After watching this.. I must say human is the best Robot no one can replace đđ
Haha yes, nothing can beat the all mighty human đ»
Wait a few years ,it always take few decades for tech to peak to its max potential.
When the roomba first went into the bathroom it really did look like it was saying âokay, where do I even start with all this?!?â đ
Hahaha, start in the middle
đđ
Haha! I was thinking almost the same, I imagined after the roomba went into that bathroom the first time it said to himself "I would never ever come back to this room and will avoid it in my entire life".
đ
Idk why im watching this. I dont even own one.
LOL đ
you're gorgeous
Well, after watching this I'm selling one ,lol
Why am I watching Top Gun? I don't even own a fighter jet.

Omg using a broom and dustpan wouldve been 10x faster ..good review tho
Hahaha yep would of been faster and less messy đ
Just thought that đ€Ł
@queen F 10 times cheaper as well
Haha
I felt the same way
Umm.... you would have had to do that though. You're missing the point of a robot

Hahaha yes!!!
It's not meant to clean up that much of anything. You expect FAR too much. It's more of a maintenance cleaner than a primary vac.
Thanks for your feedback, yes I agree they are maintenance cleaners and still recommend using a regular vacuum cleaner.

nice work IROBOT, you still haven't figured out how to make your Roombas able to see with a camera like Shark or Dyson robotic vacuums.

I got an i7 plus and it died after it's first run. Thankfully customer support was solid and they are sending me a replacement motor. So I have to wait a couple days to use it again. When it worked it was awesome tho!
Thanks for sharing your experience. Hopefully the 2nd unit performs as it should đŹ.

I have two cleaning robots. The Sharp self emptying and a very old Neato D80. There are pros and cons to both. I love the self-emptying feature of Sharp, but the app keeps losing the mapping of my house which is annoying. It also takes a long time to clean. The Neato is faster due to the LIDAR sensor. This old Neato has broken down twice on me, but fortunately I was able to fix it myself. The first issue was with the bumper detection switches. They broke so the Neato would try to keep going when something was in the way. It was 5 years old so I bought the new Neato D7. I used it once a week to clean and after 57 weeks (right after the warranty expired) this $900 robot broke. The LIDAR sensor motherboard went on it. The cost to repair? $500. Insanity. So that went into the recycling bin and Iâd never buy the newer Neato models. Quality is gone. Itâs a shame because they work the best as far as navigation and cleaning goes, but they cost a lot and do not last. So my old Neato is now 8 years old and I repaired it by buying new bumper switches and installing them myself. After 3 months it broke again. This time it was complaining about being jammed in even when there were no walls near it. Using a flashlight I noticed the laser was spinning slowly and erratically. I guessed it was the rubber o-ring from the motor was likely worn out. I bought a new one for $15 and now itâs working again. Not sure for how much longer. Iâm hoping to get a year out of it.
Thank you for these videos. I love seeing the differences between the machines. When I go to make my next purchase Iâll have a better idea of which one to get. Hopefully the Roomba lasts longer than 13 months before breaking down. One hates to pay $1,000 for something that does not last past the end of the warranty. We complain about plastic bags and waste, but this in my mind is sheer pollution building cheap electronics that most people canât fix themselves. The government should be clamping down on companies building low quality products.
Thanks for sharing, I had an older Neato D80, the one that look like the same of NES game console. Had it for a few years without issues. One thing I noticed is in environments with a lot chair legs the robot can get confused. I tried the D7, had similar navigation quirks but love the cleaning ability overall. Hopefully Neato comes out with a new model.
Robot Masters If they do, I hope they build it more rugged than the D7. I live alone and only have hardwood flooring and tiles. My house stays very clean so once a week with the robot is all I need. To clean up such a little bit of dust I would expect these machines to last 5 years minimum. They should not be breaking so fast. Before Iâd buy another Neato Iâd need to know if they started building them with better parts.
Thanks again. I always enjoy your videos and love the messes you make for your tests. đ
ds99 Yeah I agree these robot vacuums should last 5+ years if they are well maintained and taken care of. Had a Walmart Special, $30 Bissel upright vacuum for 4 years and no issues.
Thank you for being positive and goofy in your videos! Youâre not afraid to be yourself and that is awesome.
Thanks, try to keep my videos interesting unlike those other review videos đ€š. Take Care!!!
Robot Masters You too! I spotted a brava jet 240 in the bathroom, are you impressed by its navigation considering it only uses a bumper? No camera or lidar đ Mine works good but over time on large areas itâs starts to not drive in a straight line đ
K7715 Yeah the 240 great for smaller areas and having the ability to navigate around the toilet base. I use the m6 for larger jobs.
Your english just entertaining â€đ
Not fair! To the poor robot.
Oh đźđ
My self emptying bin will not empty itself

yeah I'm not even interested in getting a robot vac, (I was looking for steam mops) and somehow I still stuck around for a few minutes watching this!
I never seen someone having so much fun with one of these before
We just got our i7 & m6 two days ago..love it. Took real care w mapping and really impressed ( this is third R beginning in 2004). Love special cleaning area assignments..clean rug at two doors and R took neat shortcut.
Lots of hardwood here that look s new w Bona liquid.
Love it that my wife just keeps scratching her head..."how does it know how to do that?"
Hahaha as long as the Wife Happy you are in good hands!!!! Yes I been using robot vacuums for many years and to this day their abilities and technology still Amazes me!!!
This guy was definitely stuffed in lockers in high school đ

Some people dont deserve robots.
Woomba picks up dehbwee!
The Roomba i3 is pretty much the same as the i7. The main difference being the i7 has an actual camera on it. I recently got the i3 with the bin collection and itâs amazing. Does so good in my whole house!
What he says about the dust bin is true. They are a bit smaller on the roombas with the bin collection base. However, since it empties itself every time the bin is full with no human intervention, dust bin size isnât an issue.

Stupid when you know the storage bin is small.
Ohhh well luckily there a self emptying bin to empty out the small bin!!!
I like your robot cleaner
I prefer traditional vacuums because they are faster, stronger and more storage capacity, even if they are a little stressful to use.
I like it because I work full time so itâs nice to come home to a fully vacuumed home.
It takes 2 minutes to swipe that ....

Itâs like taking a Honda Civic off roading and saying it sucks when it doesnât perform well.
THE ROOMBA i7. LOOKS MAD
When I have that many orbit on the floor, I would sweep them up myself.
Somebody get the orbeez ladybug here!
I wouldnt bother I'd be able to get it done quicker myself
Yeah but then again u can just let the machine take its time and not even have to bother brooming at all.
@@MaryNAdam that's lazy
I am not impressed with something that leaves (and apparently spreads) dirt, however little. Dirt is dirt. It reminds me of dish washers before they got a little better. People were fascinated by the prospect of what it could do by itself and overlooked the mess.
dishwashers and robot vaccum cleaners are getting better than the average human being
It take me about 1 to 2 minutes to vacuum with an upright vs the sleeping robot (not on its dock) i guess it got tired of spinning in circles and left the crumbs for a midnight snack while it snoops through the house making a mess. It cleans as good as my fingers picking up dust. Id rather an upright with a full canister that doesnt have to be dumped 10 times before it can hal clean 1 room. Imagine leaving home only to find it couldnt finish cleaning because your self emptying canisters bag was full.. And the way to empty is very unsanitary. U have to literally jug the dirt and dust out of the bag for it only to be released into the airđ±đ±đ«

Hahahaha
I just bought my very first Roomba yesterday so Iâm a newbie at all of this. I got the i1 with the self dispensing. Does it have mapping capabilities? I canât find the answer anywhere and you seem very knowledgeable about them.
Hello, so the i1 as of now doesnât have the smart mapping features like the Room Select and Keep out zones. The robot uses an internal map that can be used to see where the robot has cleaned and not cleaned. As of now the user canât edit the map. On the plus side iRobot does have a beta testing feature through the version through the App that going to allow users to have room select aka specify a specific room to clean.
I like your reviews...well done!
Thanks đ

You're assaulting your vacuum cleaner đ đ€Ł
đ€đ€đ€đ€
Luckily you have multiple robots next to each other, so you're house must be pretty clean, do they all run dry on batteries after 2 years?
Well the batteries typically last 3-5 years depending on how often you run the robot. Since most the robots have an auto recharge and resume feature, a decrease in battery performance might not be a big deal as long as the robot can complete the job.
@@RobotMasters yeah that's why I ask it, I have a a320 robot with 2 imperial logos on it đBut my battery is for the second time broke... like dead. So I wondered if the battery's in other droids last longer.they are only 25 bucks tho....But this battery lasted only for 1 to 1,5 year I think with 5 days a week use +-20 minutes vacuum I think. I'm never at home then but it will be around 20 minutes
@@juriaanoussoren So from my experience the Roborock, iRobot and Samsung lasted the longest. Cheaper no name brands start to lose their battery performance around the 1 year mark.
@@RobotMasters yeah Tell me about it, pretty shit đ§đ€
Probably cheaper to buy a second hand more better brand
@@juriaanoussoren Yeah I agree, maybe look at a model that allowed easy swap of the battery, like the Roomba
I love the Roomba captions XD
This is thr one case where thr random path once in the room would have cleaned it better.
Yes kind of wish smart robot vacuums offered both random and smart navigation pattern, for small rooms like this.
Next time can you do sand?
RobotNox is the best product in the market right now in my opinion
How is a round robot with a round brush going to get a square corner?
Rely on the longer side brush to reach the corners.
I have one and I love it.
Roomba torture test! Interested in i7 but the Roomba is hitting the corners of your furniture? Not as smart as I would like it to be hmmm.
Yes because the black furniture, the Infrared sensors fail to pickup. Relying on the bump sensor.
I hate it when it doesn't pick up all the debwee
this thing rocks, it empties itself, how cool, I just got the EV 755 Bissell for $50 used but it was only used 1 month, I wonder if mine will self empty too.....hmmmmm

đđđđđ good testing
Thanks đ
This video is absolutely funny and interesting. Anyway me and my regular stand up Shark vac would do the same job, on CARPET in FIVE minutes!
LOL đ
True. However, can your vacuum do the same job without you present? That is the real selling point and magic of vacuum robots ;) I donât care how long it takes, if it saves me an hour a week then that is fantastic! Kinda like my dishwasher, I could wash everything by hand in less time but why do it if I donât have to. :)
@@GMoney-B good point but please donât get me started on the dishwasher. Itâs the worst home appliance ever invented.
@@kingstonzincfence lol. You may need to go for a better brand then đ.
@@GMoney-B itâs not they donât âworkâ but they shoulda never been invented. They are a waste of water, power, and time. Probably should only be used in restaurants and industrial kitchens.

lol one broom, one garbage bag, 5min
I own an Oreck U2000RB-1 commercial 8 pound upright cord vacuum that has a 6,500 rpm motor and it could pick up all those Orbeez in just a minute or two and the bag would still not be full. That over size Hockey puck just doesn't have the power or big enough canister size like an upright vacuum has.
