Bro, earlier this year, I bought a 2017 MK7 Golf R w/40k miles for $29k ! ... but that was before used car prices shot up.

is so so... if not mistaken 2017 is auto 6-spd, not 7 like on the 2018, color and type of trans will also determine price.
Found a fully loaded 2017 with 71,000kms ( Canada ) clean title no accidents, clean body and interior, all service up to date and good service record. They are asking $35,500 Canadian for it.
Can’t forget the 30k mile Haldex service!

Curious to hear if anyone else has suspension creaking? Just got a new clutch installed and I have some creaking that just started in the front left side of the car. Only really seems to pop up after about 30 or 40 minutes on the road.
I hear it can be common to need to have things lubricated and it's coveted by vw, but I figured I'd put it out there to see if anyone else had a similar experience
I’ve owned a 2015 GTI SE and currently a 2018 R and both of them have creaked. It definitely gets worse when it’s colder out but it seems to just be a part of the platform and nothing to worry about too much!

only complaint about my mk7.5 is my axels were a little weak and everyone says that they’ve never had that problem maybe i got a bad batch or beat on it i guess. and they don’t make upgraded ones for 2020
never heard of that issue before. was that a warranty fix?

I bought a 2019 7.5 for 40k with 23k
CPO is the only way to buy used. Warranty from factory..gotta have stick..
I mean the 18/19's have a 6 year/72k mile warranty which is pretty good so even if you buy a non cpo now you got a couple years left. (assuming unmodified and not TD1)
My mk7.5 is at 31000 miles and nothing wrong. Also I tuned at 1200 miles
these cars are beastly
I’m looking at a 2018 with 36,000 miles and two owners. I wonder if it’s a good buy or if it’ll be beat up or unreliable
@@devn3813 It's a car so treat it like your body if you don't take care of it of course it'll won't "work" well if you take care of it regularly you'll be good 🤙🏿

(Same Car as Golf 7.5 R Variant ) the Seat Leon cupra ist so much nicer than the Golf r Variant because IT Looks better and is better spect and is has Same 4x4 & Same gearbox DQ381-7 Speed Same engine EA888 gen3 is38 Turbo ;)
These VAG MQB Plattform is very good and aproved... And in der USA you have catless downpipes No GPF/OPF Like in the EU...,
There is a 70ish looking grandma who has a white R near me in Ohio. Drives very slow lol.
