ACC exposed me to GT3 racing, or GT racing in general, and now I find it far more enjoyable to watch than F1. The racing is so intense. I was at COTA a few weeks ago for GT WC America and on nearly half the laps of the 90 minute race there was a 5 car battle for the lead. Someone would get the lead, and then 1 lap later lose 4 positions because the racing was just that close. And then a few laps later that guy would be back in the lead. It was the greatest racing I've ever seen. It was like F1 Silverstone 2022, but instead of just being 1 or 2 laps of multi-driver battles, it was half the race.

The handling over kerbs has little to do with suspension and tyre model. Basically it was a case of the bumpstop having infinite compression, leading the car body (contact box) to hit the ground. This is why we had so many cars flying off at Eau Rouge due to bottoming out too much, while running extremely soft setups. I have to disagree with the rear sliding. The thing with the curbs just makes me feel glad that GTR2 lets you lean on the curbs pretty hard, but not (in my totally uneducated opinion) unrealistically so.
The brake model is a major hurdle keeping me from using ACC. I understand ABS is there to protect you, but every pro driver I’ve heard says it’s more efficient and effective to be just at the threshold of the ABS triggering. ACC’s concept of 100% brake pressure every braking zone is far from that.
Agreed Ermz, need that Nordschliefe included in ACC. Mostly because I want to see you drive the hell out of it, lol! And if they bring it, how good will it be.
I don't even play on pc but still i would say the best racing game on ps is not gt7 but acc. Especially after the last update, it's really good on PS5. It offers so much to learn and the ai is so good that I can spend hours racing against them. Love acc!
Acc is truly a great game and sim. But AC2 has my self as well as alot of the sim drifting community worried that our niche will left ignored. ACs modding community has made simdrifting great and makes esports series like ESDA and VDC possible. I just hope that kunos looks at its modding community and sees what so many people want more than just racing and turning lap times. Imagine a world where maps like SRP and LAC are part of the default game
I remember having tons of fun on zolder fav car was the pagani one I think. I managed my personal best 1:34 maybe 10s behind the pros non the less not bad. I was experimenting with the track a lot. As well as the car setup. Maybe those curbs were the issue or my inconsistent corner entry and exit that made my times worse. Nonetheless its one of the greatest sims on a wheel. I tried It with a controller today but its not good with it. I dont have the wheel currently nor the possibility of getting one at this point. But ill hop on back one day for sure.
Always appreciate your showmanship with things like the intro. I really wish Kunos weren't going to be doing GT2s. They've hinted at this DLC pack being a goodbye to ACC, and I think if you're not gonna be adding anymore content to a game, then you want your last release to be something that maximizes the longevity of the game. GT2s are not that. It's gonna be very similar to Ferrari Challenge, which the community doesn't seem to like. What would increase the longevity is a major track pack release. Just give us all the modern SRO tracks that aren't here yet. We still don't have Hockenhiem, Magny Cours, Sanoma, Sebring, Road America, VIR, and maybe NOLA. I think instead of GT2s they should have released a 2nd American track pack (Sanoma, Sebring, Road America) and then maybe given us hockenhiem for free. I would take the Nordschliefe over all of that though. I knoww they've said they're never gonna do it since it isn't SRO, but I could think of no better way to say goodbye than giving the fans what they've been asking for since day 1.
A career mode that would visit every track on the game and help you build a setup to compete at your best? Setups that you can take online and race others that have also built it in their own style. AC2 take these recommendations!!😂😂
Is it still THAT bad? I play exclusively on VR and that's why I still mostly play iRacing. I love ACC, but the VR experience wasn't great when I gave it a try a couple of years ago. Is it worth giving it another shot or should I not even bother?

The brake model is a major hurdle keeping me from using ACC. I understand ABS is there to protect you, but every pro driver I’ve heard says it’s more efficient and effective to be just at the threshold of the ABS triggering. ACC’s concept of 100% brake pressure every braking zone is far from that.
I really love ACC and just endlessly practicing haha :D
Agreed Ermz, need that Nordschliefe included in ACC. Mostly because I want to see you drive the hell out of it, lol! And if they bring it, how good will it be.
AC port with some updates based on real-world feedback. April 2024.
Love your content!
Can you update your settings for rFactor 2?
I didn't expect a doom edit in this video but hey it's always welcome LMAO
The GT2 pack and Nurburgring pack have both been released as of April 10th 2024. Once more into the breach for you.
2:49 I personally appreciate this DOOM Eternal vibes )))
I remember having tons of fun on zolder fav car was the pagani one I think. I managed my personal best 1:34 maybe 10s behind the pros non the less not bad. I was experimenting with the track a lot. As well as the car setup. Maybe those curbs were the issue or my inconsistent corner entry and exit that made my times worse. Nonetheless its one of the greatest sims on a wheel. I tried It with a controller today but its not good with it. I dont have the wheel currently nor the possibility of getting one at this point. But ill hop on back one day for sure.
Love the GT3 and GT4 aspects of ACC, but I find the prospect of GT2 maybe just a little bit... frightening?
6:42 omg mom i'm famous xD (thanks for the tweet feature btw =D )
This comment doesn't stand the test of time. Why would they stop ACC? Nordschlife 24 is being released April 2024. Looks pretty solid to me.
I find the AI fairly good once you learn how it works, they will attack and defend, Expesh if you add pit stops to longer races
It's a great simulator, but for me the slow acceleration of every car is just a bummer. Every corner exit seems like I'm in a 90hp car...
I remember when Kunos first released the demo of his own project which would eventually be AC.
NetKar was awesome fun!
I'm hooked on acc and can't wait for gt2!!!
A career mode that would visit every track on the game and help you build a setup to compete at your best? Setups that you can take online and race others that have also built it in their own style. AC2 take these recommendations!!😂😂
The Gran Turismo Sport drum and bass music as you show the hacker meme

Narrator: He still got flamed to high hell in the comments.
If only it wasn't horrendous in VR
Yea, acc with AMS2's VR would make all other games obsolete
Is it still THAT bad? I play exclusively on VR and that's why I still mostly play iRacing. I love ACC, but the VR experience wasn't great when I gave it a try a couple of years ago. Is it worth giving it another shot or should I not even bother?
@@leonardormendes don't bother, it's still horrible
I tried it about a month ago and it was almost unplayable it was so bad.
@@hansolo631 ACC making all other games obsolete? Lol, no. ACC would need plenty of other car series besides GT, and a Porsche Cup, and other tracks outside of SRO. A much more robust in-game multiplayer safety/skill scoring system as well.
I have ACC since early access yet only did about 1/2 hour on it.. tempted to try it now..
i like it how it's obvious what game this is about just from the title alone
