    I'm glad you checked that rear differential fluid level it's surprising how many experienced mechanics I have seen make that mistake of just assuming that the fluid is not low or leaked past the gasket or sealant. It's ggod mechanical practice and it's why I appreciate this channel.

    • @Involvod
      @Involvod  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks! It's easy to not worry when it's a small leak, but it doesn't take long to run too low especially when there is only 1.5 liters in there to begin with 😄

    Unless cars are left on grass for a length of time or really neglected. Normally rust is not a problem in Australia , sometimes under the battery if previous owner has not carried out a bit of preventative maintenance. I have recently purchased a 940 Sedan. 1991. $1200. Can still bring around the $5000+ in good condition. Luckily white in colour. A cut and polish and looks like new. Interior is about 90% from new. Unfortunately plastics do suffer from the sun, so I will need to be careful pulling apart. It has black plastic wheel trims, which at first glance look like mags. Air conditioning recently serviced with a new compressor. Motor runs sweet. 280K Klm. I previously owned many years ago for 14 years a 145. It’s body was galvanised under the paint, so never ever had a sign of rust. I suppose costs have seen the demise of this. Best of luck to you. Keep Volving on.

      I spent a year in Australia and loved seeing all the oldies on the roads, but yeah that sun is no joke. Congrats on the purchase! Sounds ideal. I like white cars as it's the only time my body repairs look good 😃

    Great video. Super car. Have to say that the blower motor is a BIG improvement over the blower motor in North American 240s. It is a 10 hour job to re and re one of those things. The entire dash has to come out.

      Glad you enjoyed it! I didn't know that, will have to pay extra attention to it when I buy the next one, as they are also common to fail right? I think the only similar job on these 940s is the heater core, how are they to do on the 240?

    The 940 has the worst placement possible of the horns.
    They could have put the horns ANYWERE else on the car, and it would have been an improvement.
