My favorite bit about Devito getting naked is that Kaitlin (Dee) completely forgot her lines when he came out of the couch naked, and so he had to just stand there naked and grunting while motioning to her to try to get her to say her line for a while before she remembered.

I watch this and Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas every year.

For context, while this was shown on TV at the end of Season 6 and on streaming services, the episode was initially released on DVD in 2009 when Season 5 was in progress, and was filmed during Season 4's filming, as you can probably tell by the look of the characters (hair style, facial hair, etc.) and the video quality/resolution. So, canonically this takes place before Season 6.
