Which tone did you use? Was it in the tone cloud? Awesome vid btw 🤘🤘
Mother buy danzing south carolina
As I mentioned about pulling over fretcorner or off fretboard on my mod Kirk Hammett pulls the high E off fretboard on the final bend of 2nd solo. It’s pretty interesting to see what you can achieve beyond standard playing styles

Ur lil hustler My Beautiful Sophie Bear, I like that quality about U My Beautiful sales Lady♥️😊
I love how I'm serious when I'm playing a song but when I'm learning one I play random stuff 24/7 making it take 20times longer than it should
I'm in the same raft too.
Hahaha seriously, I'll be sitting there playing some random riff then I'm like hang on, I'm supposed to be learning track "x"
ecactly
Same
Dude fucking same, you go from going over what your learning to just fucking about
So she starts playing and I’m like “yeah she can clearly play alright let’s see how this goes” then she starts putting bits and pieces together and I’m like “you had my curiosity, now you have my attention”. And then she cranks the speed up and just puts it all together…. Oh Lordy. Impressive.
simp
Fun fact: They did actually record it slower and then speed up the recording. They do play it live at full speed, though, or sometimes faster depending on how Lars is feeling.
These are great videos. 🤣 It really helps others feel better about the learning process seeing someone who is a role model educator do it themselves
And what’s more, with A SENSE OF HUMOR. Sophie needs to keep this angle as much as the display of chops. She’s a Diamond when she combines the two.
Second that motion
That's actually what I just thought when I watched this vid. I've been learning guitar solos for ages already but it never changes. And then you see someone else put a solo together and it looks exactly like when I'm doing it.
I’m not gonna lie, I hit a wall and didn’t wanna practice. Even though I knew how to practice, I never stuck out the process. But sitting and watching you learn a song, not be good at it right away and still sound as good as you are in other videos just awoke the fire in me that 18 year old me used to have when I finally learnt how to do solo’s and stuff. Can’t wait until I’ve finally pushed passed the boundaries that I wanted to surpass years ago
I also get that anxiety/adrenaline when I'm learning new stuff. I'm always like "settle the fk down man" but I never do until I have it down perfectly.
I live for that feeling!
Your honesty about the journey is encouraging, thanks
So like this! When I try to play my electric guitar unplugged learning a new song and sounds awful and feel like giving up I hear a true exellant guitarist like you feel the same. An inspiration
Appreciate this very much an honest approach we are all human , great inspiration. I’ve been avoiding this main solo for along time , time to buckle down like you and get it done !
Loved this Sophie! It was great to see that we all struggle along to learn a new song. I wish it only took me an hour! It takes me weeks sometimes!
The Spark certainly is an amazing amp too!
Wow, that's seriously epic actually watching someone figuring out something that feels like it's from another planet. Makes it feel attainable, almost like I could do it myself (until I actually pick up my guitar that is)
=/
Nice one Sophie, love watching this scenario, and how you get get round it. Hats off. Smashed it.
Cleaner in an hour than I was after a week of learning it.
Killer tone, too!
Yup. What she calls sloppy is a level God to me... Would probably never achieve that. But it's alright, we can't be all virtuosos ;)
Luv that you had Cole’s video up as part of the learning process!
😍 Always enjoy these videos!
I was planning on learning this pretty soon. Seeing too get through it has inspired me and taken away any doubt or nervousness I have about it.
What are you trying to say
@@joemackenzie7417 that she inspired him to not be nervous and take the learning process head on 😑
@@carlosmunoz1484 oh thanks, I cant read so that helped...seemed there may have been an implication beneath the surface of the statement; suggesting if a girl can learn it; so can he
@@joemackenzie7417 always give the benefit of the doubt he probably didnt mean anything bad by it since he was positive and she liked the comment
@@carlosmunoz1484 I know I was just being a dick; starting drama 🤣
super fun video ! loved especially seeing/watching your "quirks"
I really enjoy your personality in these learning videos. Well done, too.
Wow u nailed it in such a short time, loved it
You are so talented and hilarious! I love your dry sense of humor. Going into "My Heart Will Go On" with the effed up flute for a split second was great!! Love your vids!! Crumble..start crying. LOL
Love these ‘learning process’ videos. Here’s a challenge that’s been bending my ears over the last couple of weeks on and off… the guitar solo in Animotion’s cover of Obsession. Mostly pretty simple in D but a couple of speedy runs buried in a dense mix that are giving me grief. See if you can get them…
I love how your like, We could totally slow this down about 12%, but in all reality, when playing live they are probably playing it 10%-15% faster than studio. Quite funny really, but either way, you killed this for one hour.
Hahahaha so true, honestly I dunno how they do it…caffeine overdose? 🥲
@@SophieBurrell '86 alcohollica in full force
It's because they are not good at keeping time :) Faster of Puppets makes it all better.
At the end of the day trying to play a clean solo from a guy that doesn’t even play it clean live now is a feat in itself
😂😂😂😂
yo better wash your mouth before talking sh*t about kirk
Smashed it. Love the honest content of you screwing up before you get it nailed. Thanks.
So much fun to watch. Keep up the great content.
I love the way the video was edited. So amusing.
I used to play in a band that played a lot of Metallica, so I know the feeling, Sophie. They play everything on hyper speed.
That was cool! Seriously very inspiring!
Great video, fun to watch. Great job on that solo for the time put in.
You're terrific. That's why we love you !!! New subscriber !!!
MOPs in an hour v.impressive. Really enjoyed seeing you learn it. Great job Sophie
I LOVE these kind of videos! soo interesting, keep going :D
Thanx for sharing this, I think is the first time ever I watch a guitarist when learning a solo vid.
Loving the edit, Sophie :D
absolutley brilliant guitarist your are you should be sooooo proud of yourself
WoW ! Amazing !! 👏🏼 i love your guitar ! 😍
Good job on the solo. I learned it fast for my cover of master too.
Sophie, you amazing! 😍 Would love to hear the section after the solo..
The down picking hetfield riffs i’ve been still working on for the last year and a half lol Finally reached 90% the other day haha
Im stuck at the scales at the end. But can downpick all of the song.
Hell yeah 🤘 I hope to be as good at playing someday! Just started learning to play. So fun 😁
Wow, really impressive for an hours work!!
I learned Master of Puppets way back when I had only been playing two years or so (albeit about 8 hours a day for that two years… .). It took me two weeks to learn it spot on for the rhythm sections and the lead somewhat sloppily. After anothe 10:50 r 35 years, you’ve given me inspiration to go back and learn the lead properly!
You’re awesome Sophie, keep it up!!
I didn’t think that I would watch another CZcamsr named Sofia after finding Sophie Lloyd, I was wrong. You are inspiring to watch, especially for someone who has never reproduced said solo better than you have in an hour. I have been playing since 1994😬
Wow, that edition level is insane. Congratts
YES! Some long awaited Tallica. Very sick!
Absolutely amazing Sophie
Respect respect respect
How you can learn and bring this up to speed so quickly is simply awesome, 👍🎸💯😎
Great humour , and great tone from the Spark mini 💯
Next in the series , a Tremonti solo from Marching in time🎸😎
This is fascinating. Thanks for sharing this process.
Feels awkward that we can’t hear the music to me.
A new video of Sophie is a good way to start my morning with a cup of cofee 👍
Awesome video Sophie 😊👍👍
Fantastic video sophie very interesting to see how quickly you learn a tune🎸🎸🌟🌟❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great job, i learned this solo like 4 years ago and NEVER got it up to speed. Think I might have to revisit it and see how I stack up these days
I love how you are showing everyone how nothing is free. Also, that guitar is 🔥.
I think it’s awesome can’t wait to hear it
It's a really cool video that shows people that you have to hard work to nail it :)
I'm form Brazil and I just saw you for the first time playing Sultans of swing and blowed up my mind.. you are very talented and one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen 😵💫 keep on rockin 😉🤘🏻
OMG that last attempt sounded so freaking good.
@sophie Burrell. It took me weeks to learn this solo. You’re over here learning it in like an hour. Hahahaha. Good job girl. I’m inspired.
Holy S*** you figured out and played perfectly an iconic solo from one of the metal masters within one hour. Can't say I'm surprised, you are a stellar talent.
I'm surprised you believed that she learned it in an hour ...
I know obviously was an hour and 10 minutes
@@kokoriko999 It’s not an insanely difficult solo or anything. It’s pretty likely that she learnt it in an hour.
@@ethanpederson You either simp or you don't play . the whole thing is BS
Your fingers look beautiful.
It's a symbol of hard work well done.
You don't need to worry about the tips of your fingers cause the rest of you is absolutely breathtaking.
FERDA
This is Great Sophie🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I love these videos,,lot of fun
The new spark mini is awesome and somebody’s fabulous
That’s actually really impressive! New sub 👍
I am quite impressed. I stick to mostly original works for the pure reason that being a musician for over 50 years I am more in tune to my own ways and my own path musically. I greatly admire however those who can do honest justified renditions of famous works. I salute you.
Takes time doesn't it. Love that practice amp. Get sound. Love my Fender mustang micro. Fantastic for learning riff. The flat top finger 🤘 tips. 😊
That was really cool! Thanks
Super impressive that you can learn it that fast!!!
That was freaking awesome!
Wow! You are awesome!
cool learning process! i use a similar one when learning but with ultimate guitar pro starting really slowly and building speed. think i need to try yours to improve my ear more
i love this video straight to the point playing around etc i just got a new guitar so this is basically what i have been doing lately lol
Your Awesome !
Great video, please make an album ! I love your PRS !
Thank you for this video 😁
That was awesome I love it!!!!!
Ellie, Lily and I sat around watching this shit, nice one, Ellie's been bugging you to do this one for ages
Just... Wow! Been tryin to play this for years.
Bloody hell! Fire flyin from your finger tips 😂🤘
Thanks!
Really cool keep it up🤘🤘🤘🤘
Nice watching others learn you can learn along and pick up things from watching you play very nice
Love these! Would be cool to see you try the guitar solo from "Right Now" by Van Halen
inspiring!
Great video, I’m still trying to play by ear. The solos are tougher than the rhythm for me. Thanks for the motivation!!!
Awesome video SOPHIE. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible weekend. Much love. Hugs
This is insane. The solo is the one thing I cannot get down whenever I play and it’s so frustrating lol
Brilliant 👏
I have to clear up just a little of my last text about going on CZcams and learning a song in 15 minutes but when you absolutely have to get it down oh yeah and absolutely takes a couple hours again very good Sophie and your gorgeous hair
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 That's it!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Great job and great video! I'd like to actually hear one of those amplifiers before buying. The last practice amp I purchased was the Orange Micro Terror mini stack and was terribly disappointed by it.
I also had problems on this one, but now it's ok. It became fun 🙂🤘🤘
That was really impressive! Now I'd love to see you try to learn the solo of Tornado of Souls by Megadeth, that would be interesting! Keep rocking 🤘
good video! I haven't attempted to learn that solo yet.
Music is Life
nice positive grid, spark mini, it was a nice outtake.
Great video!!!
Good tone from the spark
Incredible
Best channel on CZcams
Awesomeeeee!!! You learned the solo in an hour I been trying to learn the intro to fade to black for 4 months lmao forget the solo 😂😅🔥🔥🔥
