    So far so good with this vacuum. czcams.com/users/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

    I have an Ilife 400 and love it. no big deal to pick it up and put it back on charging station when done. only negative I have found is it cleans two 10 x 15 rooms and then should be put on charge. not a deal breaker tho. The only real mop robot in existence so far is the ILIFE Shinebot. This one actually has two water tanks, one with clean water and one where it collects dirty water, and uses a roller to clean instead of a mop. Mopping is not scrubbing, mopping is spreading the dirt on the floor.

    I thought about taking notes about each robot to compare which one I want. Here are the notes if anyone is interested:
    Narwal
    - Watch other video
    Veniibot N1
    - Easiest to use; just fill the water and leave it. Clean the pad once the robot is done.
    - Station cleans the pad automatically.
    - Live map tracking.
    - Can vaccum and/or mop. This is good because if it reaches a carpet it disable moping and vacuums only.
    - Newer products so there might be malfunctions. Maybe.
    Roborock S6
    - Washable and disposable pads.
    - 2 water spraying settings to choose.
    - You can remove the mopping attachment if you don't want wet mopping.
    - Does not know the difference between hard floor and carpet; you have to manually remove the mopping attachment so it doesn't wet your carpet.
    - Do not use cleaning solution with this one beacause it would destory water droplets.
    - Good vacuum cleaner.
    - Very good navigation.
    Braava Jet m6
    - Best one for deep cleaning because of back and forth mopping motion.
    - Designed for a larger area with larger pad and watertank.
    - Disposable pads.
    - Can spray water as it goes.
    - Automatic recharge.
    - Detects and avoids carpet.
    Braava Jet 240
    - Cheaper but still with great features.
    - Smaller robot for smaller areas.
    - Bad navigation.
    - Vibrating mopping head.
    - Curved mopping pattern with back and forth motion.
    - Does not recognize carpets.
    - Manual battery charge on a seperate cradle.
    - Disposable pads.
    iLife w400
    - Roller pad.
    - Noisy.
    - Manual recharching.
    - Works with its dedicated remote.
    - No wifi and no phone app capability.

  • @Vortechtral
    @Vortechtral Pƙed 4 lety +6

    The m6 didn't seem to mop very well. With the perfect light, it almost seemed like the pad absorbed all the solution not allowing a very good mop job, or it doesn't spray enough of the solution to get a nice spread on the mopping. There were dry spots every single pass, some of the dry spots were almost right in the middle of the pad. Are the washable pads much better, and do a better job then the disposable ones? I like the idea of the IRobot's where one vacuums then the other comes out to mop so you don't mix things. Like your previous video with the Veniibot and the ketchup, you don't want your extractors getting all the gooey goodness the mop wants. Though I guess that means you also buy 2 machines versus 1. Ups and downs to everything!

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  Pƙed 4 lety +5

      So the m6 didn’t perform well because I put the setting on extended coverage and less spray. The reason I wanted to do this is to give each robot the exact same cleaning pattern and time. The Roborock S6 and Veniibot will race through this area in 5 minutes where the m6 could take up to 30 minutes if I had it on detailed clean. Just from my experience the m6 can do the best in mopping if in the deep mode. Sorry for the confusion, once I get the s5 Max I will allow the m6 to do a detailed cleaning

      The iLife w400 probably has one of the best navigation abilities interms of a robot that lacks a navigation camera and LIDAR system. Does well with obstacles and carpet detection. How does the iLife clean? The mop looks like what Bissell uses on the Crosswave (which leaves a lot of streaks). But, for real floor cleaning, seems like the ones that periodically clean the mop head and put down / suck up solution would be the best. The Veniibot does those things, but it looked huge compared to the others and is an unknown in the US. Looking forward to your review of the S5 Max. Maybe with regular use, this kind of mop would be OK. Obviously, none of them are for heavy cleaning.

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  Pƙed 4 lety

      The iLife w400 uses the same cleaning principle as a Carpet Cleaner. Puts down water on the floor, uses the water to clean and help remove stains off the floor using the spinning brush. Sucks up dirty liquid than finishes up with a scraper to get an even cleanup. The iLife is designed for wet mopping jobs. The S5 Max delayed stuck in DHL warehouse in Hong Kong.

      petermazbabie all the new mopping robots are just robotic swiffers. They just push the dirt around. The only robotic floor washer that actually cleans - properly - was the Scooba line from iRobot, which was discontinued. But they performed FANTASTIC and picked up 99% of dirt and bacteria on the floor guaranteed. Since the scooba is no more, the iLife w400 is now the only robot currently on the market that lays down fresh cleaner, mechanically scrubs it, and vacuums and squeegees the dirty water into a separate tank. No other robotic “mop” on the market even remotely compares to this system. It’s a shame they discontinued the Scooba line, I still have one and it’s been going strong for 10 years now

I was LIVID. If they are charging $1000 for a floor washer you damnwell hope it lasts at least 10 years.
