  • "Pain is life. Life is painful. You gotta push yourself extremely hard just to be able to take the pain. That's where it seperates a lot of people. It's because they are not willing to go the extra mile to put themselves through that pain and the soreness that it requires to make progress. Those that have it, have that heart, have that drive and have the mental toughness to become champions." noted retired IFBB Pro Branch Warren as he warms up to train shoulders with IFBB Pro Johnny Jackson. Go behind the scenes with the kings of hardcore at the original Metroflex Gym in Arlington, Texas.
    "You have to learn to be comfortable being uncomfortable." It's that drive and determination that propelled Warren to succeed as one of the best bodybuilders of his era. Branch fuels his every day recovery with Apollon Nutrition's Enigma V2 complete EAA + BCAA recovery matrix with electrolytes by taking 1-2 scoops after training.
    Branch preaches "I think what's different about bodybuilding than most professional sports, is to grow and get better you gonna subject yourself to pain willingly. The mental toughness you have to overcome that and keep going. The average person is capable of doing much so much more than what they realize if they just have the mental toughness to do it."
    Take it from Branch, though retired, he continues to surround himself with the right people and trains as hard as he did when he was competing on the world's biggest stage.

    You have to think though from a realistic point of view why train the way he does and did everytime if he never got round to winning at the Olympia.... sometimes you got to think smart if your not winning then your doing something wrong surely or you just don't have what it takes

      @@jeremiahlesleawilder5329 This is fallacious. Logically it doesn’t t make sense. There’s no way to tell if he trained with perfect form if we would’ve won shows or gotten magazine covers. That doesn’t mean it’s the right way to train and it doesn’t mean it’s conducive to longevity, health, and beauty. I’d argue that if he worked just as hard, but with more concern for his joints and tendons; by training with a higher emphasis on slow controlled muscle contractions and by using perfect form, he would be in a better place physically. I would argue he would looks less bloated and he would certainly not be in as much pain as he is in today. Same goes with Ronnie Coleman. Don’t train like this. It’s horrible. He could’ve trained perfectly and still been in the best shape of his life. It’s a joke to think that he got his physique by training the way he did. If that was the only way to gain muscle no one else would be a successful bodybuilder.

    • @majungasaurusaaaa
      @majungasaurusaaaa Před 2 lety

      On a serious note, Branch has no more gym injuries than the avg IFBB pro considering how he trains. While Dorian Yates, who is known for strict form, has a catastrophic tear every 3 years or so during the height of his career.

    Does he train with good form? He is absolutly huge But should not he control The weights, not The opposite?

    • @victorprokop2240
      @victorprokop2240 Před 3 lety +2

      Controlling weights can build a good shape, but power and heavy weights can do too!

    • @majungasaurusaaaa
      @majungasaurusaaaa Před 2 lety

      He is controlling the weight. "Good form" is what you feel, not what it looks like. The person looking at you is not the one training.
