I'm so glad you talked about food & needing comfort food. I lived abroad years ago and I learned a LOT about cooking while there because if I was craving something, I had to make it by scratch with what I could find available. I'm getting ready to move abroad again and half of my "take" list is food and kitchen stuff (I do a lot of baking). And also the clothing/shoes is super important depending on where youre moving to. Good quality bras are a must for me. My other big thing are hair & body products. I'm stocking up on the shampoos & hair products I like that I know I wont be able to order once I'm there. I'm moving to a very humid/hot climate with a lot of salt water air. Terrible on electronics so for those moving to this type of climate, I'd suggest getting humidity resistant cases for things like laptops as well a cooling pad to help it last longer. Great video and you reminded me about the vacuum bags! Thanks!

I like to know what company did you use to ship your personal items because that's the problem I'm having right now

For the ziploc bags, do you find that takes you over the weight limit for your suitcases? Trying to plan an international move for my family right now, and looking into packing strategies. Thanks!

I’m not sure how far along you are in the process, but I highly recommend vacuum seal storage bags.
