That's really fucking hard. I've played in a Metallica tribute band (doing the Het part) and that's hard as fuck. Even John Petrucci could't play all that with downpicking...
Peter Tahoe Master of Puppets is not difficult to sing and play. Most of the stuff up until MoP is easy. Justice gets a little hard because of all the random timing/ riffs.

Hi Metallica, my 2 cents: - ROB MUST BE THIS LOUD FOREVER MORE - Hire this sound guy, and pay him to do every show - Keep this energy at all your shows, not just for Howard LOL - Tell Lars he did a good job, he needs to be told this every 6 hours so he doesn't implode
It's a matter of recording directly out of the AxeFX in a small space vs sending it through a busted old PA in a concrete room where the phase issues and reflections are hell on earth. There's just no way to see big bands with good audio the venues suck especially for complex metal stuff.
What James is hearing in his in-ears isnt going to effect direct outs from the desk or what's being broadcast, if he wants more Bass he'll get more Bass in his in-ears from an auxiliary channel which isn't going effect the overall mix levels.
I never said that he is asking for the level that the audience hear to be turned up, I know how monitoring works. I just thought it was a cool coincidence that he is asking for Rob to be turned up because we are enjoying the sound of the bass in the mix. Edit: what is wrong with CZcams at the moment? it looks like I am talking to myself and there are no other replies hehe
