- If you are considering or have ever thought about being a digital nomad working remotely in the Philippines then this is the video for you!
I have worked remotely in the Philippines for the last year and in this video I share my experience and thoughts on being a digital nomad based in the Philippines.
Southeast Asia has become very popular for digital nomads, people working remotely away from home to generate an income. The Philippines has joined Indonesia (Bali) and Thailand in becoming a popular destination for Digital Nomads.

I'm really glad you brought up the issue of self-disicipline. Most other youtubers don't talk about that.
Beautiful ❤️🇵🇭
Really interesting video
Good vibes 😎🇵🇭🌴✌🏻❤️
I think a lot of Filipinos themselves would want to be digital nomads and travel our country, or atleast not be stuck in one place for the rest of their lives. Me, i'm working on something that might enable me to do this, GOD willing...
Awesome 👏
❤❤❤
If you can work remotely for a company, it also means the company can hire native remote workers. For half of your salary. It is already happening all over.
True. The best thing for him to do is start his own company and hire Filipinos like what that Aussie guy Jordon did.
Great informative clip. Btw, your voice reminds me of the critical drinker 😅.
Iloveyou Craig🥰😍🤩
Good on you, I'm planning my second trip to the Philippines and hope to go in 8 weeks time, if I could become a digital nomad the Philippines would be the place for me short term.
Enjoy your trip!
Nice video! Where was this filmed? It looked really beautiful there.
Sabang, Puerto Gallera 👍
@@Craig_in_Asia Thank you!
There are now thousands of hopeful people trying to make a living from Utube. The vast majority of them fail to make any money not to mention make enough money to live on. The only logical answer is to carefully plan your retirement to be sure that your lifetime income will allow you live a comfortable retired life with a big enough nest egg to cover unexpected expenses.
Your vids look like voice over B-roll that could be done from anywhere by anyone in their bedroom. Need content that seems real.
I'm back in Scotland at the moment mate so it somewhat is voiceover b-roll in recent videos 😊 I did film everything myself, but check the other videos on my channel for more vlogs. Cheers 👍
I started working from home in January and the company has the flexibility to travel and just let them know where in the world we are... trouble is Jeff doesn't so I'd have to leave him behind 🤣🤣🤣 Obviously I couldn't do this, he'd be so unimpressed 😊
Great that you had the opportunity to to that...any plans to go back and do it all again? 😊
I'd be saying Bye Jeff 😭❤️
Yes I'll be back in the Philippines in early 2025 - can't wait! 😊
Easy and internet is 1000mbps/1000mbps, means I can do a days work in an hour or two.
I could do it now, but my US, EST hours are opposite / Overnight Shift there (no thanks) ..
Ever use Travel Routers to (show your home IP Address) ?
I hear some old CZcamsrs in the Phil "sell" how easy it is to get an online GIG .. And "It's not" ..
Can you share which place is in your video? 😃
This video is from the front at Sabang, Puerto Gallera 👍
@@Craig_in_Asia cool. Thank you!
@@Lhyrej There's a video from here on my channel around 4 months ago if you want a proper look 👍
@@Craig_in_Asia thanks for the recommendation. I subscribed to your channel so I can check it anytime. Cheers!
Why not go to Cebu? Good Internet and you're near the beach.
I thought you have to leave the country every 60 days on a tourist visa
That's Thailand and others. Not in the Philippines. 👍
@Craig_in_Asia Ah I see interesting, how often did you have to extend your visa?
@@BlackChocobo12 you can do 1,2 or 6 months periods
@Craig_in_Asia I heard the 6 month one is really hard to get now, is this true? Thanks for the info btw
@@BlackChocobo12 the first time you renew they'll only give you one month, but then after that it was easy to get 6 months from my experience
❤❤❤
