    Will the lmm allow a Banks ram air just curious ?

      Yes, the Banks Ram Air intake will accept the boot connection from our turbo horn for the LMM. If you were trying to put together that combination, look at our Stage 1 bundle (WCF100324), intake horn (WCF100412) and down pipe (WCF100703) as the best way to get the parts that you'll need for that installation.       Final engine mods were not as involved as we had spec'd out at the start of this project. Truck received a Calibrated Power Solutions Stealth 64 Turbo and their Performance Tuning to go along with it. We know that our Exhaust Manifolds, Up Pipes, and Turbo Intake Horns for the L5P Duramax DO also cross to these L5D trucks as well as our 17-19 L5P Fabricated Coolant reservoirs as well. We may still do something in the future with an intake or intercooler piping as well but don't have an ETA for potential release on those items at this time.

      For the present at least, we'd recommend that you'd be money ahead to sell the 2015 LML and search for a comparable 2017-2019 L5P truck to replace it.

However, if you are looking for something a bit more subtle on your build, try selecting the PCTAGSAME option in the powder coat drop downs for the item and we’ll coat our logos the same color as the part so that they don’t stand out as much.

    I bought an upper hose for my 2019 Cummins from yall about 1 year ago just now getting to install it but I lost the hose clamps what is the proper size to replace them with

    Don't waste your time with this thing, super cheap made in china junk. Just 3 weeks in and got a P0089 code and took it out to find the molded metal part around the screen was already coming apart (guessing because of the high pressure, not made for that) so would do you no good even if they just sold you the screen. Soon as i put the OE sensor back in, no more code. I bought another one a year later and not even trying you can destroy the rings that holds the screen with the lightest touch. Absolute junk, i haven't tried any of the disaster prevention kits yet, i've just been always using additives like extreme lubricity, better than worrying about the screen parts coming apart. If they were using the OE part (BOSCH 1462C00998, made in Germany part) and made the metal parts holding the screen better that could hold the pressure, i could see this working, but they're just using cheap china junk and charging 3 times what you can buy the Bosch part for xD, this is honestly beyond embarrassing.

We don't have any order history of you purchasing this Exergy part from us directly in our system and do want to make folks aware that there are knockoffs of this product out in the market from Chinese companies that don't have any experience with the application or any of the R&D that Exergy have put into this. If you're not buying this product from an authorized Exergy dealer you may very well not be getting a genuine Exergy product. They've posted about companies misrepresenting knockoff products on marketplaces like Amazon. We run Exergy fuel system components on both of our competition trucks and regularly in our shop and can assure you that Exergy uses genuine Bosch components and that the assembly of their system savers occurs at their facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. If you have any specific questions about how to identify a genuine article System Saver from a knockoff part or to verify a dealer as an authorized source for their product, please give them a call at 616-551-4330.

      The Sierras have a lower profile hood than the Chevy HD trucks of the same year which causes an interference with this part. We are investigating options for the GMC trucks but don’t have a timeline for a GMC specific part release at this time.

    Curious Did they make a 2015.5 to 2016 version yet since coolant line was smaller then the supposed 2015 fluid hookups and had send 1 back cause wouldn't fit

      The location of the thermostatic bypass valve changes on the 20+ Duramax trucks. It moves from the block shown in this video to a location inside the 10 speed transmission.       Yes, this kit can absolutely be installed on the 2003 and early 2004 models, but you will need to update your exhaust system front pipe to the later 2004.5-2007 style so that it will have the correct flange to adapt to our supplied down pipe. Everything else will cross over correctly.     Hate to be that guy to ask lol but I’ve built a few LS trucks one of them being my beast 89 ext cab but my a dream build for me has been to build a late 90s K3500, finally got my hands on a clean 96 crew cab long bed single wheel K3500, dream is to run newer duramax drivetrain in it I’ve seen guys that make mounts for older duramax but I’ve been looking into running a newer L5P so that being said what about some mounts for that setup?

      We are working behind the scenes on some other Duramax swap parts that we aren't quite ready to talk about yet, but will say that we haven't specifically had one of those 90's trucks through our shop yet so nothing in the works on that platform specifically at this time.       These trucks definitely respond well to tuning! A lot of untapped potential in stock form. We love the combination of performance and drivability in the Calibrated Power tune package that we're running in this truck currently and will talk about that in a bit more detail in future videos.

    Could you share the part number for the engine drive air compressor and it's location on the engine ? Thanks

      Unfortunately not near the truck at the moment, but from memory it's located on the passenger side of the engine off the accessory drive. Air dryer is nearby on passenger frame rail and the air tank can be found under / behind the cab on the driver side near the battery box. No idea on the compressor part number off the top of our head, but think it's tied to RPO's KUT and JPY.

      @WCFab thank you for the reply. I have been saving for the kelderman air suspension kit, but before committing to a specific air pump kit I wanted see the differences between the kelderman air pumps and the engine driven oem one.

      Currently there are no options for HP4 stroker pumps on the market. This kit uses readily available pump technology to provide additional fueling for builds capable of making power beyond what the stock L5P fuel system can support.

      This kit specific to the LBZ and LMM Duramax equipped 2500 and 3500 trucks and unfortunate is not compatible with the Kodiak models.

    So with this kit i heard in the end you can keep the 6 speed trans. So what ecu and engine harness would you have to use. Is it really as simple as it sounds or is it a lot more. Please list components needed if you will.

      It's far from the turn key swaps that everyone is used to with LS engines today, but can be done. With these mounts things get one step closer. Our '02 pull truck runs a Bosch standalone motorsport ECU and a manual gearbox. We also know that there are Motec standalone options capable of controlling the new 10 speeds available through S&S like in Keith Porter's L5P swapped pickup that we've featured on this channel. In terms of what's required to pull a salvage yard L5P and 6 speed Allison and drop it in turn key to an 01-10 truck, we don't have a complete parts list to provide at this time. If we have enough interest in these engine mounts, and Duramax swaps in particular we may explore making / offering more items to help with that process in the future.

      I’m really interested in swapping the l5p for my 04 lb7. Found the mounts here and the harness, but haven’t found anyone who’s done it yet. Thoughts?

      @@jpardy1 we've L5P swapped our '02 Pull truck which runs with a Bosch motorsport standalone ECU. We've also converted a number of other customer projects to run Duramax diesels. If you've found a wire harness and someone to assist with ECU tuning and have a set of our engine mounts, you're a good portion of the way there. We'd advise looking at a 6 speed Allison option rather than the 10 speed purely for parts and tuning support (as well as not requiring driveshaft shortening and other mounting modifications). Also be aware that intake and piping will require custom work under the hood. If it's not something that you want to tackle yourself, give us a call at 630-277-8239 and ask to speak with our service writer about our team's expertise with helping perform Duramax swaps in customer builds.

    Why doesn’t this work on a CA emissions truck? It replaces the factory Y bridge so it should be good to go?

      This product is designed for fitment with the components specifically found on a Federal emissions LB7, there are variances in the CA emissions truck which prevent these parts from being directly compatible.
