    Great video! It was cool seeing how the different pads performed. All the pads from the softest to hardest worked great and that speaks volumes for this product. You are welcome for the tip. Crushed it with this video, great work! I've been having a lot of fun with Ceramic Polish & Wax as well, LOVE the smell of this stuff like you, very easy choice to want to pull out and play around with and get great results. Priced competitively, I definitely like to use that damp microfiber for the final wipedown, so I'll soak it up, wring it out and I find that gets me a nice and clean wipe. what up , that first pass with the finishing pad made huge difference without a more aggressive pad, and this vid show different results with different pads, Great Vid,
    Perhaps wipe with damp microfiber, when you taking it off the spent polish. Turtle Wax, doing their thing, and at the price point very good,

    Hi PapaSmurf, I really enjoy your videos! Thanks for sharing! About 7 months ago, I started using the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions line of products, after I started watching some of your fellow youtubers. As you know, some of the folks went to Arizona and were wined & dined by TW. So I was a little sceable? I live in the midwest, so my cars have been through winter driving conditions and still look great. As Brian from Apex says, "Preparation is Key". So both of my cars were prepared properly. This was amazing to see. I know we have been talking quite a bit lately and i think ive landed on my chosen method now. As i already have the ceramic spray coating, I’m going to stick with the ceramic theme and go wit this polish. Here’s the thing.I’m going to be applying it “old school” by hand. I had what i thought was a polisher, turns out what i had was a less than sub standard Simonize 10” Orbital (check the reviews) its not what I want to be using. Great vid! Thanks for sharing the speeds you used while using the G9. I recently used my G9 for the 1st time. Detailed a White over Black 2010 Toyota FJ that had some serious paint issues. As it was my very 1st time using a polisher I went super light using 3D one, the Griots orange pad and a CG white. It got most of the scratches out but the heavier ones and some staining? or? I couldn't get out. I was up front with the owner and said I would do what I could. Having that test panel for practice and product demonstrations is a huge benefit for sure! I used the 3 speed setting for the entire process? Wasn't sure to turn it up or? The FJ turned out freaking awesome. I really want to try the TW Hybrid Solutions line but can't find the products locally. Amazon is the only place I'm finding them and maybe it's just me but I can't find the entire kit together? Great video!
    I'm surprised as how well the black pad worked for you. MB if oem paint is usually a very hard clearcoat. But wondering if you maybe didn't had so deep scratches on the paint where you used the black pad vs orange and yellow one. To be honest just from the video it looked like the black pad leaved the best correction which is a little odd. And maybe you got more of a filling from it with the less aggressive combo. They said on the meet they had that the least aggressive combo get you the most protection from it. And mostly any protection is quite good to be filling out the imperfections the more that you get left behind on the paint. Do you think that you did get a filling from the black pad?
    The distributor in Sweden has just got it up on it's products website. So hopefully any day now it comes out to the stores here. The TW Hybrid Solution Ceramic Polish and Wax is the product that I think is the most interesting product of the Hybrid Solution line of products. Then maybe I pick up the Ceramic Spray Coating as well. And will see how the price of them are here as well. Some products can be very expensive here in Sweden when the vat and taxes is included sadly. And that I have so much of great products at home already LOL. Hope that some family and friends want their vehicals spring detailed in april or may.
    Would be very interesting to see if you where to strip of the protection of the Ceramic Polish and Wax on your test hood. To see if it's filling ability is high or low. No wrong with a great filling ability from it in my book. Maybe just be knowing that could be great. Vehicals with thinner damaged clearcoat benefits a lot from a great filling ability and that it has a longer durability from it would be awesome to have in the arsenal.

    Great Video!! I'm Thinking Of Getting This Product And My First DA Polisher Probably A Griots Garage "6 inch I'm A Little Worried Because it Would Be My First Time Using One, Hopefully I Don't Mess up!! Fingers Crossed!!😨😲

      Raymond, thanks man! Awesome to hear your getting your first polisher.. don't worry you will be Fine!!! Your getting the G9 I assume? I reccomend the 5" backplate for it as it just makes it easier to use in my opinion 👍🏻 you don't absolutely have too but it's much easier. Anywho, pick up a black finishing pad and an orange correcting pad from griots. They are very safe so don't worry about hurting the paint. Just keep the pressure somewhat moderate and keep the polisher moving👌🏼 do a few passes and check your work! You will have a blast. Also, when removing this TW ceramic polish and wax, spritz a tad bit of water down when removing it. It will help activate the shine polymers and also help with any high spots you may or may not run into ✊🏼 let me know if you need anything else as far as tips go! Appreciate you watching man!

      I'm not to sure what rpm it is to be honest. But you wanna stay at a mid level speed with this product. The platelet technology works for you so high speeds aren't necessary 👍🏻

    Do you know if using a uro fiber 50/50 or lake country flat orange pad with turtle wax ceramic polish on soft paint will leave haze/marring?

    • @PapaSmurf918Detail
      @PapaSmurf918Detail  Před 4 lety +1

      I'm not sure if those specific pads would.. I would think the uro pad could possibly maybe a little bit. But, I'd opt for the foam pad over the uro pad with the Turtlewax Ceramic polish👍👍 I got fantastic results with a black finish pad and a orange correcting pad. I could be wrong about the uro pad.l though. Something now I'd like to test out. Hope that helps man!✊👍

      @@keithknechg3217 it is ps dependent from what I have been told. But for me the black foam pad worked the best. Not that other pads are not good though. If you have protection I have been using ( and highly recommend) Poorboys world stripdown👍 a fantastic strip wash formula. Works very well removing any older and pretty fresh protection. Then panel wipe.... then hit it with the TW ceramic polish an wax. And when removing it give it a spritz of water or use a damp microfiber towel to remove it. That will help activate and set the Si02 layer👍👍
