Also, lacquer thinner, and yes a natural hair brush. As far as prep I always use glass cleaner. Wipe and dry right behind. If the surface is heavily waxed I have found that one pass with an orange citrus cleaner and then regular prep. To clean mistakes just use a wax and grease remover. Hope I have answered all your questions.

DUPONT makes a line called NASON FULL CRYL. IT IS PERFECT for striping, adding hardener is optional but highly recommended. Any hardner like wet look can be used. it is glossy, durable, very well priced and custom colors can be mixed at any good automotive paint shop. you may have to let it thicken up some before running your lines. Last time I bought some green mettalic, it was around 32.00 a quart, and the hardner around 15.00 a half pint. There is a internet store called tri city paint that sells acrylic enamel by the gallon. they are also know as trinity paint out of new jersey.

you can call your local automotive paint supply stores and ask if they have any acrylic enamel sitting around they want to sell at a discount price/ LISTEN, all acrylic enamel is is the type of paint that was used before the modern base coat/clear coat urethane enamel paint/ acrylic enamel is very good paint. if will not blister peel like base coat clear coat because the gloss is mixed with the pigment. if you add the WET LOOK hardener it will bevery glossy and durable. and unless its metallic, if it ever fades you can wet sand it and buff it back to life.
