Will this fit on a California emission lb7? I’m not in California so I don’t have to worry about smog or anything like that.
This kit is designed for use on the federal emissions trucks. At this time we don’t unfortunately have a CA emissions specific version of this product. If that changes at some point in the future you can be sure we’ll talk about it here on the channel.

Thanks! We actually just released our LBZ Stage 1 Bundle kits to the website. Be on the lookout for a video on those in the coming weeks. For upgraded intercoolers over stock, we often build our own liquid to air setups for pulling applications, but for air to air setups we like to use options from Banks and Mishimoto here at the shop depending upon the application. Mishi's options retain stock inlet and outlet connections and placements so they are a direct fit with all of our kits designed to use the stock intercooler. Banks options will often require customization because they will often move or change the size of those components to maximize the performance benefits within the available space. What color would you recommend on an 03" Silverado 2500 Crew cab in tan?
A lot of that really comes down to personal preference. For a subtle OEM plus look, try Gloss Black, Flat Black or WCFab Grey. For something in the same color family as your paint, look at Bronze Chrome. For an accent color that pops, check out options like Candy Teal, WCFab Red, or Sparkle Bomber Orange. If for some reason you find the 30+ options we carry for in stock powder colors aren't exactly what you're after, head over to the Prismatic Powders website, but make sure you've got some time on your hands, their selection is insane! Any idea on hp/torque gains with this kit?
Thanks for your question! With everything else we've been working on lately, we unfortunately haven't had opportunity to perform detailed back to back dyno testing for pure bolt on numbers with this particular combination yet. However, it is on our to do list along with completed flow bench numbers, and we'll be sure to share that data when it become available. Bolt on HP gains on a stock truck are unlikely to be something that you'll feel seat of the pants. The primary benefits in that application will be reliability improvements which address known failure points, improved throttle response and turbo spool up, and decreased EGTs like we mention in this video. Our high flow bundle kits are at their best when combined with other complimentary upgrades such as custom performance tuning and larger than stock turbos. A bundle kit will allow you to make more power than you would with a tune or turbo alone due to engine efficiency gains they provide. Those numbers scale alongside other performance upgrades. For example, we HAVE performed back to back testing on the 3.5 in. turbo intake horns included in this kit vs. OEM and know that part in particular, is typically worth a 10 HP gain when used together with a max effort tune. That improves to between 15 and 20 HP when also adding a larger than stock IHI-style turbo, such as a Stealth 64 or Stealth 67. Our air intakes by themselves, when tested on the newer L5P engine for example, have proven to be worth 6 HP as a pure bolt on upgrade over stock in that application. That number jumps to 25 HP with custom performance tuning like the options from Calibrated Power Solutions / Duramaxtuner available for purchase on our website. Hope that info helps give you a better idea of what to expect from our kits. how can I just get the box, bought the kit about 6-8 months ago and a box was not part of the kit at the time.
The air box used on our current generation intakes is unfortunately not backwards compatible with the previous design. Routing and design changes to the intake tube were required to allow everything to work together properly.
