    Elaborate but simple explanation. Can you explain how long should one take to move from 12 hr fast to 16 hr to OMAD?

    • @gautamguha71newdelhi
      @gautamguha71newdelhi  Před 4 lety +1

      Arunima sumal can’t be specified because there is no fixed formula that fits all. Every body is different !!! Listen to your hormones and don’t rush up ... I took 6-7 weeks to hit OMAD. I did OMAD for 4-5 weeks in Mar and Apr 2018. In entire 2019 mY OMAD was in breaks and random intervals - eg before Dussehra for a week. Avg - maybe 3-4 days a month. The application of diet and fasting both kept changing with my health ....

      @gautamguha71newdelhi  Před 3 lety

      Build up to 23-24 h fasting. Don't do it suddenly. Once you are comfortable at 18-20 h fasting then try OMaD one meal a day. If your body feels nice try to do it for a week also. It depends on what is your intended result. But you can be on one meal for weeks together also. As a routine it's good to do once a week atleast.

      Now during Ramadan you will not. So get up early and drink couple of glasses including a glass of lime water. Otherwise, you must continue to drink water till the time your urine doesn't turn colourless. Aim is to remain well hydrated.

      @gautamguha71newdelhi  Před 2 lety

      @@momscorner269 it goes up and comes down. Depends on many factors. But the idea of checking glucose levels after 12 h is to sense and gauge your sugar metabolism. Dawn phenomenon is more to do with your circadian rhythm - body prepares you to get up for the day and hence makes glucose.

      Yes surely why not. Fasting is NOT for dealing with excess subcutaneous fat. It's with the intent to make your body Insulin Sensitive. The fact that u are not obese - u have to be extra careful with all that excess sugars getting stored as fat in your liver or pancreas or visceral fat etc. All my videos are marked sequentially. Go through them and can connect on whatsapp on my No. It's mentioned at the end of each video.
