Just because Paddy is advocating men's mental health awareness doesn't mean you can't constructively criticize him. And you're not a piece of shit for doing it.
Particularly when there is a chance he is actually just a sociopath. I have always got a weird feeling about Paddy. Desperate for attention with a terrible attitude and a backstabby nature imho. I think he just said the mental health stuff because he saw how much positive press Tyson Fury got when he did the same.
The thing with Paddy is he’s been training at a gym his hole life with no elite fighters so now he’s the best in his gym he thinks that’s going to transfer over to the UFC. It was only last month he was saying that his gym is going to be known soon that it’s the best gym in the world 🥴 but after Mollys and Paddy’s last fights it’s pretty obvious he’s training with little fish and he’s not as good as what some people thought. He needs to be in a gym with elite fighters or other UFC fighters that all train under one roof if he even wants to continue a career in the UFC.
@@cooke828 Shame, I feel a lot of fighters make the same mistake - and if they end up moving Gyms it's usually too late and they've wasted a big chunk of their careers
In all fairness, the most important criteria to win rounds is damaging shots. If you punched twice and they got top mount for 5 minutes without striking or going for sub, you'd win the round.
@@ekayn1606 He’s telling you what you want to hear. Don’t be naive and easily fooled, most people do this for their advantage. Fights are not won off damaging shots, they’re won off ground control, side control, wrestling and other various movers. You should have known this before making a broad statement about it. Go watch Volk vs Islam fight for your credibility.
@@Blocker___ I already did. It was a great fight! If you look at the judging criteria, damage trumps all. You don't even look at control time unless damage is roughly equal. Top control means very little if you don't attempt submissions or throw strikes. They reward you for doing things that can finish the fight. Not for sitting on your opponents.
Then your "soul" is easily touched...because you clearly couldn't see what was right in front of you revealing itself over a period of time. As they say, you can fool some people some of the time, but, you can't fool all of the people all of the time. He is a showman who knew just what to say to rally a weak fanbase. I bet you never considered that for one second, did you? And it was only shortly after his little prepared speech about "mental health" when he realized that his plan worked and his stocks rose due to a spike in his approval ratings that he did an about-face and showed his true colors because he thought he had enough fans to use his star power to attack people for no reason like Aerial Helwani. Just because someone says something that you want to hear does not make them a "good person." Just because someone says something that makes you applaud them does not mean that they actually mean a single word escaping their lips. It just means you are easily manipulated and are prone towards manipulation by your emotional triggers. Maybe you should think about that the next time your "feelings" are triggered by someone on television. Politicians do this all the time...it is called being a liar and a manipulator. it is a common train among sociopaths and psychopaths. And this is exactly the type of person that Paddy is...he manipulated you. Even now you wish him success under the condition of humility after having been revealed for what he is because your brain cannot seem to accept reality even when it is clearly presented. He was never humble or a "good guy" from day one. That was the act. And some people would rather believe the act than the truth.
The important thing that Paddy needs to understand is not that fans turned because they think he lost and the judges got it wrong. It was more his response. Rather than go "You know what, that was a really close fight. I think we need to run it back", he rejects the idea that he lost at worst or at best that it was a very close fight. McGregor had an equally huge ego but not so early on and not without having an exceptional win streak against ranked opponents . Conor of course has also become quite disliked but he's become so successful that he probably doesn't care much at this point and despite not being the nicest guy, it can't be denied that he accomplished a lot in a short period of time. Paddy does NOT have this sort of legacy, he's an average fighter with an ego greater than his skill. So he needs a personality in order to be have a career and having one of a delusional, ego driven company man is not going to win him favour with MMA fans. I know some fighters PLAY the role of a villain like Colby Covington but this does not naturally suit Paddy and so he will just come across as unlikeable.
@@Sagaofsr For real people are willing to overlook a person being an asshole or downright evil if they’re talented Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Mayweather, McGregor, Kobe, Ronaldo, etc. Pimblett isn’t good enough to be an asshole and get away with it.
For me it wasn't the decision. It was his attitude after the fight saying that the fight was obviously in his favor and completely discrediting not only gordon's performance, but also saying that he was just stalling in the third round.
You have no ideas what you 're talking about. Fighters like that have to convince themselves they are the best, you can't just say ok I don't deserve win in front of the entire freaking world... you don't realize the amount of pressure they guys get.

@@joshturner9766 I'm not talking about the decision, I'm talking about the way that he acted afterwards. Regardless of what people think of the decision, There always have been and always will be controversial decisions in MMA
I think this is why Conor can be so popular because he might talk a lot of smack about everything but he always gives credit where credit is due and I think Conor has been especially great in defeat. Things like that can even turn the haters into fans. This is beside Conor being the character that is. But in Paddys case it seem to be a case of being big too fast.
Same with Chael. You can tell they’re putting on a show, but when they lose they’re vulnerable just like a real person. For someone like Paddy his character is always on, and when you “lose” it becomes very obvious if it’s an act or if you’re being yourself. And this situation made it clear that Paddy is just another act
@@bigpapi6688 Yes true! But what makes people being able to pull it off is when they know when and where they can or should be in character. Chael and Conor is great at that and an example is after the match either they win or lose thet usually talk normal and give credit to opponents aand all that. Always be in character makes it just cringe, imo. Also having a balance on being real or character makes it easier to take the trash talk for what it is and not so serious even if it might be on the line sometimes like when Chael offended the brazilians. You knew it was his character and that made it funny even if some people got pissed.

He mentioned in one of his videos that fighting is a mindset thing, always believe you'll win and you'll actually do it. He probably took his message a little too personally
@@onetoten1 New Age bs is thinking that a positive mindset will materialize into reality. People who doubt themselves, unless they have some type of coping mechanism, will "hesitate" and fumble. The best example in MMA is McGregor v Aldo, instead of seeing a true test of skill between fighters you saw a mentally defeated man throw a hail mary and getting KO'd in one shot. Was that New Age bs? No. Aldo's mentality didn't bend the universe into a reality where he loss. Aldo's mentality made him unable to perform. That's what made him lose.
I don’t hate paddy but I’ve always found him a bit obnoxious however I respect him for pushing the mental health awareness for men out there. This whole situation either stems from pride or ego, either he’s too prideful to admit he lost so it doesn’t worsen his career or he’s so delusional and egotistical he genuinely believes he won after he got his face smashed in by Gordon.
The fames gone to his head, what he doesn't realise is that they will drop him like a kebab on the floor of a Liverpool chippy once he's no longer lucrative. His manager, Dana, they don't care about him yet he doesn't see it.
I've been watching ufc since the vhs days but I'm no die hard fan, I'm a casual. But watching that fight, even I could see Paddy was beaten by a good bit, so I was shocked he won, and listening to him after the fight I was like "this guy is deluded"
i still love him. he didnt make the decision on that fight, it was decided by judges. his attitude is something everyone loved to begin with, his fans will be back. i wanna see him keep fighting
@Ehwhynot i disagree with this spoonfed regurgitation of a reply. Being humble doesnt lead to someone saying " Im a scouser, we dont get knocked out" and the many other things he has said to support the idea people didnt like him for being humble
two things you missed out: 1) Paddy trashing Ariel on his pod was even worse since Ariel had him on his show multiple times when he was totally unknown in the States and even coming off a loss in Cage Warriors. 2) Paddy begged for fight of the night but on the Embedded series was saying that he's too good for fight of the night (which means you were in a war) and he's only ever a candidate for performance of the night.
He actually does have a point about Ariel. Ariel has been a pompous, arrogant, boisterous pryk ever since I can remember. There are so many fighters that he’s talked down to ever since I can remember, many times in an attempted discreet way. Like the Diaz brothers, they’re not the best at giving interviews, and he tried to belittle them almost every time I had seen them give him an interview. But yeah paddy the fruity definitely showed his true colors after the Gordon fight. Was pretty despicable when he clearly lost

i dont see how people can take ariels side. paddy was talking about ariel always banging on about how dana and ufc should pay their fighters more yet he always earns money off the back of them for free with his youtube channel, which paddy himself knows how much income it generates. i just dont see how paddy is in the wrong for this lmao

Never understand the hype from the beginning, if you are not a casual, you can understand if a fighter is average, good or elite. Paddy is between average and good, he has good jiujitsu, and average striking, and average wrestling. Good to see people realize this at this point. He can never be in top 10 without improving his striking and his wrestling.
He will never be top 10 ever it's way too late and he has no discipline in between fights.....just like he said about areil he's not a real fighter he's a content creator.
Well said look at Claudio puelles who recently lost to Dan hooker, average striking no wrestling but good bjj that’s not gonna get u far enough to be considered elite in mma especially at 155
His personality has clearly made alot of people overlook his lack of important skills. Now that his personality is failing him and at the same time fighting guys at a higher level, his deficiencies are obvious. He is 28, so for him to succeed in the UFC, he needs to really get honest with himself.
Just curious, how many fighters that won a controversial split decision said “yeah I lost, that decision was a mistake”. The closest thing I’ve seen was Sean O’Malley who genuinely looked stunned when he got decision over Petr Yan. But short of admitting defeat he just basically “pleaded the 5th” by saying he would have to watch it for himself. I think Paddy honestly thought at the end of the fight w Gordon that he wiped the floor w him. I think that is based on things that you couldn’t see in the fight like whether or not he felt like he’d been hurt, which he clearly didn’t. Why would a person admit that they lost when they felt like they won and the judges said they won. Yeah I know Rogan looked surprised but he is not the single barometer. And people were honestly hateful toward him because he felt he deserved victory. Could he have done things differently from a PR standpoint? Sure, but at the end of the day, being hated pays as much or more than being loved in this game.

You can’t compare O’Malley vs Yan to Paddy vs an unranked bum. Yan landed takedowns yes but Sean kept getting straight up and Sean did some damage specifically with the knee and had basically no damage on himself. Paddy clearly lost all 3 rounds while O’Malley vs Yan was decided by inches in each round
I hear you feeling some remorse on dropping this after Paddy's mental health vid, but I honestly find it hard to believe his team would have posted that if his rep wasn't on such decline lately. Plus they switched the thumbnail on the video a few times, like they are really trying to get the views on it, and his general rapport with fans back up
Paddy has always backed mental health for males as he had a friend who unfortunately commited i feel like thats more of a team issue then a paddy issue
@@henryshih623 I actually disagree personally. I think it's totally reasonable to come to that conclusion though. Dolph Lundgren once said the worst thing that ever happened to him was he became a movie star before he ever became an actor due to Rocky IV. I think Paddy has the same problem. He got the fame before he had actually earned it.
No choice but to double down in a sport like MMA. He can’t backtrack or show weakness at this point. If he keeps moving forward and let his fighting speak for him he’ll be fine. Showmanship is a huge part of UFC for better or for worse.
I think it was less about his skill (or lack there of) and his win over Gordon and more to do with his responses to the win and backstabbing Ariel. To preach about suicide prevention and depression awareness is great, but then to attempt to bully Ariel and say things like "suck my ass hole" to his fans and "nobody loves, you've done nothing with your life," to Topuria makes Paddy seem extremely hypocritical. He's trying to act like Conor but Paddy fans aren't Conor fans. They're not going to eat that up and they're not going to like it. And Conor fans don't like Paddy because tbh he kinda sucks. He doesn't have the skill to back his trash talk up like Conor or Colby does.
I agree however There is a difference between ridiculous shit talking and genuine seriois issues ive said kys to people before and il always preach abt mental health just my thoughts imo
@@Aburner960 I'd say that's hypocritical. Inspire them to tell one another things like "nobody loves you" and "you've done nothing with your life" and "suck my asshole." He doesn't have those kinds of fans. Maybe Conor and Colby could say that and their fans would like it. But Paddy fans? They followed him not because of his skill or the trash talk but because of what he preached and stood for. What does he stand for now? To preach 1 thing and do another. That's fake. And maybe it'd be more tolerable if he was like 19 but he's 28. This is why I started to like and respect O'Malley alot more. Against Yan, the decision was controversial but definitely proved he's up there with the big names, and immediately after it was done, he said they might want to reconsider etc. Other than that it's clear he has respect for other fighters in general
Good point. I started liking O'Malley much more in the past few months than I did in his first few years. I didn't really like him at all then. He's since shown himself to be a pretty good dude actually, and I get now that much of what I didn't like has been me taking him too seriously when he's just being a goof and trolling a bit. My feelings on Paddy have been the exact opposite and I find him pretty unlikeable the more I hear from him.
Did you actually watch the fight? O'Malley was dominated the whole fight, Yan abused him and the only reason why O'Malley won is that Dana can advertise him well, as the new Mcgregor esque fighter, much more than what Dana can do with Yan.
+1 subscriber for your work and honesty. I personally still dig him as a fighter and he actually seems like a genuinely good person to hang out and/or train with, he's probably a bit too prideful at times. However he needs to step his game up and grow from his mistakes instead of finding excuses if that's what he does.
Even before this drama started, I wouldn't say that he was a hugely liked fighter overall tbh. He was a popular character that fans were generally excited to see fight no doubt about it, but there were already people that weren't fans of his antics and found him annoying because of all the weight ballooning, past xenophobic comments, vulnerabilities he was showing in his first few fights in the ufc, attempts at beefing with ilia topuria (who would, let's be honest, break paddy in half) etc. All this saga did was expose paddy's true colours and made fans realise just how out of touch paddy really is.
More of a boxing fan myself since I've been training since I was 12. Have only recently gotten into MMA about a year ago, so I am less familiar w the sport and personalities. However, I am seeing remarkable similarities between Paddy and Adrian Broner. Only difference so far is that Adrian doubled down on an epic loss to Pacquiao rather than a gift decision
Broner was significantly better than paddy ever will be tbh, broner was a good fighter at some point, paddy ain’t cracking the top 10 at his division maybe ever
That's a pretty decent comparison as far as stubborn egos go. Broner is an insufferably obnoxious underachiever but he makes me laugh. Paddy is an overhyped loudmouth that does not make me laugh.
@@primal_god Thanks bro. And I agree about Broner, being able to make people laugh. His interview after he beat Paulie Malignaggi was legendary and is still arguably one of the funniest post fight interviews of all time.
The key to reacting a gift win is to say that "I don't judge, I just fight as hard as I can can". When you come out say that you won when you clearly lost...ain't nobody got time for that.
when sean won against yan (before he started talking rubbish again) he said “i don’t know, i’ll have to watch it back to see what i think” or something like that. was a very respectful way to admit you might have lost without loosing pride or admitting you lost.
all set aside - I am a fan of Paddy "The Baddy" brings a lot of energy with him when he fights, makes it interesting! Never Quit. We all handle "life" individually and how we react is also as an individual. Sometimes we get it right, sometimes not so much. We are, after all, Humans.
The problem seems to be that his hype doesn’t translate to his actual potential. See with suga Sean at one point we all said he could fight trash cans but he still had a very close win (somewhat controversial) against the number one contender. Can we imagine paddy to do the same? Hell no. Nothing outstanding comes from paddy skill wise and potential wise however the way he talks, you would think he’s going to be something special. It’s hard to match make for him now considering how close his fight with Gordon was and I honestly don’t see a single top 15 fighter besides tony he may beat. Even that’s close as well….
Plus Sean was demolishing all the cans he was put up against. Paddy is having tough fights against guys like Jordan Leavitt and realistically just lost to Jared Gordon. He’s not gonna beat ranked guys fighting the way he is now.
Ye Sean surprised me. But Yan hasn't been the same since he got covid. I think covid messed with alot of fighters. Messed up a few locals in the gym here so I'm guessing it is widespread just not spoken about.
I think he definitely handled things poorly the last couple of weeks but like you said, it’s still early in his career and Paddy can fix it. I think the most sensible thing to do is admit the fight was a poor decision and make amends about the Ariel situation. I think if he just did those two things he would be back in good standing with the community.
Unfortunately it's almost definitely better for his career to not back down on the Ariel thing because that's what Dana wants and you get a lot farther being one of his favorites than his enemies most of the time.
Ur wrong. U aren't mentioning the most important thing. He was exposed. We know how good he is now. He's avg. So now there's no excitement around his potential...It's an unforgiving world, isn't it
@@ibrahimtall6209 no doubt, when he walked out I was getting Conor vibes, but Conor never had a sub par performance like that during his come up, with that being said I still look forward to watch him fight again, he’s still young and I think there’s a lot of potential for him to improve
How the hell he is considered young?? He is 28 years old, Conor was double champ when was 26. Everyone seems to forget his age and just keep saying he is saying smh
The best thing that can happen to that tool is that he fades into obscurity. The post Gordon fight interview, he truly showed his true colors and real personality. The whole “Paddy the baddy” is pretty cringe, fruity sounding slogan/motto to begin with.
I think the KEY detail in the Ariel thing is that there is a HUGE conflict of interest for Paddy's manager to be in charge of his negotiations/interviews while ALSO being paid and supported by the UFC umbrella.
great vid. it’s 6 am and there’s nothing i can do to stop the video blinding me except not look, although i’d really like to see the visuals and editing you do. could a darker screen suit you?
I know I'm getting old when somebody calls Ariel an OG MMA journalist when I can remember him just being somebody who came from professional wrestling like it was yesterday 😂
Not supporting Paddy here cuz most UK MMA fighters seem to waive that as they want to promote their brand and /or otherwise don't want to lose US exposure which is a bigger more lucrative market... But it should be noted this isn't AS BAD as it seems from US perspective where paying sources and interviews is considered an ethical violation.
I don't know much about the guy, but listening to this story it sounds to me like he's started believing in his own hype and has therefore begun to put too much pressure on himself to live up to it, which he can't really do because he's not actually the best fighter in the world even though he's good, leading him to just go into denial about it. He'll have to sort it out for himself, but it'll probably take time for him to do so. For his sake, I hope that by then, he hasn't done too many more stupid things.
The best thing out of all of this is him saying that anyone who thinks he lost that fight is a "hater" because we now know that just recently the judge in question Doug Crosby has been in the spotlight precisely for his judging antics.
He lost the fight and fans that week. I had a bet on paddy and even i was screaming at the tv saying this was a robbery lol. This was a clear 29-28 Gordon if not a 30-27. The post fight delusion, combined with all the unpleasantness with helwani pre fight, will make it hard for anyone to really cheer for him whole heartedly again.
I watched the fight the next day and I don't get this. They both took a lot of hits, and neither fighter looked good. Pretty much even, then Gordon wasted the third round, couldn't get Paddy down and wound up with Paddy on his back. And he's supposed to get the win? Joke.
negative attention in competitive sports especially in situations like his can have a negative impact. Instead of concentrating on what is essential he will have to deal with the consequences of this. As everyone knows full well he is a very emotional fighter. I imagine him training and all the time in the back of his head he is playing different scenarios. Ofc such thoughts will bother him the rest of the time as well - sometimes a lot other times not as much but still a huge waste of mental energy. During fight nights most likely it`d be worse and instead of being calm and collected thinking only about how to be most efficient in the current the match shutting down all other thoughts he will be looking at himself from the side trying to make a certain impression.
Even if people hate him there is still some form of being with the fans. Unless they stop talking about him which means he will not drag people into PPVs 🤷♂️
His decision win (and Sean O'Malley's win against Yan) really showcased the favoritism the UFC has for the more talkative fighters. These two go on podcasts and are generally somewhat entertaining, but rather than just building hype it also leads the UFC to have a financial incentive to make these guys win and keep em climbing the rankings.
I dont really get why everyone still speaks about yan vs o'malley. just because sean looks like six nine doesn't mean yall gotta hate on him. That fight was pretty close, but did you see o malley with a coin purse over his eye? damage, damage, damage.
This is not comparable to the O’Malley yan fight, Sean faced the number one guy and busted him up, paddy just arguably lost to some jobber and has gotten rocked in both his first two fights, Sean at least crushed the cans in front of him dominantly then when it came to facing someone elite he beat him
O'Malley won that fair and square aginst Yan, he demolished him in significant strikes over the 3 rounds. Takedowns dont mean shit if you can't do anything with them, you're just changing the level the fight is at.
Paddy is the most overrated and overhyped fighter I've ever seen he would get absolutely destroyed by anyone ranked and I had to deal with people saying he'll be a champion
chill man the paddy fan bootlickers will come out of the wood works to defend him 😅 cant believe that people genuinely believe that he is a future champ with his performance against gordon showing so many holes.
When Paddy bad mouthed Ariel that was crossing the line. When Paddy lost the fight to Gordon and was given the win anyway, that was enough. When Paddy said the fight with Gordon wasn't even close. He lost me as a fan right there.
It's the epitome of ignorance to blame Paddy for the judges decisions. BOTH fighters hugged out the final round and chose to take a chance on the judges decisions. You should watch something really lame, like soccer.

I dont hate him. Nothing has changed with me. He stood behind his victory and refused to grovel and apologize for accepting the decision. And, he felt like he won. How many times have we seen the losing fighter raise their hands in victory up until the victory is awarded to the other fighter. Are they delusional too? It's possible that they also thought they won, despite what the judges or anyone else thinks. It's understandable that he felt victorious because he wasn't hurt. He took left hooks but they didnt hurt him, as strikes to the side of the face are often painless. As far as him not granting an unpaid interview in favor of paid engagements, makes sense to me because these fighters need to get the money while they can as their careers could literally end and they can become irrelevant at any time...possibly in a matter of minutes. Paddy handled it like he handled it...he did not disrespect anyone except the people who viciously were attacking him. Not granting an unpaid interview is not disrespectful, it's just a business decision.
“he did not disrespect anyone except the people who viciously were attacking him” So him calling Ariel, a respected journalist who never said anything bad about Patty, a rodent isn’t disrespectful eh? Good to know buddy.
Just because someone says something good or profound, like raising awareness for men’s mental health for example, it does not absolve them of criticism. It does not make you a piece of shit for calling that out. Thanks for the video ❤️
Exactly. This was just a cheap attempt at ego damage control. Paddy the fruity showed who he really is in that Gordon post fight interview. A pompous, arrogant, delusional person.
Paddy was not dominated by Gordon. That was a close fight. Paddy is just Paddy, take it or leave it. I saw this type of attitude coming from him a mile away. As long as he keeps winning, I have no problems with Paddy.
the last point is kind of bs because i can’t name one person who wouldn’t be happy after winning a fight especially a ufc fight with millions watching. it’s a part of paddy’s character to say stuff to get him publicity and paddy is relatively new to the spotlight and has a valid point with the ariel situation. ariel is going to make hundreds of thousands off of pibletts name and likeliness. i believe he definitely deserves compensation for his time and likeness that he built from the ground up. overall at the end of the day he will still be loved by the ufc fan base.
Let's be honest he cannot go colby route, for that to work you have to back it up and we all know he can't. You can say that colby lost before but the thing is, he fought guys at the top of the food chain. He has good striking and good submissions. He also seems to have ultimate confidence in his ability to perform, which in my book is very important and not something you can train into.
While i do agree that confidence is important, i do think it is that confidence that has turned him delusional. Look i do think he can improve but the thing is to solve a problem you have to admit that there is a problem first but his ego is holding him back. Paddy is neither a good guy or a fighter that can beat anybody in the top 15 look at Arman Paddy started mma 3 years before him and look at all the killers he fought. If you geniunely think Paddy could turn this around then match him up against mckinney or anybody in the top 15-20 and lets see how he'll do. Paddy isn't a good fighter he is average or below average in everything and he has shocking striking defence.
I've been subscribed to you for a couple months now, and I've always thought that your pfp was a pic of you, so I always thought "Man this guy sure looks a lot like Manny Pacquiao". I just fucking realized thats actually Manny Pacquiao and I feel like an idiot lol.
Good video. I was one of those lost fans. Sure, his mental health thing is good, but at this point I feel like I've seen Paddy's true colors so unfortunately doubt how genuine it is. Jared Gorden gained a fain in me and he lives the message he's spreading.
I simply can't hate the guy. I'm a scouser myself and this guy has put on such a good show and I'm genuinely so proud of him. It's still early days for him and he's under so much pressure to be the best. I can't sit here with a straight face and tell you guys that I'd be any different if I was living his life. Give him time to work through this before we make an absolute judgement on his character, that's all I ask.
He is a young boy still. After a bit of time he can own up to this. People do love a redemption arc. With a bit of maturity and smarts, he can make this a positive. But it is all on him and no one else. He seems nice, so I am rooting for that outcome.
Is this a troll? Paddy is soon 28 years old, what is up with people calling grown adults "still kids" or "young boys" when they have to defend just shitty behaviour?:D

Particularly when there is a chance he is actually just a sociopath. I have always got a weird feeling about Paddy. Desperate for attention with a terrible attitude and a backstabby nature imho. I think he just said the mental health stuff because he saw how much positive press Tyson Fury got when he did the same.
I have yet get to see any criticism and not just moaning and bitching.
exactly, he's just doing damage control after humiliating himself recently
The thing with Paddy is he’s been training at a gym his hole life with no elite fighters so now he’s the best in his gym he thinks that’s going to transfer over to the UFC. It was only last month he was saying that his gym is going to be known soon that it’s the best gym in the world 🥴 but after Mollys and Paddy’s last fights it’s pretty obvious he’s training with little fish and he’s not as good as what some people thought. He needs to be in a gym with elite fighters or other UFC fighters that all train under one roof if he even wants to continue a career in the UFC.
Well said
The exact same thing happened with Bryce Mitchell. He's got a little more time to make a legit change, however I doubt that he will.
@@cooke828 Shame, I feel a lot of fighters make the same mistake - and if they end up moving Gyms it's usually too late and they've wasted a big chunk of their careers

His speech about mental health touched my soul. He's arrogant, but he has a big heart. I hope Paddy humbles himself and has a successful career.
Yeah hopefully he matures with time. We will see.

You know whats crazy is i didnt even realize he dropped off until today. Just popped into my head like where TF is that guy he used to be everywhere

The best thing that can happen to that tool is that he fades into obscurity. The post Gordon fight interview, he truly showed his true colors and real personality. The whole “Paddy the baddy” is pretty cringe, fruity sounding slogan/motto to begin with.

Greetings from Avondale Florida
Great video Tj, I know you linked the music creator but what is the name of the first track you used?
Bro, the algorithm brought me here and I've never been happier. Keep up the grind this channel is going to 100k easily.
UNDERRATED CZcamsR KEEP UP THE GOOD VIDEOS!
Daaaaaang, I needed to hear this
It’s hilarious how much charity is given to paddy for bring awareness to mental health.
I think the KEY detail in the Ariel thing is that there is a HUGE conflict of interest for Paddy's manager to be in charge of his negotiations/interviews while ALSO being paid and supported by the UFC umbrella.
you mean ariel helwani is to ufc what craig sager is nba. that stephen a. smith analogy was terrible but i get your point
Thanks I couldn’t get a good analogy
Throwing insults at Mr. Sager.
great vid. it’s 6 am and there’s nothing i can do to stop the video blinding me except not look, although i’d really like to see the visuals and editing you do. could a darker screen suit you?
A few good decisions and Paddy will be back on top! Go Paddy The Baddy Love from Wrexham.
Na his names dead now
he’s never been at the too
One of those decisions should be learning defense.
I know I'm getting old when somebody calls Ariel an OG MMA journalist when I can remember him just being somebody who came from professional wrestling like it was yesterday 😂
in zuffa era he’s definitely og
I liked Paddy, but then he started acting larger than his checks.
In the UK, journalism with celebrities and high value sources is often paid for. Cultural difference.
Can't believe you mentioned his name along side Bisbing a true English legend
Great video brother. I would love to see you do a video on Teofimo Lopez and his current situation. Appreciate all the content.
For his sake, I hope that by then, he hasn't done too many more stupid things.
he trashed the man that covered him before dana even knew his name, Ariel is a voice for the fighters , dana is not
Yup.... But also No,, he was a cocky bitch from the get go,,
I don’t even remember a moment when this dude was likeable
Work is work brother.. I see you working..
The best thing out of all of this is him saying that anyone who thinks he lost that fight is a "hater" because we now know that just recently the judge in question Doug Crosby has been in the spotlight precisely for his judging antics.
Seems like even the ppl who won betting on paddy are saying it’s bs 😂
The higher they rise the harder they fall. Like humbleness is rare trait to maintain in any physical sports. But well you reap what you sow.
Boring
I watched the fight the next day and I don't get this. They both took a lot of hits, and neither fighter looked good. Pretty much even, then Gordon wasted the third round, couldn't get Paddy down and wound up with Paddy on his back. And he's supposed to get the win? Joke.
@@rt-uh6mt he took him down twice in the third
“So im gonna drop it anyways” how you became hated in one video
How do you know he's such a good guy? You seemed 100% sure
Because of his haircut and accent
@@ronfroehlich4697 damn you got me there thats so true
Hate him or love him. This guy knows how to get attention on himself. And that's exactly what he is looking for.
This is such an NPC take
@@Avogadros_number Its kinda true tho
That’s what the ufc is looking for
Till he gets more than he can bargain for and obtains a losing a streak.
negative attention in competitive sports especially in situations like his can have a negative impact.
I love your videos man been here since 15k
His decision win (and Sean O'Malley's win against Yan) really showcased the favoritism the UFC has for the more talkative fighters. These two go on podcasts and are generally somewhat entertaining, but rather than just building hype it also leads the UFC to have a financial incentive to make these guys win and keep em climbing the rankings.
It also takes all integrity away from the sport
@@jacobjacobs8264 UFC don't have much integrity has been a longe time, that's why I watch just a few events, rather see One Championship
What is this picture slide show, put in clips and take away the white background

I'm a bigger fan than ever. What a delightful heel turn, almost like something out of Pro Wrasslin
He lost tho
I won't argue with that. I just think he's an entertaining character
Lmaoooo absolute W take, what a chad. A true connoisseur of pure entertainment factor. 😂
@@nickbeemer what a karen you are you pervert

Paddy is the most overrated and overhyped fighter I've ever seen he would get absolutely destroyed by anyone ranked and I had to deal with people saying he'll be a champion
chill man the paddy fan bootlickers will come out of the wood works to defend him 😅
cant believe that people genuinely believe that he is a future champ with his performance against gordon showing so many holes.
suggestion for future videos, have videos of paddy playing in the back when talking about him because it’s boring watching a google slideshow
Your background music is an absolute tragedy! Sounds like a broken clock randomly ticking
Everyone has bad mouthed Ariel, what does that have to do with anything
@@diccschtuccr590 Paddy was lying, thats what it has to do with this. Simple.
@@alan8887 or maybe you're just an ariel fanboy (which is an all time low in on itself) who can't take people being mean to you and expect the world to be full of unicorns?
@@westpole Nothing wrong with Ariel whatsoever. You sir are a lemming. You FOLLOW everyone else off a cliff if thats what the majority requires.
This is the right answer
“he did not disrespect anyone except the people who viciously were attacking him” So him calling Ariel, a respected journalist who never said anything bad about Patty, a rodent isn’t disrespectful eh? Good to know buddy.
@@brianjc720 ariel is a twat tbf
Paddy is no good.
Facts!
Helwani IS a rat, hes spot on with that comment.
I thank he is a good dude every thing I see him in he is vary humble.
Paddy was not dominated by Gordon. That was a close fight. Paddy is just Paddy, take it or leave it. I saw this type of attitude coming from him a mile away. As long as he keeps winning, I have no problems with Paddy.
Mma fans are fickle one good win and he'll be loved again....but I personally always thought he was a tool
money is a drug and judging by his eating habits he wants lots of it😂
Pervert
Meanwhile we have GSP, who continues to be probably the most liked fighter overall.
the last point is kind of bs because i can’t name one person who wouldn’t be happy after winning a fight especially a ufc fight with millions watching. it’s a part of paddy’s character to say stuff to get him publicity and paddy is relatively new to the spotlight and has a valid point with the ariel situation. ariel is going to make hundreds of thousands off of pibletts name and likeliness. i believe he definitely deserves compensation for his time and likeness that he built from the ground up. overall at the end of the day he will still be loved by the ufc fan base.
He didn't lose shit. He just went from being a face to a heel. I hope he embraces it and goes all in like Colby. He will make more money that way.
Let's be honest he cannot go colby route, for that to work you have to back it up and we all know he can't.
You can say that colby lost before but the thing is, he fought guys at the top of the food chain.
Paddy is not gonna improve and that's a shame, it's been one a half year and he is virtually the same fighter with the same weakness. Bisping pointed out his weakness in his first ufc fight and to this day it's still the same.
@@lazy_sl0th He made adjustments mid fight against Gordon and started tucking his chin after he got tagged. Im not saying he doesn't have weaknesses, but to say he can't grow as a fighter is not something I agree with. He just hasn't HAD to grow yet. His chin has held up.
Him losing to gordon would have been the better outcome to humble him but now he will have to fight the next best guy who will probably knock his ass.
He didn't lose his fans, just made his haters even more mad 😂😂😂

Me too. Everyone else is acting like this is destroying his career. I think he can bounce back
@@ryanjung4416 exactly, rooting for the humble to stay there and the hard work, as he gets deeper into the UFC, it’ll require to grow as a fighter and person
@@ryanjung4416 His careers isn't over it's only the hardcore internet types who are surprisingly fickle. At the end of the day the UFC are still pushing him heavily. for now and even if he messed up here he seems to be someone who understands that in UFC to get on your personality has to be as big as your fight.
its in the name, man: Paddy the Baddy did his heel turn. Coming off a gifted decision, it's hard to think of a better way to get eyeballs on your next fight than to act like he won and it was the a FOTN candidate. Whether the people tune in to see you win or get knocked out doesnt matter as long as they're watching and paying.
this, and i think there's some of DW's doing in this too... create some drama and a love to hate character, then watch the next ppv with him break record numbers
People just have TikTok brain and switch gears super fast.
The people of liverpool will always love paddy
Paddy is neither a good guy or a fighter that can beat anybody in the top 15 look at Arman Paddy started mma 3 years before him and look at all the killers he fought. If you geniunely think Paddy could turn this around then match him up against mckinney or anybody in the top 15-20 and lets see how he'll do. Paddy isn't a good fighter he is average or below average in everything and he has shocking striking defence.
Paddy went from likable to hated in a week.
*Laughs in Khamzat*

I've been subscribed to you for a couple months now, and I've always thought that your pfp was a pic of you, so I always thought "Man this guy sure looks a lot like Manny Pacquiao". I just fucking realized thats actually Manny Pacquiao and I feel like an idiot lol.
He never really lost me as a fan personally.

Good video. I was one of those lost fans. Sure, his mental health thing is good, but at this point I feel like I've seen Paddy's true colors so unfortunately doubt how genuine it is. Jared Gorden gained a fain in me and he lives the message he's spreading.
Jared Gordon is a class act, he has one of the best mentalities in the sport
Love the background toon

We said the same thing about Conor’s cockiness…look how that’s turned out 🤣
