- ☀️ 😎IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA 😎☀️
Season 2, Episode 9. Thanks for watching along with me!
The Gang are divided once again... Dee and Charlie decide to put on a theatre performance/protest against smoking which doesn't end well for Charlie. Mac and Dennis realise freedom comes at a price when the McPoyle twins turn up, which also doesn't end well for Charlie. PS the return of the McPoyle twins and their sister was seriously disturbing.

"We don't want wild girls. We want real girls GOING wild. It's important to see the transition, you wanna watch the PROCESS." One of my favorite Dennis moments of the whole series, but it is often overlooked.
I almost can't wait for The Implication
This is all not to mention that the cops would shut this down almost immediately. Not because it's illegal, but because they're not getting a cut.
Who says they're not getting a cut?? Paddy's stayed open because Frank paid them off.
Artemis steals every scene she's in, she's the best.
"...it's important to see the transition, you want to watch the process" ...and so it begins
She's yet to know the real Dennis Reynolds. Oh, boy.
Girls dont wanna go wild in this environment "no they dont" lol great reaction
You have to watch Dog Day Afternoon and The Deer Hunter, both referenced in this episode:
Attica! and the Russian Roulette scene.
Mac performs one of the most exaggerated gasps I've ever seen without it being an over exaggeration. They always heavily implied that the Mcpoyles where into incest but they finally showed it lol
Stop treading on the McPoyles.
Watching Charlie's rant (which I've seen at least once before) in Eve's reaction video, I realized for the first time who Charlie reminds of in this scene, and others like it: Beavis. LOL
It's funny that even episodes like this feel quite tame compared to later seasons
Just joining your channel. I love It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. You’re in for a treat. Keep me tuned. Subscribed.
Thanks for the sub! Appreciate it ☺️
we're here for the long haul eve!!!!! thanks for getting these out to us!!!!
charlies characters are so great
If you want to know why Charlie was yelling "Attica" watch a classic film called Dog Day Afternoon.
This show is so great and the side characters just top things off. Every season is better than the last.
I'm pretty sure the rock flag and eagle song was an improvisation by Charlie Day. They're a grand, talented bunch :P
I love these episodes, where they take something that's was probably discussed in the group or on a radio show, our freedoms being taken away, and then running with it in that Always Sunny way.. the worst way and instead of telling you what is right or wrong, they basically show the bad sides of things and let the audience decide
Hey, 3k subscribers. Moving on up! Congrats.
omg more sunny. I do like your sunny content. I wish somehow without spoilers you could watch an episode like 5 seasons up without somehow spoiling stuff just to see the jarring change lol.
lol dennis's "real girls gone willlllld" speech is like seeing an egg maturing lol.
I dont know anything about eggs, but Dennis is being born....
I like how dennis and mac are more annoyed that they have to call the cops than they are worried that someone died in russian roulette
Trust me, they’re top notch
Yeah Thesy Surface is pretty top notch.
YES! Another great reaction. Keep ‘em coming!
I love your laugh at 6:16. Great reaction!
😂😊😊
This episode is a real classic!
What's funny too is that the actual Paddy's Pub in Philadelphia that theirs is based on, actually does still allow smoking, unlike most places around. I try to stop by anytime i'm in South Philly (for the beer, not the smoking)
"Attica" is a reference to the movie *Dog Day Afternoon* , which, in turn, references the prison riot at Attica prison in 1971.
The only other thing I've seen the actor who plays Liam McPoyle in is the Late Night with David Letterman show, where he played the recurring character of Lyle the intern. There used to be a compilation of all of those appearances in one video somewhere on CZcams. It's really funny and very creepy.
Love ur reactions to this!!
In the later seasons the gang often talks about how short-lived their schemes arehaha
I love seeing you laugh out loud dude 😂💞
Fantastic episode. Fantastic reaction.
I like how mac at the end seemed more angry that he now has to deal with the situation rather than being upset at someone shooting themselves.
13:21 "They have to jam pack as much as they can in their butt..."
😂
Finally a new Eve Reacts to IASIP video! looking gorgeous as usual btw.
Agreed, I'm sorry Eve, but you really are best bae!
Rock flag and eagle!!!!
Attica!
Charlie is always the best.
Wait till you get to season 3 you will definitely love it
Another funny reaction. Rock Flag Eagle 🦅
The mcpoyles were so funny. 😂
Another commenter said something similar, but "Don't Tread On Me" is definitely a thing. And while Australians would definitely get the vast majority of the "Americanisms" and American pop culture references in the show, this is one that probably wouldn't be familiar to most non-Americans: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gadsden_flag
As you can read in the article, despite it being a generalized pro-Democracy sentiment familiar to most Americans, in recent years, it's mostly been appropriated by the far right, and even the alt-right (white supremacists, et cetera).
Crikey, I think the phrase, "don't tread on me", is pretty self-explanatory, I'm sure Eve got all the meaning out of it she needed.
@@Cosmo-Kramer Some people desire more than just a passing, vague recognition of things without context. It's okay if that's sufficient for you, and I can't speak for Eve, but I actually like learning things, and appreciate when someone clues me into information. Hence why I posted the link.
@@willsofer3679 Bullshit, it was just an excuse to take a political shot at those who disagree with your politics. Eff off.
@@Cosmo-Kramer No, it wasn't. It's just factual information, my dude, and a recent reality. As documented by the scholars cited in the article. You're just tilting at windmills. Also, I can't exactly "eff off", as you're responding to my comment, not vice versa. Go fuel your outrage machine elsewhere.
Gee...I wonder which political party those "scholars" identify with?? LOL You are a lying leftwing loon! I repeat...eff off!
Charlie's "Rock, Flag, and Eagle" song wasn't scripted, Charlie just through it in. In an interview, he said he did it as a statement on how America has dumbed down its idea of patriotism to symbols like flags and eagles, and how it's been tied to toxic masculinity like big trucks and kickin ass. The funny thing is, when Dee gets that "What the hell" look, that's Kaitlyn Olsen's genuine reaction.
When did having a big truck equal to toxic masculinity? Charlie is hilarious but at the end of the day, he is just a performer.
@@terryr9052 You'd have to ask Charlie...he's the one who said it. But I'd say it probably has to do with big trucks being penis substitutes.
@@terryr9052 not the big truck alone, but the mindset of a stereotypical big truck owner who has no practical need for such a large vehicle. "Everything's bigger in Texas" kind of thing
The type of guy that unironically shouts 'Merica! and squeals their YEE YEE like a pig. I live in Pennsylvania, some parts around here got Pennsyltucky vibes and you'll occasionally see it
@@lavenderllamamusic It isnt my style but nothing you said is inherently bad or wrong about their behavior.
@@terryr9052 nothing wrong with big trucks
I have seasons 1 - 10 on DVD every season is more funny than the next season also I have it's always sunny in Philadelphia a very sunny Christmas on DVD super funny classic
Please do more Sunny!
Love seeing your reactions to this great show sweetheart
Don't call women you don't know "sweetheart". It's creepy and weird.
Rock, Flag, and Eagle! Freedom, how much is too far? the McPoyles part may be too far for me.
Best show. You should add the episode name into the title, it'd be helpful and might even get you some more views.
Thanks for the tip!
Hi EVE I'm from Phoenix ARIZONA I have to say you are so beautiful ;)
Did this chick disappear or what?
