- In this video, I unbox and share my first impressions of the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9500. What’s the price tag on this bad boy? A whopping $300! But… is it worth it? Read my review on other Sonicare models here: askthedent.ist/sonicare-tooth...
Brushing is a fundamental part of great oral health (and don’t forget flossing!). BUT, do we really need to spend a significant amount of money for an electric toothbrush? I mean, I get it. It’s connected to your phone via bluetooth and it monitors how hard and how well you brush but still. It’s all about getting the job done. You can brush your teeth using a $5 toothbrush or a $300 toothbrush-just as long as you do it the right way.
I made a video showing how to brush your teeth the right way. Check it here askthedent.ist/brush-right
I expect the Sonicare DiamondClean 9500 to perform well, given its price tag. If you’d like to get one for yourself, check it out on Amazon through the link below.

Couldn’t find follow up video. From comments below it looks like you didn’t get to do that video 2 weeks later. I would love to see your follow up. Is it still your favorite? How did it hold up. 🙏🏼
Lol omg I’ve been trying to figure out how to use the case because my 30 days to return if I have an issue is almost up. I thought you opened that part but also have a tendency to break things so was afraid to. I checked out at least 5 videos&googling online to try to check so I didn’t break it,thank you! I like your video but special thanks for saying about the case.
I can't find your review on this product on you tube.
Could you do a follow up as to why this is your favorite?
Does it state where this particular brush was manufactured?
I wonder if you can sue the company if you used this toothbrush every day and still got a cavity? Spending $300 on a high-tech toothbrush and still getting a cavity would be the real crime.
Is this brush with the App worth the price tag? Or is buying the brush on its own without the App OK? Would love to see you do a video where you compare the two brushes. Especially when the link you’ve provided in other comments just says this is your favourite brush, but not why.
I have 5 on. My countertop.

Still waiting on the follow up for this toothbrush ?

@@casebased8391 Hi there, so sorry I missed this comment... HERE is my favorite - askthedentist.com/product/philips-sonicare-diamondclean-9500/
So sorry I missed your comment. I've actually written an article listing my favorites on AsktheDentist.com. but I REALLY like this one. askthedentist.com/product/philips-sonicare-diamondclean-9500/
@@askthedentist your link is broken
The battery on my old Sonicare DiamondClean purchased in 2014 finally has given out (it needs to be charged every other day now).
I’m just looking for the difference between the 9300 model @ $180 and the 9700 @ $300
Jonathan Rogers I believe they function the same, but the 9700 is better value because it comes with extra brushes
Hygienist here, Sonicare is a great toothbrush, but wow, that is expensive tech!
Very good
Where is the follow up review video?
amen man...
Why do you have your toothbrush hooked up to an internet application and recording whatever the recording . I've seen the advertisements see they cost up to like $300 seems like a total waste of money to me. What's important is the quality of the brush the speed the strength of the vibration and the cycling !
And 8 months later still no follow up to questions you asked in your own video.
Hey, Sabastian, so sorry for the misunderstanding. I have listed my ranking on AsktheDentist.com but here's a link to my favorite - askthedentist.com/product/philips-sonicare-diamondclean-9500/
@@askthedentist The second link does not work : (
I would really like to see the review video
They are selling a motor at a cost of 300$.
Do you have to use the app. Can you just use the brush without it - God I hope so. See almost a third or more of this video is about the app and signing up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seems like clickbait cause we never got an answer...more like an unboxing and commentary....don't waste ur time.O, and there is no follow-up video!
Very good tongue is hard to clean especially when gag
Sorry but you could've condensed this 12 minutes + video to 3 seconds by saying "Me, me, me, it's all about me, I love me".
