- i've recently moved to Europe from the United States for a student exchange program in Paris and here's a "how to" guide on how i packed everything before leaving! a couple steps following the KonMari decluttering method that anyone can use if they simply want to clean their home - and life. hope you enjoy it & find it useful!

hello everyone, i'm tori!
i am in my third year of college studying in the United States and currently doing an exchange program in Paris, but i'm originally from Bucharest, Romania, where all my family is. i wanted to explore, travel, meet many people and see new parts of the world during my university studies, because i feel this is how you grow the most. i love documenting my journey both through videos here, and the written word on my blog. hope i can inspire at least one of you through my sTORIes (hehe)!

This was so fun and inspiring. I'm moving to Germany for my MSc in a month. I have to pack my whole life in a 23kg luggage, a 12kg carry on and a backpack. I'm starting asap

The folding method has been used in USA and other militaries for ages. I know because I am a US veteran. ❤️

Luckily my job comes with furnished accommodation so I only need to move clothes and personal belongings and store the rest of my things.

Where did you put your books? In boxes or in a luggage ?
I just got a few important books with me but left the rest in boxes in order to ship them! I really had a lot of them haha

@@rinnyea I would recommend either paying for extra luggage in one trip or using 'send my bag' (cheapest company I've found for a couple boxes, rather than a shipping container worth) but tbh, the cheapest is normally paying for extra baggage but compare prices for your specific situation. If the items aren't worth enough to you for the cost of this then just get rid of them... sucks but a reality of international moving.
