Good video, thanks. I would redo the test though as you need to spray the Mothers CMX and let it sit for 2-3 mins before wiping off. It may bring the color out more on the CMX.
Used turtle wax ceramic spray. The first application was a hit harder. I did apply in shade. Waited 24 hrs. The second application was much much easier. For some reason I think the second application was the one that gave depth and saturation to the paint compared to the first. Water beading is amazing even on the first application.

Titanium Dioxide is a excellent UV sun blocker. Other products focus on water bedding (hydrophobic) but neglect UV damage protection. I seen boats coated with resin base ceramic coating oxidized (dullness) while still water bedding (hydrophobic)

Boys, you all need glasses. I was convinced from other tests the CMX was the best but clearly the Turtle is blacker. The CMX seems to have a yellow haze on it ( maybe because it wasn't left on as instructed ). But right now its Turtle for me.
I used this Turtle Wax on my 2020 Camaro and it's amazing...someone even said my car looks like a mirror. The car looked good the day I applied the product and it seemed to have gotten even better a few days later. I highly recommend this TW ceramic spray!

I've always had great results with cmx but after this video I think I'll give tw a try its cheaper than cmx

When I applied my cmx I sprayed onto an applicator pad, applied evenly onto the paint so that the whole panel looked wet. I let it sit for 3 minutes then buffed off. It’s good stuff! Haven’t used it in a while as I have the turtle wax ceramic on my car now.

The Turtlewax polish and ceramic is superb but i used the ceramic spray on top and i keep getting a lot of streaking which is hard to buff off.
Thank you for watching, much appreciated. Yes, we also experienced streaking. We found that wiping with a damp microfiber helps reduce or eliminate streaking, and given some time any remaining streaking disappeared.

The CMX is far superior to all of the competitors, even the new creakote, it'll last 4+ years on a garage kept vehicle
The Turtle Wax outperforms more expensive ceramic sprays in lots of other CZcams reviews aswell
It is impressive for the price. We personally feel it it is a better option over the new Turtle Wax Graphene Flex Wax (even though it is designed to be a bit different) Thanks for watching!
You only needed the damp cloth because he used 4 sprays on the panel and when he shook it he spilled even more on the panel so it was way overused. My money goes to turtle wax. Plus with a 24 hour cure its even more durable.
We prefer the Turtle Wax as well. We did have a little more product on that section, but in other tests we usually need the damp cloth for streaking. Glad to see Turtle Wax recommends this. We think it could possibly be our dry desert air drying the product very quickly on us. Definitely still a great product that is easy to use.

I just stumbled upon the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray coating when I was shopping for cleaning products for my brand new truck in AutoZone. I have to say, I'm VERY glad to have bought it while there are literally no swirl marks on the paint job after watching your entire video. Would you say this would be a good alternative to the ceramic coating non-spray application, the one where you have to wait 48+ hours in addition to the whole paint prep prior to coating?
Hi Skyler. Thanks for checking out the video. We are glad to hear of your success with the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating. As far as a replacement to traditional ceramic coatings, they still have upper hand on longevity. These Spray coatings are close though and can be used on top of traditional coatings for even greater protection and maintenance.
If you have a brand new truck I highly recommend bilthamber atom Mac to stop it rusting plus the rest of there products are awesome for shine plus rust protection
Next time - turtle wax ceramic spray vs Griot’s Ceramic spray. I haven’t tried Turtle Wax but Griot’s seems very hydrophobic. I

Cmx guy keeps bufding his half but no buffing was done on the turtle wax side...invalidates the experiment...damn, i was really interested what accurate results would be.
Hi Malcolm. Not sure, but we think you might have missed it. Immediately after applying the towel was flipped over @13:15 and the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions was buffed off. We also brought in a damp microfiber for a final buffing step. (Just in case: This Ceramic Spray Coating is not meant to sit and haze, it is to be immediately leveled and buffed after spraying)
All a few minutes to bon to surface. Yall buff the CMX off after 15 seconds
