    As a Filipino who has never left my country, not once, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that his imitation is SPOT ON. My accent isn't even that thick and he can still do a better job at sounding like a Filipino with a thick accent than me. Shit blows my mind

    I'm Filipino, and honestly, I feel it's definitely closer to a stereotypical accent than an Indian one. Heck, the impression's pretty convincing. A lot more people talk like that lady who was saying "Oh my gad" than you realize.

      It's "trapic" or "trapik" when it's said in vernacular, it's the short and more casual form of the word "trapiko" which in english is "traffic"

      There wasn't much for us Filipinos to relate to the joke aside from the mention of Manila and traffic. I guess we are offended because we were expecting a joke that would burn us, but what we got was one that wasn't tailor fit for us, unlike the Saudi with the bomb jokes.

    He somehow sounds like a Filipino however some words are pronounced incorrectly. Filipinos have a very rare accent and it's actually surprising how he imitated it even he has been in the Philippines just for a while. Anyways. Good comedy. I am a Filipino. I am not even triggered. He's kinda funny though specially the " Create the lane" system. It's hilarious 😂

      True. I’m Filipino and I agree. Although at first I didn’t know if it’s going to be offensive so I had to watch the whole thing to be able to judge it and I’m glad I did. It was was funny. HAHAHA!
      About the accent thingy, I think he got the diction right but the intonation was a little bit Indian. It’s understandable especially when he switches from both accents.

    Filipinos pronounce English words differently and accents differ by region, it depends on your level of education, and your social status (if you've been born rich or poor).
    I agree what Russell said, that sometimes we speak in English and sound like we're singing but it's more likely to happen if a Filipino works as a sale staff and just being nice and happy to see customers.

      Maybe it's the South East Asian characteristics. I do often meet salty Filipinos and Indonesian (sometimes Malay and Thais, too) in the internet/CZcams comments section. They don't just throw insults to other ethnicities, they throw the meanest insults to their own fellow citizens. Maybe it's the poverty that made the people uneducated, unhappy, and became oversensitive yet too proud at the same time... I hope both countries woul develop into a wealthy country soon...we should've love each other as neighbors, fellow South East Asian... ❤❤❤
