    Good clip again. Looks like you've had a lot of fun. Second place is great. Looked like a really hard competition with many skilled fencers.
    Thanks for sharing.

    This is some of the best sparring I have ever seen, someday I hope I will be able to throw true and false edge cuts that fast and still have edge allignment as good as yours

    @Leondrian Thank you. It was very good experience for us. The second place is little bit disappointing because I hope I'm better:) But I have never been fighting so much bouts consecutively before. About 11 bouts in 2-3 hours. I was tired at least 3 days after the tournament.

    @BuscoBeast I have personaly ice hockey elbows, but other members used various sport protective gears. From in-line skateing etc.

    @kohutovic Yes, it's hard to stay focus for such a long time, but one learns a lot by doing some competitions once in a while. 2:nd place is good especially if this is one of your first bigger tournaments. I like the powerful approach you and Martin has while you fight.

    not sure what the guard position is called but why do so many people hold their sword over their shoulder giving their opponent a better advantage to attack when you can force your opponent into a more defensive posture before confrontation even takes place by holding your sword tip towards your opponent. am i missing something here?

    • @AntonKohutovic
      @AntonKohutovic  Před 10 lety

      yes. you are probably. It's called Vom Tag position and it's actually very useful position. You can perform all master strikes from this position in Lichtenawer fencing system.

    If they both had armor yes. But, I'm sure in a large battle that they'd attempt to avoid going to the ground as much as possible.

    If they had armor, there is a good chance there might be a tussle and going to the ground. But yeah, if unarmored enters in to it. fast.
