Greetings.
You guys always ask about how to achieve the "wet look" with your long, curly or wavy hair, and I've been ignoring it because I never really do it for myself, but TODAY is the day.
In this video I will be showing you the process I go through to get my coarse, dry, frizzy hair to maintain moisture and keep a shiny finish that our friend Kit Harrington does as Jon Snow. Or rather, his cracked team of on-set hairstylists do.
Keep in mind that the way you'd go about doing this is completely dependent upon your hairtype AND your hair cut. In order for me to 100% NAIL this would require me to reshape my hair a little bit which I simply was not willing to do, but hopefully that's okay with you guys.

i have straight , thick, frizzy hair, and this gives me a wavy/ curly wetlook, its the best my hair has ever looked.. i used mousse, hair oil, with some leave in conditioner and it turns out the same.. the hairdryer is genius, i was air drying my hair for 5 hours at a time to get the wetlook, but this is ready to go in 10 mins. thanks playa

Love the vids and your channel. I have a similar hair type to yours (I bet you hear that a lot haha) but why didnât you use the bumble and bumble curl cream? Why did you use the gel? Is there a difference? What situations would you use them in?

Jesse bro i love you. Iâve been trying to find something to make my hair look exactly like that since my regular Maui coconut oil spray changed its formula and doesnât do the job anymore.
Great video. I have trouble styling my hair backwards and it always tries to middle part along my head to my crown. Iâm trying to go for a Jay Alvarrez hairstyle and my hair is really poofy and curly on the sides but the top is kinda hard to get down. I think it needs to be longer but Iâm getting a little annoyed with how frustrating it is to deal with. I havenât been using products besides salt water so maybe I will try something like this because I think and gel/paste doesnât make the look Iâm going for but I could be wrong.

Kit harrington (Jon snow actor) has stated that he didnt use shampoo in game of thrones. I doubt he used it after the show to. Ive tried only using conditioner like once every 2 weeks and never shampoo. My hair has gone from fizzy, brittle and dry hair to hydrated and nice curls, like Kit Harringtons. And ive asked my hair stylist and he though felt and looked better and not greesy at all. I think the thing many people call grease isnât grease, its hydrated hair. It will feel different when not using shampoo but it should.

@@lukas7bastos he didnt use anything at all in his hair. Clean your hair with a silicone free shampoo and just wait. In a couple of weeks youll need no shampoo ever again. I dont use conditioner either. Ive relized that conditioner is just plastic in a bottle (silicones) which makes a coating that oils cant penetrate. If you use conditioner your hair will become greesy but if you wait you hair can absorb oils with ease

Hey man. Do you think this product and technique would work for someone with hair that isnât wavy or curly. Mineâs pretty straight but has some length and I always feel my hair looks better when itâs wet. Would this work?
Depends on the look youâre going for! If your hair is straight, you might like a water-based pomade that has a high shine; pomade works easier on long straight hair, at least more-so than gel (which is easier on curly hair thatâs long and thick). You can use the same technique here, but with a pomade instead. Try to experiment with different products!

My hair is curly, thick, and puffy. (A very monstrous combo ik) but if I grew it out a bit to around 6+ inches do you think this would work well even though it's a bit on the shorter end and it's puffy?
Were you able to turn down the volume? Mine when wet is the same as Jhon Snow's, but when it dries it creates a lot of volume

He doesn't. You can do it while dry but I think it achieves better results while it's damp.

When you have dark blond-light brown, thin (no, I don't mean balding) wavy hair and you're watching a video of a guy who naturally has thick curly hair lol. I do have a lot of hair according to most barbers I've been to but it's just that each individual hair is pretty fine/thin. I don't think I'll be able to pull this off.

My hair is like yours, I find it annoying that itâs a very disobedient sort of hair, when you style it it and you this itâs done, it dries up, the you have a total need messed up look

just let it dry naturally and it will be fine, no need to blow dry it.
