree barely supports Breath

    its really sad that some talents are either balanced for oblit or for breath... if u make runic power cost too low breath will bee too op, if u leave at where it is it will be too much for oblit
    its about time we say goodbye to breath i hope

    As much as I am happy with my little ponies and power of friendship, I fear DK becomes even more CD/PI/Lust dependent with this tree. I thought dev specifically designed S3 to avoid this dangerous trend. We were Godslaying level with PI and street thug level without it. Also, the Saly'n talent is a huge letdown. They didn't explore the "plague knight"/melee dot class further, instead, they added another "XXstrike" button to our already bloated rotation.

    i actually hate BoS gameplay, so punishing if you have to move a lot, i'd be happy with it becoming like remorseless winter and not having such an annoying restrictive gameplay requirement. Currently it's only for single boss low movement with constant engagement. Very unusable in M+ so if you wanted to raid and m+ you'd need to have an unholy or blood set too.

    I am really disappointed in this Talent Tree, feels like a big Troll to me. Weird RNG Stuff with the 4 Riders.
    The Ice Chains from Troll Bane are already a out for me, because of Sanguine in M+, will probably be a Raid Tree.
    The Death and Decay rework could make a big change, the amount of Tanks who don't know how to play with a DK ist just too much.

      my thought on release of the tree was "left side m+, middle raiding, right side pvp most likely" (for unholy) only time will tell and sanguine isnt up every week FeelsShrugMan
