How many ungodly hours did you practice to become that good so damn young? I mean there are players that can cover songs and there are so good clean technical players that just nailed it - you are really fucking good.

If you want to improve picking hand technique, Metallica songs are a great place to start because there's a LOT of picking hand work (what with James being a downpicking machine and whatnot). Love the PRS color btw!

I have the opposite problem. I can pick super fast but, my fretting hand doesn’t want any part of that. I did have severe nerve damage due to a car accident in my youth. I feel like that is lasting damage for my fretting hand. Recently I’ve been struggling on the main “riff” of YYZ I’m sure it’s really not that hard to most competent players but, for me, it’s more times than not an EXTREMELY difficult task to play at tempo. I’ve played 10 years, only started seriously trying to learn the last couple years. I appreciate the tips and getting a look at your practice routine. Beautiful PRS. The SEs are super legit players.

I was using a heavy pick for lead and everything for a long time, then tried a thin pick and chording and all sounds better with band. I was too loud playing with band, so thin pick corrected volume problems.

Not sure if its legal in the U.K but i use weed cream(Marijuana) on my hands for contact dermatitis. It works wonders. Dont know maybe worth a shot? Great vids 🇨🇦
