Christopher calling aid “damaged goods” was definitely one of his lower points. He played such a good scum bag
He deserves the ending he gets.
@@NipplePinchGenocide same could be said about any man. He being “damaged goods” had nothing to do with her being with Christopher, it was from a procedure that went bad years prior to them meeting. So if you’re trying to be edgy and controversial just for the sake of it, then try harder
@@NipplePinchGenocide nah. Some women (and men) get into relationships with the best intentions, and don’t realize that they’re going to be abused. It’s not like everyone in this situation does this solely to be in a relationship with someone that will treat them like garbage

Maurice and Zellman are underrated as really sad characters. Perfect display of corruption and loss of ideals in once good people. I loved that whole scam plot
Absolutely.
Borko asks about you, Kino. I’ll give him your love.
You're a good kid ill bring you his underpants
He’ll like hearing that
Johnny Sack played Paulie like a violin.. a master manipulator
Possibly, but whatever happened to Paulie!? He’s one of the few of the crew who may have survived.
Cheaper than a bartender.. Hehehe
Johnny was not a master manipulator. Paulie was just an idiot which made it easy to exploit.
@@jayr3381 fuggin slander if u ask me.. Hehehe
Well he did like to stick his beak in things.
Kino would have treated Adrianna better...he would've atleast waited until they were married before smacking her around
Kino simpin hard for adriana in this one, rough to see.
He shouldn’t have to explain himself kid, he’s from the old school.
Until you give her your name, keep your shine box off of her
I love how AJ is bored by everything but if he gets engaged at all he just reveals his utter confusion
I love how it contrasts with Tony taking Meadow there in the pilot, she's clearly a lot more 'switched on' shall we say...
He reveals his ignorance
I revealed my own what?!
bro is probably high most of the middle of the show, some guys just envelop themselves in weed haze to ignore reality, me being one of them
"Take it easy! We're not shooting a Western here" Uncle Junior
"Tony is a complicated man" sopranos summed up perfectly
Kino's love for Adreanna continues.
Gandofini's acting when he starts tearing up at that song is the best fucking acting I've seen in my life. He's so good at having these little human moments feel like a direct emulation of experiences we've all had. Even when he beats up a dude afterwards lmao
The “drug addict” that got shot is the one that walked up to Tony’s car window when AJ was with him
That gift Adrianna receives looks an awful lot like the infamous Chip and Dip from Mad Men. A thing like that...
It's a chip and dip , we got two
getting two is practically like getting four...
You're watching too much television.
She should have exchanged it for a rifle.

I think an important takeaway for me is that at the meeting with Pauly and Johnny Sack. The scene ends with Pauly head down in his ice cream/dessert whilst Johnny Sack is drinking his wine. He knew he had turned Pauly into his errand boy
Paulie was the most reliable guy in Tony's crew. Reliable as in fk up. Everything he did he managed to fk it up.
Tony: Beats a man to the floor while perpetually whipping him...
Kimo: Tony is a communicate complicated man
🤦
Lol
How Christopher ever got a girlfriend is beyond me. Dude called her "damaged goods" 😭😭😭
But he can get her shoes and jewelry. What I don't understand is how Vito got a woman, and a man.
@@DCFelix67 Same general principle. Tony remarks that Vito was one of his best earners and he had quite a nice house.
I mean, he’s not bad looking and he has some power
@@DCFelix67 Johnny Cakes liked to cook, Vito liked to eat. Simple as.

After you’re done with The Sopranos would really enjoy you do these summaries with The Wire just an idea love the vids
Yes, that would be awesome. You'd be really good at that Kino 👊
yeah he should do The Wire
maybe even Mad Men since the creator worked on The Sopranos
Breaking bad is trash
@Austin King the wire is 🗑
House of Cards 🃏 ♠️
Paulie was such a snake in this season. Yes, even more than usual.

Gearing up for "The Wire" follow up series.
Season 2 kinda suck though
@@mikefloyd3152 it's really good
@@nailersrule it's too slow the Avon/marlo turf war plots are better. I like the introduction of the Greek though
@@mikefloyd3152 The Greeks are worth it. Frog too.
The Wire is going to send Purekino into the 21st century
Personally, I would like to see a series about Johnny Sack and the New York side of things. We know they were pretty much manipulating things to their advantage through John a lot of the time, and John through Paulie and Ralph, but it would be cool to see it played out on the small screen. Naturally, it would take place during the same time (roughly) as The Sopranos, but possibly start "a season or two" before The Sopranos started. Maybe around the time Jackie Sr. takes over would work. It would give us a little more about Carmine Sr. and Jr. as well. I think Johnny Sack was the most inherently "cool" character in the series, so I would like to see more of him. I suppose the big drawback is that you pretty much know how things will turn out.
Edit: maybe we could also find out where Phil was the whole time since he never mentioned it once during the entire series.
Forget screenplays. Forget those distractions
Good job Kino! I never completely understood by everyone despised Ralph but Christopher, like he’s any better. His behavior in this episode is one of many examples of why he was a complete scumbag. They all were.
Ralph was one of my favourite characters
Richie is way better than ralph
I mean Ralph killing that one girl was worse then most of the things other people did I think that’s why he is so hated
@@d.b.scoville bs. It seemed worse because it was on screen. If it was off camera it wouldn’t have been as bad. Do you remember when Chrissy strangled, beat her up and dragged her by the hair out of the apartment for what he perceived was infidelity? I didn’t mention the people he murdered on screen. How many? At least 3 come to mind. Ralph? 1 and a horse. Lol. They’re all scumbags. Chris was more likable because he was funny.
@davesmith7432 nah dude you're way off. Chrissy is a p0s don't get me wrong, but he's not even in the same toilet as Ralph. Who did Chris kill? a scumbag like Mikey, the corrupt cop he believed killed his dad for hit man money, and some guys that were shooting at him?
Ralph murdered a 20 year old girl with his bare hands because she got upset that he insulted her.
Chris's worst crime is being a misogynist wife beater, which is bad, but not as bad as Ralph
Yeah I'm starsky and this is hutch I always laugh at that lol
Love the videos Kino, very allegorical.
Very observant Robbie, The sacred and the propane
"I'm an aura view!!!'
It’s definitely under his subspecies
@Harupert Beagleton he's a 12 steppah. Heehehe
@Harupert Beagleton they don’t even have the sausage gun on the table during the ceremony.
Whattaya hear? Whattaya say??
"I told you youngsters that crack is some baaaad shit!"
All of a sudden, the Sopranos turned into an episode of the wire
I’ve watched this series 100 times over, but I still get nuggets of clarity or things I never caught before from watching these videos.
fitting that Christopher ends up having a daughter & his family name doesn't live on anyway.
About the Belt whipping scene- Eastern European women, especially Russians, see Men crying as effeminate, unless it involves a death in the Family.
When Tony told him to "Cry like a Bitch", Bitch (Cyka) in Russian means 3 different things, based on context of course- 1. A Crybaby or Weakling (Common); 2. A Prostitute; 3. A Snitch or Informant.
Either way- that word cuts really deep if you're referring to a Man in Russia.
I'm glad you finally admitted to how big of a P0S Christopher really was. He represents every guy in the real world who doesn't appreciate the good woman that they have in front of them. So many guys out here who are willing to support and love a woman like Adrianna, get stuck with the Janice's, Gloria's, and Livia's of this world.
I’d still take Gloria any day idc
Tony whipping Zelman was uncalled for, and one of Tony's lowest acts. Gloria was right when she said that he deprives himself of nothing.
Shit pissed me off! Like he doesn’t fuck around with peoples females and etc.
This moment and the “sacre bleu, where is me mama” moment made me hate tony. I’m just happy that him whipping on Zelma caused him a lot of agita later on
I don't want her anymore. But I don't want anybody else to have her.
Fun fact: Ralph and Maurice's actors both played a different version of Ben Urich from Daredevil: Joey Pants in 2003, and Vondie Curtis-Hall in 2015.
I would not have even looked in that ladies direction let alone date the ex girlfriend or wife of a guy that was in my circle especially a gangster not very smart or diplomatic.
I know Zellman wasn't a very important character, but I feel like he just kind of disappeared after season 4, we never got any closure. I imagine he would have gone down eventually had Tony lived to see the FBI charges brought up against him.
Probably kept his distance after being rendered impotent by being beaten with a belt
He helped to close a situation with AJ in season 6 when he came with a knife to Junior. And he became a senator.
Somebody has a crush on Adrianna...
who doesn't?
"Operator, I want to make a collect call to Borko..."
Out of all the characters in the Sopranos, Adrianna was the most sympathetic one. Such a sad story.
Brian was my favorite character. I wish they did more with him
Who's that speaking, is somebody speaking???
@@higherpower254 I'll do him myself
A wife cannot be COMPELLED to testify against her husband, but she CAN testify against him.
I remember absolutely loving this episode when it aired. I would get baked every Sunday night and watch Sopranos when it came on.
It's interesting that Tony puts it upon Zelleman to facilitate stripping the building of copper, etc. by threatening to essentially tax him, then Zelleman does the same to Maurice. Shit running downhill.
Really appreciate your videos! Always love to watch your stuff after my workout!
Love these videos so much!! Great reviews!!😁😁 Do you think you would do able to do these kinds of reviews again, but on Mad Men!!?
Hell yeah..don deezy and Co
Vito was free to help with the copper plumbing. Must have finally finished the ramp at Beansie’s house.

Tony gives Paulie a wad of $50grand....... Johnny Sack gives Paulie a chocolate mousse. fuckin' Paulie
Paulie was still complaining after Tony gave him that 50, talkin about green grove! Like BRO STFU
These are great. Excited to these for season 5 and 6.
I remember this episode so much more clearly than others and another fine job too young man 🏴🙏
This felt like the shortest Kino ever, cause it just flowed so well.
I just watched all of those in two days. Thanks for that! Looking forward to the rest. LIke a lot of people I got excited when I saw the MSON Trailer and felt like I wanted to give the show a rewatch, but this works too. To be honest the first time I watched this show I thought it was....okay. I didn't love it, save for Season 3, which I remember really loving. The second time I watched it wasn't that long ago--maybe 2 or 3 years, and I liked it much better, but there were still a few things I just didn't get and/or appreciate. I feel like it's a show that will get better the more I watch it, so I'm excited to give it another go.
Great breakdown man love the content
The first time I rewatched the show I couldn't believe that Maurice was only in this one episode, because he makes such an impression.
Definitely one of the scummiest crimes they get into
Lol, i thought they intentionally cut that scene so they wouldnt give wannabe mobsters the blueprint to scam HUD
Life: stress, depression, taxes
Kino: Waddoyou hear Waddoyou say
“Tony is a complicated man” lol ya think?! Understatement of the century
"Yeah I can see that"
Love that line and scene in general
One of the best endings to a TV episode ever
Fun fact hash had a gold record off that song Oh Girl
Interesting detail!
Kino...just fyi, it wasn't a TV show...it was a tv movie miniseries called "The Don" starring Danny Aeillo. It was pretty good. Joe Mantegna played a great part as well. Put some respect on it! 🤣👍🏾
Can you please do some vidoes detailing the schemes and potential payouts of the Soprano clan throughout the series? Like the Esplanade deal for example and the various card games too.
Keep it up love your vids 🤟
As soon as i saw this pop up on my tv I let out an audible "AH YEAH"
This was a very depressing episode in many ways. Seeing how programmes designed to help poor and marginalized people are exploited by criminals is upsetting but, of course, these are professional criminals and this is what they do - would we expect them to do any different? This isn't to excuse them by any means though and what they do is disgusting. What makes me more angry, however, is that the assemblyman and the black community outreach worker get involved.
The assemblyman is obviously corrupt and immoral but the discussion he has with the non-profit organization worker/leader indicates that he had once hoped to do good things for the community - "we were gonna start a revolution". He has completely sold out and I was glad that he got the beating from Tony, even though it was for a very different reason. This character makes you wonder how many people who start their careers as political do-gooders end up selling out and getting into bed with organised crime (I imagine that its almost the norm with politicians) in order to line their own pockets. Disgusting.
The scene when the little black kid asks the assemblyman if there's gonna be a nice house there when Tony's men are gutting the building for copper and other metals is heartbreaking. Zellman is a piece of shit. The other guy too, the non-profit guy, completely sells out his own community for a bit of money. This is a man who leads an organization set up to help poor people improve their lives. His whole career and role in life is compromised due to greed and selfishness.
These people are scum - some of the worst characters in the show and this is a show about career criminals who make a living by exploiting society as a whole and consistently engaging in generally abhorrent behaviour. In some ways, these two characters were worst than the mob because they present the illusion of respectability and engage in the pretence of being decent, hardworking men who serve their communities and their interests but are instead exploiting their positions, and therefore the communities they pretend to represent. At least the mafia don't pretend to be anything that they aren't.
The political realm and the charity/non-profit sector is riddled with parasitic scum and they shouldn't be allowed to get away with their crimes. Nor should the mob, of course. I do just want to say though that there are some great people who work in the charity/non-profit sector - I have met them and have worked and volunteered in the sector myself. But capitalism will always present opportunities for greedy people to make money, even if it means ripping off people who are already living at the lower end of the socioeconomic scale.
TL;DR - Zelman and the non-profit guy are utter scum and in many ways are worse than the mafia itself.
Adriana getting beat up and yelled at by Christopher and yet she stays with him. That's sad
But every time he hit her there was always a reason...it's not like he was just going around beating her down..
I still feel so bad for Adriana. Chris treated her like absolute shit and she ended up getting killed over him.
You know who had an ark? Kino.
Allegedly, lotta bullshit if u ask me.. Hehehe
Maybe u can do commentary per show like DVD extras? Follow along while you commentate.
Seriously, if Tony Soprano showed up to your front door w/ a belt, what would you do? lol
3:05 That candle gonna catch on fire!
Very observant Kino, the sacred and the propane.
Damn you really slamming these videos out closer the movie comes salute my friend
One of my favorite episodes! So well written.
I like watching your analyses more than the actual show

There will never be a show like The Sopranos ever again
"WTF, why is THIS his song" ?
Perfect timing for this episode
Mama Livia mentioned the riots in a flashback, look forward to it being a part of the upcoming movie
Borko whipping Kino: All the shows on tv you had to pick this one?
you missed the best bit, where tony trying to act clever to his son... by parroting something Brian said to him earlier.. "God aint making any new land" basically as a reason to buy land... I always wanted his son to answer back.. "God aint keeping anyone alive either" with his inner emo.. and then have tony say something back like.. "why do you always have too.. blah blah.. depsite it being the only intelligent thing he ever says.. I always thought that would have been cool.. it was one thing that always stood out to me in the sopranos that stolen line from brian to his son.
Why does that stand out?
Let me tell ya a couple three things, i watched alotta pure kino when borko was under HBO house arrest.. Hehehe
On my way home from work "I hope my guy uploaded another video"
That’s because at the time Paulie thought he could jump ship to join the New York family
Great video! We’re halfway now :(
Why does the headstone say pure Kino that’s a nickname the family name is Kinorelli
Did you watch hillstreet blues yet?
Whats next after Sopranos?
Tony beating the shit out of Zellman over Irina thing was so stupid. I get it. Matters of the heart can be complicated but logically, she was crazy, he didn't want her because she was causing him problems. She wasn't cool with being a sidepiece and was driving him nuts, threatening suicide, trying to put a wedge between him and Carmela and so on. She found the rich older man she wanted in Zellman and voila, problem solved. She's a problem off Tony's back. It's sort of writing malpractice that this bad decision didn't come back to haunt Tony. The fallout could have been Zellman, fearing Tony, dumps Irina and Irina goes back to Tony demanding money and attention and Tony regrets his stupid temper.
Kino, just got my "slip and fall State" sweater in the mail. It's fuckin awesome!
“Christophaarr”
Tony wants Vito to Rip out all the copper from the house for maybe 6-7 Grand. Proceeds to then give cousin Brian a 15 Grand watch for introducing the HUD scam to him.
"Tony's a complicated man"---that's an understatement! And could not agree more about Christopher not deserving Adriana...esp in light of what ends up happening...a thousand times over!
