I'm Black. I've been to Japan several times, and in Osaka (great food over there) the bouncers at many clubs, and establishments would say "No Blacks", but when we would show our passports they would say "ok you can come in". There's a hierarchy of countries for Blacks.

If you asked Japanese people you’d probably get an opposite answer. If anything the whole idea of foreigners coming to Japan is racist. Let me explain. Because of certain historical events and political circumstances, many foreigners treat the Japanese as less than and treat the country like a Disneyland resort, particularly the military personnel.
They are pretty much allowed too much freedom and have done a lot of terrible things. Restaurant and nightclub owners have to pay for the insurance if they cause any tribals and there’s not much they can do as a remedy to this. So in order to avoid having their businesses shut down they would rather just cut their losses and ban foreigners from entering. Again, there are many, MANY establishments that allow foreigners. Focusing on the few that don’t also entry makes you look entitled. Not everyone has to like you and you aren’t entitled to our time just because you come from a foreign country. Many times I’ve had foreigners try and disrespect me and my friends in our own country. I grew up in the west and I can say that you guys are 1000x more racist towards Asians than Asians are towards foreigners in Asia, so quit whining.
Also there’s no such thing as “race” in Asia. You’re either a foreigner or you’re not. So playing the race card here won’t work.

I had a Chinese girlfriend for 12 years, and this guy is spot on, although it is very rare to see the truth spoken about it. She and all her friends, after a few drinks usually, would express their disgust at particularly black races, saying that they were nothing more than 'dirty animals'. They told me that this is the opinion of the Chinese people overall. I did not share their opinion, but it was a bit of a shock as I did not expect such blatant racism from the Chinese. They were also obsessed with staying out of the Australian sun and keeping their skin as light as they could, as the darker skin of the southern Chinese was seen as belonging to the inferior laboring class, in their opinion. Meanwhile I would go to the beach and get a deep tan, but apparently it is ok to be ''sun brown''', as long as you are really a white person. I would love to see these facts all over the western media, but there is as much chance of that as a western politician not being a traitor.

I wouldn’t take her too seriously. Most Chinese don’t believe that. Racist people like her tend to assume that everyone thinks like them, and that their beliefs are morally righteous and somehow an empirical fact. They need to believe this because they have an emotional attachment to these beliefs as it is tied to their ego and self esteem.

Average height of a 20 years old male in Harbin is a shocking 5'11", taller than the average male German that age. Nobody from my home town worships whiteness. Shorter women with tan are considered cuter and more popular. Some women who are "too tall" get complexes and worry about their height. Chinese population center is down in the far south coastal regions, not out in the sticks, so they determine the mainstream cultural attitude. Their large population also consists of a lot of very dark and short men - average male height in Yunnan, bordering Vietnam and Laos, is 5'5."
I can totally believe that. The worst Chinese female racists are those from Taiwan. They may date Koreans, Japanese and Taiwanese men, however they truly worship white guys and absolutely abhor anyone with brown or black skin. I knew one Taiwanese specimen who got dumped by ten different white guys over a one year period and even complained that one of them had the audacity to dump her for an Indian girl.

I’m a dark skinned black dude, I went to Thailand this year and I had a great time overall with the Western Tourists, but when it came to Thai women, they usually wanted nothing to do with me (while they worshipped white guys), so I completely ignored them. I also noticed that the body wash in one of my hotels had a _bleaching_ agent, a lot of staff had tan skin with white make up over it, which looks terrible. I took a cab and the driver said to my friend that she was beautiful because she is white and that I should get cleaned- which was kind of a joke and I didn’t take it personally at all, but it just goes to show the mentality- that was in Chang Mai which is in the North, maybe Bangkok is different but I didn’t stay there long.

But I noticed that the ones who told me they prefer white men were the darker skin Thai girls. A lot of it has to do with money. They assume a white man will provide more for them. Asian girl will never look white/Caucasian no matter how hard they tried; eyes colr change, Rhinoplasty, etc. The main difference in Caucasian and Asian are forehead projection, bone development, eye size, shape and deep set eyes. Most Asians girl have flat recessed skull and maxilla with protruding eyes. These features are extremely hard and almost impossible to change unless they are willing to take the risky, painful route and even if they have it done, it will be uncanny, unnatural and can cause other facial features to be asymmetrical. Majority of Asian girl are unattractive imo but there are stil few exceptions that I find to be extremely beautiful.

I'm a late 50s single black guy from the UK. I've been thinking about possible retirement destinations and decided to visit the Philippines, to see what all the 'passport bros' fuss was about. I spent 3 weeks exploring Cebu, Negros (Dumaguete), Bohol and Luzon (Baguio, Manila).
So will I be retiring there? No. For various reasons. One of which is the general belief in the white ideal. This is clearly evident from the huge stocks of skin whitener creams that are openly available. Indeed, I asked a pharmacy shop assistant if lighter skin is more beautiful, to which she replied "Yes", giving me a look as if to say 'Duuuh!'
W.r.t. the opposite sex, my only positive interactions were with bar girls, who'd sit and chat when offered a drink (i.e. money). Otherwise, I found Filipinas to be very standoffish.
In conclusion, I think the Philippines is a viable option for white or light skinned guys, but for me, as a dark skinned guy, the isolation would be too much.

I don't understand why those Africans go to China to be treated like ish, I don't get it. In my world when I go out and I look for black, white and latino women, I rarely approach asian women unless I know then in a sense, bc I know their preference 99% of the time "any" white guy with a pulse, after that a asian guy, after that a Latino guy. I am not pursuing a group of women that puts me in 4th place, that's just crazy.

My schools were all multicultural in Canada. Playing basketball with some Chinese classmates (who I thought were my friends) I learned that they would call me an idiot in mandarin (ni shi shabi... or something like that). I had top scores in my grade and was a starter on the basketball team. When I learned what they were saying I was pretty offended. I don't have hate towards any race but I know as a black guy I'm not the most popular around the world. Sucks but I have to always work hard to convince people I don't fit their stereotypes.

That's really crazy. I'm a Slavic woman, eastern European and absolutely wasn't aware that people in other parts of the world put WP on a pedestal when it comes to looks. I mean, there are beautiful and less attractive people in every race/ethnicity. Not all WP are beautiful just because they have lighter skin. I stayed year in a brown skin country... what I noticed gradually that I started to see light coloured people as more attractive... I think part of it is that in dark skinned countries every where you looks it seems like endless brown skin but when you see a white face in a sea of brown faces then white skin seems to be a bit of a novelty and seems is rare hence is perceived as more attractive, I'm mainly from a white skin country and over here there's a sea white faces, coloured faces started to look more attractive to me (for the same reasons)... or maybe that's just me

This doesn't just exist in Asia. This exists in the middle east, many parts of Africa and even European countries (mainly southern Europe and balkans).

Well, South Korea is the only east asian country where more foreign women (including a massive number of American European and Russian women) visit for guys than the other way around. In other words while other asian countries have more western passport bros, only South Korea has more 'passport sisters'. Surely it is thanks to K-Pop and K-Drama. It is not uncommon to see AMWF couples in cool downdowns of Seoul lately and definately they are way more common than like 20 years ago.
