Absolutely agree! All good people are welcome to our country to enjoy its beauty but they need to unburden themselves, they have to adjust to the local customs and traditions with w8de understanding, RESPECT the people and our laws, and contribute to the rebuilding and improving the status of of the Philippines. So guys if you have that rightminded attitudes that attuned to the Filipino, come and visit, enjoy and relax!

@@iloveplumpgrannies174 ah yes no problem with that complaints i agree that there are lots of changes that the Filipino needs to have like the values of time, the work ethics and many but what we need are respects and adjustments on their attitude on dealing with the locals, the being arrogant on many foreigners which maybe the felt that the can change overnight the cultures of the people and other traits that is not acceptable with many.

Voted po kasi ang Philippines na best tourist spot in the world nung 2023. tinalo ang singapore at dubai. Syrian, Russian, Colombian, Azerbajian, Austrian, Lithuanian, Germans and Hungarians ang mga napunta dito, aside from Chinese, Koreans, Americans and Canadians na nagpapatuloy ang dagsa hanggang sa mga susunod na taon . . . Mataas na po ang level ng activity dito. All through-out the Philippines kaya busy po mga tao. . . Uwi po kau, at i enjoy ang retirement dito. Huwag na lang po kau magulat kung bakit saan mang lugar sa Pilipinas ay may Foreigner, para sa amin tropa na po sila.😊

As an Americaan in the Philippines I have decided to go back home in JUne 2024, I miss the USA, here in the Philippines its poverty, power outages, terrible infrastructure and if you have a medical issue don't come here, medical care is substandard, you'll wait over an hour before the ambulance or let me say the minivan picks you up, no treatment while being driven to the hospital, at the emgergency room you have to fill out paperwork and place a deposit before treatment and if your lucky the doctor is available, had a friend who went to the emgergency room the doctor was doing his daily checks on patients, friend waited over 40 minutes lucky he survived, don't let these videos fool you, they only show the good side and not the negative side of the Philippines, you decide your fate.

People from colder latitudes are seriously considering it because their money can go much further here, and they can just online manage what leave behind abroad, not to mention the exciting developments in the internet infrastructure and healthcare. Neighboring SEA countries aren't getting cheaper either and feels temporary only. But in the PH, foreigners could start a business within 1 to 3 years, and foreign CZcams vloggers are a testament to that kind of success from humble beginnings. English is widely spoken and you just have to ask people who are always ready to help. 1st world countries may offer a high standard of living, but this sacrifices the quality kind of life as many expats are grateful for. Indeed the Philippines continues to save lives post WWII. Thank you for making this video. New sub here!

Why start a business in the Philippines where its people are starving, they have no money, Philippines main export is slave labor, if your business succeeds you'll have local officals and the police chief trying to extort money from you, very risky for a foreigner to open a business, your life will be in danger.

In 95% it's purely for money or opportunity. I don't think I've ever met a Filipino working overseas that wouldn't choose to be back in the Philippines if it provided the same income and opportunities. Then again, it probably depends where they are - almost all of the Filipino OFWs I am friends with were in the Middle East so it's hardly surprising they would rather be in the Philippines.

Yes, the cost of living is less, but that depends on your choice of partner (some are VERY expensive), or if you're living in the heart of Cebu or Manila. At least that must be why some foreigners say it costs as much or more to live here. They toss around the 'western lifestyle,' but who's Western lifestyle? We all lived differently back home. What I can say is that the cost of living is less for most--at least for the basics.
