This made the news because it is such a rare occurance. And even then only minor injuries. Do you know what doesn't make the news? The 43,000 fatal car accidents every year in the US. Living in a place with extensive public transit already makes it much safer than places that require you to own a car. I know that statistics and facts are difficult for conservatives to grasp, but in believe in you, sport.
