A couple of suggestions: weeds do not do so well with vinegar on them, and salt will kill them too. That way you do not need to use herbicide which is far more destructive to the environment than washing your car. The other is when moving your car sideways: line up the dolly wheels so that they are pointing in the direction you want to push rather than them swiveling around as you try to start the push, and use a lever or a come-along to push or pull your car. With a little imagination you can figure how/where to apply the pushing or pulling to not damage the car. As far as the shed door goes: take the door off it's hinges, close it and then put it back on it's hinges. Or leave it off it's hinges and use as a "sliding" door. Good Luck!

Vinegar and washing up liquid 60/40 what I use does the trick.

Hi, may I suggest that the easiest way of welding is MIG and Flux Cored wire. That way You don't have to bother with buying gas cylinders, and also it is easier to weld outside as the gas doesn't blow away. To start learning to weld it's just a matter of playing with the settings and experimenting with technique. It goes something like this, Your first meter or so is purely experimental. The next few meters and You're gaining some skill with it. After that start experimenting on the car, You will find that the welder needs to go in at various angles, and You have to keep shuffling about under the car, and a few things like that. It is just a matter of getting used to it. For structural welding to MOT standards the patch has to be seam welded all the way round, ie the metal has to be melted together all the way round. It sounds ominous but You can see through Your darkened visor if it is good as You go along. If You get a bit that does not appear to have worked just go over it again, this happens quite a lot and takes up loads of time especially for people like Me who don't do a lot of welding. I'm not sure about Europe but In the UK it dosen't have to look pretty, just be functional. To be honest My welding looks terrible! But that's what angle grinders are for! It gets easier after a car or two as You gain confidence and skill. Best of luck with it.
Best Wishes Dee, (the worlds worst welder, But the worlds best grinder)

The 740: there is two Tempsensors on the engine, the one closest to the front sends signal to the gauge and the other closest to the firewall sends signal to the fuelsystem!
Try changing the one to the engine ;) and it might help with your troubles.

If you have a larger jack it is possible to move the car sideways by lifting the rear in the towbar or rear axle. I have done this successfully, just make sure the car doesn't slide of the jack when pushing it sideways.

Ah well now we both have the same coloured 245.
    What year is it?
I have three of the later style steelies and one of the older ones. It was a spare wheel that came with the car. I bent one of the originals on a curb two winters ago so now the older one, which is white... is on the back.
Strangely, the front hubs have this tiny pin poking out and the older wheel wouldn't fit on the front so I had to move a back wheel to the front and put the older one on the back.
I had a couple laughs on this vid. I don't remember that part of the Simpsons.
    And the shed door.. hmm.
Watch the rear tires that they don't go flat whilst the bumpers is over the cinder blocks by the garden.
