  • After an absolute stinker of a week where we have been flat out 8AM-6PM for 6 days straight our little Sebo Duo has taken an absolute beating.
Please excuse the crude video, it’s not my fortè. But There aren’t many videos online for how to clean these properly. So hop fully this helps someone out.
They wouldn’t usually need this much work. Every couple of days I usually give our sebo the once over following the same basics but time just got ahead of me this week.
All you need is an OLD fork please don’t use your other halves best silverware 🙄, Phillips screwdriver, a rag, some bleach/disinfectant in a spray bottle, and some disinfectant in a bucket of hot water.

Thanks for that! Mine is in need of a clean and wasn't sure on the best way to approach it - solved! I just wish Sebo spent some more time on prettifying their stuff. I use a 360 vac as well and it looks fresh from the 80s 🤣

      Cheers Mate!
They’re really easy machines to work onz You don’t always have to take the whole thing apart, I generally just strip all the hair and fluff out of it with the fork every day or two dependant on usage then soak the brushes in a bucket once a month.
Hopefully saves you buying new brushes every few months 😂

Wowwww...how do you remove yhe hair drom inside the brushes themselves that get caught in between the bristles??

That method will remove 95% of all the hair to be honest mate.
The Sebo isn’t the best machine for carpets anyway. We use a truvox multiwash mainly as it’s 4 times heavier and has bigger brushes that don’t clog with hair.
I only use the sebo for dry compound cleaning now or flats without a lift.

    Hi there.
I am interested in the dry carpet cleaning method.
Does it work? Will it deep cleans carpets and upholstery?

      Hi Ruan.
Personally no I don’t think so.
Because you’re never actually removing anything.
For a proper deep clean I would always recommend Hot water extraction.
For maintenance cleans we Either Bonnet Clean or Encapsultion clean.
If a rooms isn’t absolutely awful and just needs a spruce up and the customer wants it dry within 20 minutes then dry cleaning compound is OK at best.
We use our sebo duo to agitate cleanjng chemical into carpets and further remove hair and debris on top of vacuuming.

Have a small 12 volt or battery powered vacuum with you.
