i would try and remove the lead screw from the siezed up Columbia. then you can use a block of wood and a hammer to knock on it. Very good haul. i'm looking forward to the restoration vids. Hopefully the school makes a deal with you. cheers
Very nice Vise haul. I have a Morgan that I use almost daily. That style FPU vise is prone to breaking in that area. I really wanted one unit I found that out. I can't wait to see what you do with then all.
Spectacular set of vises. Please do not let the Athol 324 1/2 go to students. I will trade you something for it that you can still send to students if you don’t keep it. And 100% keep the hollands 90 that’s a special and rare unit. As it the athol. The combo series are fairly rare
HaHA! I know you love your vises! You were correct when you told me the quality of the Athol vises! I just finished the resto on this Athol and it was stellar!
Very Nice
Yes Athol vises are nice. I have 3.
Sweet! I literally just finished the resto on this one 15min ago. It did not disappoint! Thanks for the comments.
In my mind the best made

Good advise indeed thanks!. Just finished the first two vises....the Reed and the Athol. Still need to edit but I will get them out ASAP.

Thanks! I have just finished the second of at least 12 vises I have. Should get the first edited and uploaded in the next week.
@@shopdoc looking forward to it

@@shopdoc I’ll bet you that it becomes your daily user and it is always a good argument in the athol/starrett vise vs reed
Maybe, still not sure I will keep it. I'm keeping either the Athol or the Rigid. The Hollands was never intended for the school.
