Best video so far. Thanks man.
Thank you, I watched a few videos and this was the one that actually helped me get this done!

Thank you! Worked like a charm and saved alot of frustration!
Glad I could help👍
Hook a strong shoe lace through the spring, drop it down through the hole and pull down. Works like a charm and the spring can't spring away.
Tried this today, worked amazingly!
Thank you, sir !! Make it look easy and it worked!!
Glad it helped!
Thank you!
Banging!!!
👍
Thanks!
Its even easier to put a small flat screwdriver first trough the pin. So you hold the spring in place.
Why are use a flat head screwdriver when you can use the pin itself?
Been watching a couple videos, and it doesn't seem clear to me which direction the pin SHOULD go. My 2020 250XCW has the pins entering from the bottom up or towards front. I've had an issue since replacing with aftermarket foot pegs where I'm somehow loosing the cotter pin on shifter side. I've gathered that I think my side stand is pushing on the pin and possibly shearing the cotter pin over time. I changed pin direction thinking that if I ever did lose a cotter pin that the pin would more likely stay in place (I think this saved me) but I also have never had an issue otherwise before. Do you know which way they should go?
On the right side of the bike, the pin goes the way I showed in the video on the left side of the bike with the kickstand. The pin goes the opposite direction.
@@MaxsMotoShop This make sense and seems optimal moving forward considering everything. However this is NOT the way configured by KTM factory on my bike originally, whatever that is worth.
@@ZACZPA KTM factory does not install foot pigs on bikes, 17-year-old kids working at dealerships do👍
@@MaxsMotoShop Great point, I did not consider this! Appreciate ya 👊✊
