Yes. I did the same buying the Invidia Q300 catback system also utilising the factory exhaust flaps. Invidia just sounds perfect for me.

If you put the DSG into S first and then switch to manual mode, it will still fart. Just has to initially be in S
I own a 2018 golf r and and 2017 mustang gt. I will not put an exhaust on the R because I think it sounds like crap. The mustang on the other hand has roush exhaust and a roush xpipe and it sounds amazing. 4 bangers just don't sound good , I'll keep my R stock.

May I suggest touch up and PPF like Xpel. On my 4 winter with my R. Film holds up perfectly in all harsh conditions.
I need it for my front. I only have it on my headlights to protect them from pitting.

How many gallons does it take to fill up the tank?
Around 13 gallons is what I see at the pump.
@@NewEnglandPete good to hear, I’m getting the same with my GTI.
@@BelterLoader It actually has a larger tank than the GTI. The R has 14.5 gallons, the GTI I think is 13.2. I had a GTI before I got my R, and the R does cost more to fill up and also burns quiet a bit more fuel than my GTI.
Why does the manual r also have the “dsg cooler”?
I think what he thought was the dsg cooler, is in fact an oil cooler 👍
Planning to get the Remus Catback exhaust, but not sure to get it resonated or non-resonated. Is there any cabin drone with the valves closed? Especially on the highway. Thanks!
I LOVE my Remus! I recommend going for non-resonated if you don't plan on going with a downpipe later on. Be sure to reach out to Michael and keep me posted on your process! michael@remususa.com
