Tyrnhaw 2017 - Slovak HEMA tournament

The biggest Slovak HEMA tournament of the year took place in Trnava on 21.10. 2017. We had Longsword Open, Rapier and dagger and Longsword women categories and participants from Slovakia, France, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland.

Would be great to see the kunst they train in tournaments. But what you see: the higher the "tier" - the lower the techniques, the lower the principles, quality, worst thing - visible so far - no weapon control.. it's like hide-and-seek with blunt weapons. Is there any successful Zufechten? Any Handarbeit? There is absolutely NO Abfechten. Bashing into each other to win. Just hitting each other. What would the old masters say - had their seeds become that kind of deeds? And why?
