@@jamilasnadman793 I'm sure I may have thought the same thing in the past. He probably would have thought the same about me because I wasn't very a very good student. I had great grades but I just never showed up to class. Music has always been a very important part of my life, but I just wish i'd spent more time on it when I was younger.
I know it might sound cliche and stupid, but if he's annoying you, it's because he legitimately cares. You'll probably laugh at this whole message, but maybe if you read it again or remember it in 10 or 20 years, you'll see what I mean.
I'd gladly take annoying over struggling to teach myself, even if that was the case.

This song climbed up my list of Nightwish favorites and now resides in the top 5, which revolves around which song I'm listening to. Emppu is just wound up in this song, and delivers my all-time favorite Emppu moment, when he hops at the beginning of the breakdown. (You looked down and missed it!). He then transforms into the perfect metal guitar God with the long blonde hair head banging, just WOW! Marco is amazing, and the contrast between his vocals with Floor is stunning. Tumoas and Jukka just lay the perfect foundation on which this amazing structure is built. Yes, Floor was growling while Marco was singing. My favorite "heavy" song for this perfect band. As always, loved your comments, you really enhance the listening of their songs.
You're have liked Emppu in the Wembley show, I think it was Last Ride, for a moment like that when she jumps with him.
In Imaginaerum Tuomas created an epic album a million miles from the Tarja era. In ‘phase three Nightwish’ Tuomas has a singer who can give her take on Tarja tracks, Anette tracks and anything Tuomas can now throw at her directly. Thank you for your detailed insight into this track.
When Annette was singing this, she did a falsetto "scream" for her part of the line ". . . Live As You Scream/Dream" which works well over Marko's growl, then Floor decided to use her growl to go under Marko, and it works just as well.
My favourite thing about this is Floor's soaring legato over Marco's staccato grit. Love it.
Yes, Floor does a growl, often missed.
Edit: oh and the other thing (actually there are many) is in "beautifully shy as you are". Floor's vibrato control through that long note is stunning.
musical genius Tuomas & NW is and then Floor puts the "bow" on the package and wraps it all up like no one else can.

Great reaction ! I love this song, the sheer brilliance of using that creepy children's choir is just awesome. Tuomas put in so many layers in this song and Marko and Floor execute the vocals and harmonies so perfect. Same for Emppu rocking out that nice solo. 🤘❤

Yess, more Nightwish! I'm always happy to get to know their songs better, but need these breakdowns to notice details instead of only the general feeling. Not saying their songs are like background music or anything, but there's so much happening at once that left on my own I miss most of it and just go with the flow. So thanks for these!

@@TheMuserResolute Mm, that's a difficult question at this point! Can't say which ones will be the most popular from the newest ones yet, or even my personal favourites, some of them might still grow on people. Plus I'm not sure if you've heard the ones released as singles over the past months. If not, then The Loneliest is totally worth a listen, but has of course been reacted to quite a lot already.
Out of the others I'd pick Gasoline (written right after the Ukraine war started and directed at Putin, but official version wasn't out until now), Mark Chapman (in Italian regardless of the name, for me the melody and general mood is more interesting than lyrics in this), and If Not For You (mainly for it's style, very distinctive song on this album).
All the songs seem to have their own group of fans already. Got to warn you that this album has quite a lot of stuff not necessarily suited to a family friendly channel, as there's this punk rock vibe going on with some of the songs both in style and spirit. The ones I've suggested should not need any censoring though 😆

Yoo, just found your content and have been binging a lot of your catalogue. I want to suggest a song to you, and I can promise you won't regret listening to it. It's swedish prog from the 90's with an insane lineup of multi-instrumentalists. Its called Kung Bore by Änglagård, you'll find the album on CZcams. They also have a few live performances on CZcams, and just as good. Really hope you'll check them out, they're a hidden gem and will 100% shock you.

Can I just say, first, I love nightwish reactions and yours is really great secondly, I'm sure they told you that yes it's Floor that growls in Yours is an empty Hope. For me this is one of the songs which is most improved live _(Weak_ _Fantasy_ is another). However, even here there are points where I prefer Anette's vocals from the album version - the little responses slipped in during Marko's solo parts ("know why", "come across") really show a particular vocal quality which even the chameleonic Floor can't reproduce. Overall, though, this is the best version IMO. I don't know much musical theory but I can nod along and really enjoy seeing someone knowledgeable break down the composition, glad you're continuing!
