- This is the most simple, with the fastest response time and the best sim motion experience I ever had in any simulation I have ever tested.
Qubic System have done something I believed for years is NOT possible so the QS-210 motion platform and is made for home use! The sim racing world will never be the same for me in all of my favorite titles like iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2 and all other racing or flight simulators !
Find about the Qubic System- qubicsystem.com/ - Hry
The fact, that your real safetynetis synced to the ingame one, hits me. Amazing!
It is mind blowing how the movements match 😮
Hands down best sim channel on you tube!!!!! I love the way your mind works in such a left of centre and inquisitively creative way.
Much love brother 🍻
Thanks for the kind words 🤗
I have been building motion systems for over 10 years and agree that speed and accurate tracking is very important. After trying many designs including a stewart platform, finished up building a system which is a hybrid (3 x actuators/G systems) with high powered (1.8KW) 500mmsec actuators that are designed to be stationary/dyno bolted to my garage floor. Therefore only the cockpit moves for minimum inertia. For vision: fixed 3 x 4K 50 inch monitors - also have VR with motion cancellation (wit sensor). If I turn the actuators up they can rattle my teeth and re-adjust my spine 🙂. For long sway and surge, I use a active Harness and seat back driven by quiet DC motors. The whole cockpits roll center can also be adjusted. Good to see that you have lowered your seat for a better roll center, as many get this wrong. All the best and for people who can not build their own the cubic system looks the business👍.
I am usually not the guy that comments on a lot of YT Videos, but this one definitely deserves a comment. I am thinking of getting a platform motion system for the past 3-4y (owner of a 2dof seat mover right now) and this system and your concept sounds so interessting. You are actually the first guy I am hearing to say that even though your body is fixed with the seatbelts in a real car, that there is still movement going on, what makes a complete stable system also not 100% accurate and this is also why I kind of like my seat mover system. I am really excited for your build videos and your DIY ideas. Brilliant content as always. Keep up the great work and I really hope to meet you one day on the simexpo, but I couldn't make it this year unfortunately :(
Thanks for the supportive words buddy!
Honestly, the way I set this I personally first time felt totally connected to what is happening and actually understanding the feedback coming from it!
I’ve tested on the expo again many rigs and some with the same actuators and felt disconnected again!
I wish it was simple to be tested but as you have the seat mover you understand what I’m talking about!
Excellent work, really pleased for you and looking forward to part 2.
Another top class video. Great to hear you embracing motion and I like the way you are disconnecting the wheelbase from the motion to get the best view, which always looks stunning in your videos.
Thanks man 🍻
Man I can’t stop watching your vids they’re so good man
Thx buddy 🍻😃
Fantastic ! Great ! Can't wait the part 2 !
Thank you for another Video, I appreciate all that you do for the Sim community. I can tell you put so much Passion into your reviews. So thank you. Have a great day.

I was expecting this since the last teaser video about a month ago.
Thanks for this great video!👏
you deserve so much more credits for all your content! really really appreciate it! you‘re inspiring mate!!
Thanks for the kind words and support buddy 🍻
I feel great gratitude for how far this channel has gone even now 🤗
Fantastic video and collaboration with Qubic. I have had their QS 220 system for a year now and am still blown away by it, very glad they worked with you on the QS 210 to bring this motion platform to even more people. I use it for flight sim and sim racing and the combination of the very refined software and hardware specifications on the actuators is what sold me over d box which has more setup involved on the software side, less range of travel and less responsiveness on the actuator speed.
Hey Patrick, I realize try hard to not sound overexcited in that video and I don’t think I’m even expressing the half of the excitement I have with this platform!
Because you have the 220 monster you will totally understand why this thing totally changed my view for motion platforms !
For years I was thinking is impossible to make this work properly because of latency I felt all the time !
This really blows my mind and I still try to test and find if I’m not some how confused but watching those nets of my rig and the virtual one’s really blowing my mind 🙈
Best sim channel ever! How much I enjoy watching your videos, you deserve this upgrade, thank you for sharing with us! ❤️
Much love buddy, thanks for the kind words 🍻🤗
@@chepilevski Taking advantage of your answer, I would like to ask you a question regarding with your old Simucube if possible 😊 I am thinking to use also an extension of the wheelbase in order to make bigger the space I have on my legs, Could you recommend me please a extension accessory for this base? Thank you in advance mate!! I really appreciate it

Owning a full 3DOF VR rig myself i totally agree with everything you say... its another world . I have ordered a Full motion rig meaning 6DOF where you can feel the power of G-force in all dimensions. Its a self build so it will take me a few months. However if you are interested a full build video will be out there soon. ;-)
Oh definitely brother 😃
I would love to see your work 💪
Interested to hear your opinion switching from 3dof to 6dof. I heard a significant amount of people saying that 6dof doesn't really add anything valuable to the driving feeling and they gone back to 3dof. Cheers.
@nclabs5957 and right you are....I think that 3dof is more then enough for racing. However I will be using the 6dof for flightsims and specifically for helicopter. That said yep of course I will be racing with it and tell you all about it. I think racing a dune buggy will be awesome in it. But just racing on a flat surface will add noting more. 👍 sub so find out..😉
So you finally running a motion sim?!? About time buddy! Nice. 3+ years here with mine and I could never imagine taking without it. Total immersion!
Awesome video, like always. Can’t wait to see how you setup everything.
Thanks buddy🤗
Nice vid Steliyan!!! This thing is a beast!
It is monster bro 😃
The shot with the safety nets at 3:44? to demonstrate how the system keeps up with the virtual world was amazing!
It’s crazy man🙈 wen I saw that first time blown my mind 😮
I felt connected from the firs try but didn’t know this can be even possible for the actuators to keep up with all those movements 😃
Thanks for your amazing video as always 🙂

Excellent review as always! This is way out of my price range, though it seems awesome, I thought the Pokornyi LMP wheel was over the top overpriced, but now I'v almost talked myself into one?! Thanks again
I really wish one day that tech will be affordable enough for more of us the mortals man 🤗
It really brings the experience to different level 😃
If you go for the Pokornyi, you will love it 💪

It means a lot buddy 🍻
You are the only one of the more gear centric channels that does not simply go for the latest hardware because it exists but you actually ask the question of "what am I trying to achieve here".
After your FOV video from a while ago this one is another out of the box thing that sounds wrong at first, but after giving it some thought it makes complete sense!
Never would have thought to move the seat only and leave the rest fixed, but in a normal car, the movement of the car is kinda secondary to your own movement in relation to your car.
I know many people will cancel that before even test it but man, I feel first time fully connected to motion sim rig without my brain telling me something is off and try to figure out what the problem is!
When I was explaining to my friends here what my idea is everyone was telling me it doesn’t sound right but when they seat and actually drive the rig I was hearing only WOW expression 🤣
I spend like a month exploring what happens to my body in the real car and make so much sense to build it that way , but when I tested it for first time and work a bit with the pitch and roll movements to not throw me around unrealistically like in a boat going trough storm even I surprised myself with the result 🤣
@@chepilevski The boat analogy fits well 😂
Are the pedals connected to the motion rig or the wheel?
@@OriginalKKB 🤣🤣
Yes buddy, the pedals and the seat are the parts connected to the motion !

Now that your safety nets move, it's even harder to tell you're not in an actual car! Amazing!
Thx buddy 🍻
Thank you for this awesome in depth review. I must move out of my house for almost 1.5 years, so I need to take my rig apart, rebuild it, and when we move to our new house with they will build in the 1.5 years time, I can finally build my rig the way you did. Ofcourse with a little touch of my self.
But I will definitely buy this motion setup.
So glad to hear that brother 😃
It is such a blast to be home and able to enjoy the hobby on daily basis 💪🍻
wow...this is soo amazing cool stuff ..i got a very long way to ...a nice futre for simracers with this hardware ....no doubt you have a greater exprience than you already had ....good vid ..💪✌
Man your sim content is on another level. I just started the hobby and your videos I feel helped immensely in helping me get the right gear for me. Now I'm wondering if I should get this motion setup even though I'm still practicing to consistently stay on track and not hit other drivers 😂
It is such a beautiful hobby man 🤗 glad to know the content is helping your journey brother 🍻
If you have the funds go for it!
However, A VERY budget option if you want to add more feedback is shaker pucks (meant for home studios to make bass more intense in furniture) for your road feedback, and Arduino controlled rumble motors on your pedals.
Pucks are great help for VR imerssion. I'm currently only using 4, on each corner of my rig but they're getting the job done
The rumble motors are more immersion, but the best feedback I have now is traction loss under breaking if I hit my brakes too hard. It was my biggest problem before I grabbed those
@bTabard I got the P1000 peddals and the haptic motors which have been great for feeling abs. When you say pucks is that something like the buttkickers or is it something else?
@@Landril That is what a sim a particular company calls them (and they sell it with mounting equipment and the electronics to run it which is nice). The audio industry calls them "Bass Shakers" or "Shaker Pucks". You drive them with normal A/V equipment, and hook that up to a soundcard on your PC.
Then you have a program "SimHub" which translates the telemetry data from the game to the shakers. A 5.1 sound card could drive 6 shakers, since the shakers take the place of speakers in the install.
With my setup, it ran $170 for the audio driver, 4 pucks, and some cables to connect everything.
Next level stuff Chep👌
Next step, connecting to the Matrix Peter 🤣

I wish you get your dream rig soon buddy!
I totally agree with your statement with the immersion and experience!
I’m mostly competitive mind but is so important to have things just right and relax from time to time and fully enjoy the experience 😃
Welcome to the wonderful world of motion. I have mine for almost a year now and can't go back. It's good to see that these things are getting more affordable for everyone. That’s so true man 😃
I’m really getting closer and closer to my real life racing experience and sometimes I feel I’m totally lost in this world and forget I’m in my room 😃
It is crazy how far this sim world have gone 💪
I own a different manufacturer 6dof system and haven’t noticed any latency, but what I do notice is how much less enjoyment I get when I use my rig as a static.
My racing enjoyment comes from being in the racing environment as close to what I think is as real as I can get, so motion brings that enjoyment to me.
Looks like fun, but damn that pricetag!! Thank you for an amazing review!
Yes man , those are crazy investments but at least for first time I can see the full potential of the tech and hopefully will become more affordable in the future 😃
Thanks for the kind words mate 🍻
Holy shit! may I be your friend? hahaha Incredible setup, greetings from Spain!
I still can't believe motion platform with detached monitors - can make it more immersive. For me it can only distract and 'steal' feeling from FFB.
Anyway your review makes me want this platform for a test )
Ah noo, ideally will be to attach everything but that is way too hard to be achieved with triple screen setup!
For me the way i did it is the second best as I hate to see motion moves with the base , wheel and gears but the monitors stay in fixed position 🙈
It distracts my vision a lot

I think they will man , most importantly the tech is there to keep up with the speed which was my biggest concern for years 😃as they done that now, hopefully will become more and more affordable with the time 😃
Great Video, thanks mate. Loved to watch it😊. I had the same bad experiences with motion rigs cause the confusing of the different feedbacks of wheel and body movements 😅. But this sounds awesome. Unfortunately still not affordable for me 🥲😝
With the years I was thinking it wouldn’t be possible to fix that problem I personally had with those motions actuators but is finally possible 😯
Now ones they prove that is time to become more mainstream and find the way to build even smaller models 💪

You make a good point on explaining how we all differently react to motion cues and personally my sfx100 with traction loss and belt tensioner works best when wheel and pedals are on the same frame. But i also have to say, this is overpriced for 3dof, especially if you consider getting completed sfx150 sets now with sim racing studio for a fraction.
Wow, that's double the price of D-Box. But it looks like its really emersive. I now understand your face and smile in your last few videos. Very cool.

Love the wheel! Just purchased a motion system aswell. 400m/s is death lol. Mine got 70mm travel. It’s enough but wish it was a 100-150mm. Just for that extra feeling. But it’s still amazing!
Ps. I’m all for realistic with motion, but getting slammed into the seat ain’t very comfortable. Believe me when I say, “Less Is More.”
😳 Oh yes…. Finally! You sneaky SOB! 😂 👏 will watch this now. Damn… 🥳 …can’t wait!

Beautiful review! Had me sold when you drove Sebring (A very fun but annoyingly bumpy track) Made me want to buy one ... just one € too much.😅
I hate this track man 🙈
It is fun I spent mostly on this track the last few weeks to fully understand what is going on with the equipment 😁
I think this combined with a fast seat mover doing quick short movements for the roll motion instead of qubics would be amazing. I saw this because of your wrists bend a little during turns it transmits G force to your brain.
Amazing videos - is it possible to make a complete Google Excel list of all the parts and your Rig? ...and you can update that for us from time to time
?? :)
Hey, that is wonderful idea buddy! I must do that for sure 🍻
Cool stuff. Only a matter of time they will get the price down on motion rigs.
Absolutely man💪
The tech is there now fully sync and I believe soon will we see some better prices😃
looks like separating the seat movement from the wheel is the best immersion if you have a physical dash, I like the way you presented how your body moves in the seat.
Would you say for most people who have a virtual dash on screen beyond their wheelbase, it would make more sense to have the wheel and screens fixed to the motion system?
All you see is with the virtual dash in those videos buddy but one important thing is I lock the picture from the screens to the horizon and nothing moves there !
I wish people can try this and decide how they feel !
For me it makes huge difference 😃
finally u go motion! i have always wonder why u didnt do motion, even if you tune down the motion effect, its still fun even just for rough road, or bumps.
Yes man , that’s so true 😃
@@chepilevski i like how you detach the shifters, wheel apart from the rig. it does make sense to me. like the seat mover always make sense to me, but the pedal is inconsistent with just the seat moving. now if just the wheel is detach, it makes alot of sense.
@@rickylah69 man, I expected to be good but I surprised myself 😁
a dedicated seat mover would be good from this company, i always felt that just a seat mover would give best impression of g forces, like you have it just working on your seat and not the wheel or screen

I never felt more connected in motivation rig 😁
I’ve tested quite a bit on the expo last week and nothing feels like this one here in the way I attached it .
Another fantastic video content! I loved that comparison of the physical and virtual safety nets! That was CRAZY!!!!! 😯😳🤯. The motion platform is only for your seat, right? Or is your whole simrig (seat, paddles, steering wheel, frame) attached on the motion platform? Keep that content coming brother!
Thanks for the kind words buddy 🍻🤗
On the platform I can set everything even the monitors but I decided to do it differently which I explained in the video and attached only the seat and the pedals but separated the wheel base and the monitors for very specific reasons which helps the immersion for me personally 😃

Such an amazing video; thank you for the great content. Is 3DOF enough for Simaracing? Does it simulate traction loss? Would a 6DOF provide a noticeable difference?
This would be awesome with rallycross!! Be cool to have one! ♡♡♡
Yes man 😃
When the settings are right, and you get use to the sensation, you can't go back to no motion. The experience is weird when i forget to activate for couple of laps. My simrig sr2 is not as fast, and already punches me hard, so i can't imagine yours. But still, I'm not sure i would like the wheel to moving with the rig. I get your point, what you want to replicate. But still, the movement of the body compare to the wheel looks too intense to be realistic in my opinion. The idea i have (not tested yet) to get sustained g force effect, is to attache the rear of the harness to a fix point in the room. Therefore, when the rig moves forward under braking, it will do the same thing as a belt tensioner
Also, try in vr, you will have a better immersion and combo of motion and visual that will trick your mind
I know it sounds weird buddy and I wish it was easy to be tested but is bit complicated to be set like that 🙈
And you are so right, ones you get used to motion, without it feels so empty experience .
I haven’t yet tested it in VR and I keep it back as that will be another WOW and want to capture those emotions 😃

Great Video as usual! So better than dbox systems?
First great vídeo it's amazing this smi rig with DOF but i new in this ionly have the Mony for one wheel base what your recomend idk what wheel base You use
Do you think this level of motion sim isn't achievable in DIY?
Great content as always!
I’m sure is possible as the hardware is there and the main thing will be a proper software to tell what exactly to do.
This here have some advanced filters which I haven’t fully understood yet how they work exactly to blend all the movements but ones I do will make full video about it!
@@chepilevski Thanks for your evaluation!
Very awesome! Very expensive!! I'd love to know how this compares to DOFReality at US$6,000 for it's top-of-the-line 6DOF setup.
I would love to know too that Douglas !
In this video I just scratch the surface from my experience but will go further with the time as there are way too many technical things which make that possible and need to talk with the engineers to fully understand all the science behind!
After having a brain tumor removed and now I have two more growing I am going to be getting into sim racing because I don’t have it in me anymore to race go-karts and I still love the feeling of getting better lap after lap

Happy racing buddy, you will love the sim world I’m sure 💪
hey buddy
great video ( as always )
So happy to see you so happy with the motion. Looks like an amazing set up.
I have 2questions.
First - you mention is equivalent wow moment to when you tried VR. How do you find the 2 together?
Second - for me one of the most vital body / sensation triggers i get from my motion rig is loss of rear traction.
so I have the rear axis active
like you i don't like the roll - it seems un natural and inconsistent with a rigid chassis.
But that loss of rear traction is something you feel in the wheel and your ass combined.
i find it so informative as the rear wheels lose traction. It's an intuitive body muscle reaction
Have you considered it ?
( or don't you ever lose rear traction 🤪)
as ever LOVE the content
now considering an upgrade
Hi Marc , it is blast buddy💪
I haven’t tried yet the VR as I keep it for special moment as I’m sure will be crazy experience 😃
Traction loss is something I’ve tried before in VR and was really good experience!
I saw this system first time on pictures in my "daily" comminity. Its so great that you have reviewed it - really amazing piece of technology.
Explained from you in a perfect way - Thanks a lot.
But I am a little bit disappointed --> wheare are the P1000 Pedals?? :)
Ah, the P1000 are shaking with the motivation brother 😁💪
Thx for the kind words buddy 🍻
@@chepilevski the motors should push your motiviation to a higher level - but i can fully understand - with the Qubic System the Haptic motors have a lower prio :). But still will give you more speed with the feedback as the motion system :).
But are you still using it? Or replaced already?
@@TNero1981 the P1000 are may main pedal set for sure !
I test other pedals for reviews and come back afterward immediately!
Can you make a test with VR? Especially abouy their vr compensation and how the real "violent" movement can effect the headsets panels postion compared to your head. My varjo aero weights less than 500g but if i move in my seat up and down rather fast like in your setup, it moves about which breaks immersion.
I will try to get Varjo and I have the Valve Index here to see how the software manages those movements!
It promises a lot but must test to see how it really works and feels
@@chepilevski i came from a valve index and i didnt expect much from my 3090 rtx but it can run the Aero at its max in AC, thats 4000x3500 res true to life pixel density! In race(10 cars) i have to turn it down to "normal" which is still good. It takes a week to get used to the smaller Hov. The really small Vov is not an issue in sim racing. Their software is really well optimized. At that high native res there is no need for AA or any prossesioning so its more effcient. I would love to step up to Qubic's system but it need to be bullet proof for VR as i am a die hard VR sim racer.
Every time I tell someone we can only see comprehend 60fps they think I'm crazy.
Fantastic! How much faster did your best lap times get. Sounds like a lot faster. Can you give us a sense of what you achieved time-improvement wise. Perhaps run some tests with the system on and off.
I have in mind to do some testing turning off the wheel FFB and try to drive only on motion feedback to see how it goes and then compare only on wheel FFB and all together as I’m interested to see the results 😃
My time’s improved with few tenths but that comes also from the pedals feedback which helps enormously too and I must test that all one bay one and compare!
The biggest improvement comes in helping me do those laps constantly now which was always a problem on that specific track !
Should be super interesting. Don't forget to test at various levels (for example 1. an immersion level that values fun and immersion over raw speed: 2. a speed level that just includes that set-up you believe is most likely to make you faster; and 3. no motion). My personal research tended to show that no motion or minimal bass shaker haptics (for slip in iRacing) results in the lowest lap-times. However the sheer response time of the system you tested and very importantly, your feeling that you were faster/more consistent, may well bear out. Either way we will learn a lot. By the way I also did some research with experts and what appears to be the factor that makes us slower is brain overload from too many overlapping (pardon the pun) sensory inputs. Exactly what you said was your problem with previous motion systems you tried. If that is not a problem with your new system, and lap-times are indeed verifiably faster (or even more consistent), that would be HUGE!
@@JonFestinger realize great points man !
I’m excited to test all that and see what results will bring to the table 😃
Looks amazing! not sure if i managed to miss it somehow but could you show how you mounted the wheel to not be attached to the motion rig?
I will do that in the video about the build of the entire rig buddy!
It is basically different aluminum frame which goes around the motion platform but will show that in detail soon 🤛
@@chepilevski THank you so much sounds amazing one day in the next 5 years im getting motion for sure and i cant wait! You have my absolut dream setup and i adore the dedication keep up the great work and amazing content!
@@cantfeelthis3288 best wishes in your journey man 💪
❤❤❤
Great video as always! So, do you not have any of your button boxes attached to the motion platform? I am thinking of getting one but have a few button boxes and what not that I am not sure the best way to do it.
No buddy, the only things attached to the motion are the pedals and the seat !
Everything else is static on separate frame ! I wish people can try it that way and see how they feel!
I will explain soon 🔜 on the rig video 💪
Wow what an aboslute dream! I find it very interesting that you separated your wheelbase from your motionrig. I can really imagine that this gives you an even more immersive feeling, havent seen this approach before.
I have a question: does the whole motion setup really only provide a max load of 200kg? So it wouldnt be possible to mount everything (including the Monitors) right? I mean i alone weigh around 90kg....
Thanks a lot and keep up the really good work!!
I was thinking for months about this approach and I believed will work but I even surprised myself how natural it feels man 😃
It was bit complex to achieve but the results are more then I expected 💪
For the load , there are two mods , one suggest 250kg load which is the slowest more softer one but in my opinion, I haven’t found much difference and for the ultimate mod they suggest 200kg!
I just wanted to make sure I can take the maximum performance from this as I’m around 90kg too 😁
However, if you have single screen and attach all together with the base you will be just around those 200kg
Triples will add way more because of the extra frames and from my experience, the way this kiks,I’m afraid the monitors will survive 🙈
Last time I’ve tested it on 80% heave movement and my heals from both legs detected in the way down 🙈
This thing is insanely fast 🤣🤣🤣
@@chepilevski I see, thank you for the detailed answer!! Wow, hearing that i would consider to build it the same way as you did, if there just wouldnt be the god damn price 😀 But hearing your opinion and seeing this video, is really convincing me :)
Im looking forward for your next video and to see how you managed to decouple your wheelbase from your motion rig and keeping it stable and rigid ;)
@@shelbymustang1314 if you need further details and have more questions, PM me on Instagram (same name)
And I can send you some pictures how i did that 🤛
@@chepilevski oh wow thank you, thats very kind from you! Unfortunately i dont have an insta account... but i think i will create one and will send yo an PM, i am really interessted in the details!
Much thanks again! :)
I’m starting to build my rig, and am just absolutely blown away with yours! What size monitors do you use?
I use 32 inch screens buddy.
It is awesome journey building your rig, isn’t it 😃
@@chepilevski definitely. I am working on switching from Xbox to PC, so definitely a journey for me
Would wet myself with excitement if I were able to afford this! It’s my ultimate dream to have something like this but still way too expensive atm
It is expensive indeed but is getting there slowly brother 💪
I hope we all gonna have the chance to have that just as the good wheelbase and pedals
@@chepilevskigood point, DD’s have dramatically come down in price of late
Nice review! You mentioned that you are on second floor in the video, giving the motion system gonna do all sorts of vibrations and movements, how do you prevent all these from transferring to the floor below? As I am living in an apartment, my main concern is complaints from my neighbours below with all these vibrations. It will be nice if you can share more information about that.
The only thing I use is those rubber panels for fitness studios 2.5cm thick!
In the evenings I put a bit down the FX effects and the other movements of the chassis are very quiet!
Till now zero complaints from neighbors buddy!
As long as you keep the FX effects in reasonable gain is more silent then my magnetic shifters 🤛😃
That sounds fantastic! Thanks for the info!
did the added immersion of the motion rig made your driving more consistent?
